Riele's POV

Right now I'm currently watching SpongeBob SquarePants and eating a family size bag of bbq lays chips

Cause what else was I suppose to do on a Saturday

My mother came in my room turning on the lights and opening the curtain making the bright sun hit me making me hiss

"Riele why are you still in bed." She questioned

"Cause.... I just woke up."

"It's 2pm!" She says likes it's a big deal

"And I was gonna get out of bed at 3." I stated not making it a big deal

She sighs "Riele what happened two weeks ago?"

"I started watching SpongeBob."

She gives me a stare and closes my laptop that I was watching SpongeBob on

"Mom!"

"Riele two weeks ago you and Jace broke up and ever since you haven't left the house." She says

"Well thanks for being that up again." I roll my eyes sighing

"Riele your getting out the house today." She says yanking the blanket off me

I groan "What am I suppose to do today!?"

"Your going to Jaces house."

I laugh "Mom if you just trying to make me get out of bed, it's not gonna work."

"Well I'm not trying. Your going, Ella and Sean are also going to be there." She adds

I scoff "Did you come up with this?"

"No, Ella told me to make you come."

"Ughh, I'm so gonna get Ella."

"We're leaving in an hour." She says

I groan laying back on my bed

"Riele West Downs I will yank you off that bed if I have to!" She yells sounding serious

I get off my bed slowly "Fine I'm up!"

I went to the bathroom and changed out of my Instagram shirt and jacket with  pajamas pants, took a shower and changed into

I put my hair into a pineapple hairstyle and grabbed my phone

I was leaving my room until something caught my eyes in my vanity mirror

I still had on Jace love necklace on

Maybe it would be weird if I still wore this? I shrugged and took it off and put it on my vanity desk

"Riele you ready?!" My mom yells from downstairs

"Coming!" I take one quick look at myself before going downstairs

We're at Jace house now but I'm still in the car with my mom

"Mom do I have to go!"

"Your acting like a baby." She says

"No I'm not." I wine

"Riele get out of the car." She unlocks the door

"But I don't feel like going." I admitted

"I know it's hard to act like you still don't like Jace but you gotta go." She points to the door

"Exactly mom but- wait what no I don't like Jace anymore." I realized what she said

"Mhm." She smirks at me

"I'm getting out the car now." I said getting out the car

My mom drove away and I saw Ella getting out her mom's car and walking towards me

"Hi ri-" I stopped her

"Don't hi me, Ella why on earth would you tell my mother about making me come to Jace's house without even telling me!" I snapped

"Cause I knew if I asked you there wouldn't even be a chance of you saying yes." Ella says

"Well yeah." I said obvious

"Ok Riele next month we start working on season 3 and you and Jace can't go back super awkward with each other, so your gonna go in there and talk to Jace and enjoy it!" She snaps pushing me to his door

"Geez." I scoff "But don't do anything embarrassing."

"Now do you wanna ring the doorbell or I'll do it." Ella says

"Ugh how bout neither." I smiled at her

She shakes her head ringing the doorbell

"Where is your necklace Jace gave you?"

"I felt like it would be weird if I wore it today." I said before the door opened

It was Sean at the door

I exhale "Oh thank goodness it's you."

"Where's Jace?" Ella asked

"He getting chips so he told me to open the door." He says letting us in

My stomach started feeling like it was shutting together "Um so before Jace comes back, did he ever say anything about me in the past two weeks." I asked Sean

"You care so much." Ella smirks at me

I roll my eyes at her and Sean laughs "Just really complaining to me and Isabella about how he misses you."

I roll my eyes again at Isabella name

"Sup Riele and Ella."

That was Jace voice behind me

I slowly turn around to face Jace "Hey." I said kinda awkwardly

That awkward hey cause a silence between all of us

"Well I'm gonna go get chips." Ella said getting up

"And I'll show you were they are." Sean said following Ella

Ugh now I would rather die then be in this awkward silence with Jace

"So.." He scratches the back of his neck

"Ok I'm just gonna say it, Jace our breakup doesn't have to really affect our friendship right?" I blurted

"N-No of course not. I still want us to be best friends." He says

"Well good."

"Does that mean we kinda have to forget that we ever dated?" He asked consider

"No I mean it still happened, it's just the past now." I said

"Well good." He smiles back

"Well those chips in the kitchen aren't going to be eaten by themselves." I smirk at him walking to the kitchen were Ella and Sean was

"You guys good?" They both asked

"Yea." I smiled eating a chip as he walked in

"Jace your really stupid." Ella sighs shaking her head

"Well I'm sorry I didn't believe you that Dr.Wells was actually Reverse-Flash." Jace shrugs

We are currently watching The Flash in Jace living room (this show is gonna cause me to fail 8th grade 🤷🏽‍♀️ it's so addicting 😻)

"Now you owe me 5 dollars." She says to Jace

"I can't believe you guys had a bet bout this." I laugh throwing popcorn in my mouth

Jace smirks at Ella like he has a plan "Ok how bout we make another bet but this time it's 20 dollars."

"Boi Jace you didn't even have the five dollars." I rise an eyebrow at him

"I'm listening." Ella smirks at him

"I bet that Dr.Wells from earth 2 is bad and low key helping Zoom." He says

"I bet he's innocent and just wants to help his daughter." She snaps back (ok I wrote this when I was at that part but I pasted it now so idc if you guys wanna say stuff now 😂)

"Bet on." They both said

"You guys are stupid." I laugh at them

We continued to watch The Flash and out of no where Ella had to open her mouth

"You know Barry and Iris are low key like Henry and Charlotte. Like Henry and Barry are both fighting crime and they both like their girl best friend. Well Barry admitted it, Henry just still hasn't admitted yet but he well soon and even-"

I gave Ella the "stop talking" death stare

She saw my look "Or I'll just stop talking now."

Thank god Sean walked in or else it would have been awkward silence

"Hey Jace can I borrow your Mac so I can Skype a fan." He says to Jace

"Sure it's inside me room."

"Did you do a contest or something?" I ask him

"Yeah, it was who ever can guess a line from a episode or whatever." He says shrugging (idk just came up with somethin)

"Who won?" Ella asked

"A girl name Helen." He replied

"Have fun." Jace says then Sean goes inside he's room

We watched a couple more episode of the Flash was when I realized my chip bowl was empty

"I'm gonna go get more chips." I said getting up

Jace got up also "I'm gonna go get a soda."

"Get me on, I ain't getting up now. Barry is getting his ass whooped by Zoom and I ain't trying to miss this." Ella says focusing on the TV

Me and Jace went inside the kitchen and I started pouring more Lays inside the bowl

"Ella is addicted to that show." Jace says getting two Sprites

I lean back on the counter "I still don't see how Ella thinks Barry and Iris are like us." I chuckle

"I don't know, maybe since we play the characters we can't see it." He shrugs

I turn back my back and saw the cookies me and Jace made like a month ago "Jace why do you still have these cookies there like a month old."

"Them being a month old is not the only think wrong with them." He laughs

"It wasn't my fault that I added to much baking soda." I shrugged

"Riele I said one teaspoon not half the box." He recalls

"We should give one to Ella." I joked

"Ooo, we should." He said going behind me and putting his arm around me to get a cookie

This made me get a flashback...

FLASHBACK

"Jace you don't have any teaspoons here." I told him holding the baking soda in my hand

He walks inside the kitchen "I don't know eyeball it."

"I'm gonna add to much." I say

He walks behind me "No your not."

I shrugged and started to pour a tiny in but Jace startled me by wrapping his arms around my waist and laying his head on my shoulder

"I'm so tried." He mumbles

"Well your cookies are fucked up now." I laugh

He stands next to me and grabs the baking soda out of my hands "Riele how those one teaspoon take up half the box!" He asked confused

"You startled me." I tried not to laugh

"The next time you ask to make cookies the answer is a no." He says putting the box on the counter

"Are you mad?" I smiled at him

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"So you are mad?"

"Yes- what I mean no NO!" He shakes his head

I wrap my arms around his neck "Your really cute when your mad."

"Riele I'm trying to be mad at you right now." He stares at me

I lean in and kissed him

We let go "I'm still mad." He try's not to blush

I kissed him again but more passionately

"Fine I'm not mad no more." He playfully rolls his eyes

I laugh at him "Of course you aren't."

FLASHBACK OVER

"Riele! Riele!" Jace waves his hands in front of my face

I faze out of the flashback "What?"

"Are you ok?" He asked

"Ugh y-yeah."

"Ok let's go give these cookies to Ella." He had a evil smirk on his his face

"Yeah, I'll be there." I smiled at him as he walked away

Believe it or not it's not the first time I faded out into a flashback about me or Jace

Like why am I having this flashback

"EWWWWWW!" Ella gagged running in the kitchen to the trash can spitting it out

"What the fuck type of cookie was that?" She wiped her mouth still gagging

"Riele made that." Jace says

"But Jace was the person that gave it to you." I defended myself

"Screw both of you." Ella says giving a death stare then walking to the living room again

Jace stood next to me "Is it bad that I wanna prank her." He looks at me

"What do you have in mind this time?" I smirked at him

He took two shot glasses from a cabinet

"You wants us to actually take shots?"

He laughs "No." He took a Sprite can and poured some into them

"Ok they actually look like there's Tequila or Vodka or something." I said shocked

"You wanna prank Ella again with these?"

"Jace your for real stupid." I laugh at him

"Come on."

"I'm pretty sure Ella won't be dumb enough to think we're actually drunk." I admit

"Were good at acting, well fool her." He says

"Ok, but what are we even gonna do?"

" I don't know, be like we're still dating or something." He shrugs like it's nothing

"Gotcha." I faked smile

This shouldn't be uncomfortable, just gotta act like I'm still in love with Jace?

Which won't be acting then

"Let's go." He says grabbing his shot glass

I grab mines. I can already tell this was a bad idea but it was to late to back out now

"You know I can get you guys back so hard- why do you two have shot glasses in your hand?" Ella asked really confused

I shrugged "Ion know. We only took like maybe 6 shots." I played a drunk voice

"Yeah," Jace drinks his "Well I'm official drunk."

"You guys are under age to drink!" Ella screamed at us

"Babe when are we gonna tell Ella that were still dating?" I asked in a raspy voice

"Umm what!?!"

"Babe your so drunk you just spilled it out." He puts his forehead on mines and laughs

I smiled at him and giggled "Oops."

"You guys are kidding, right?" Ella asked worried

"Nope." Jace says taking my shot and drinking it

I playfully slap his chest "That was suppose to be mines."

"Your all ready drunk enough."  He made it seem like it burned his throat

"Oh.... my.... god!" I heard a girls voice yells that wasn't Ella this time

I turn around to Sean totally shocked and the girl he was video chatting

"Oh god." I face palm

"W-What is happening here?" Sean shutter confused

"I knew it! I knew it, Jace and Riele still have feelings for each other!" The girl yelled over the screen

Jace groans "Sean what are you doing here?"

"Well I came here cause Helen just wanted to say to hi to you guys but I didn't expect to see Jace and Riele drunk, and still together." He said the last part confused

"Bruh wait till I post theses pictures and tell everyone that you guys are dating and that you guys are drinking when y'all ain't even the right age and-"

I stopped "Hold up please! First me and Jace are not dating and second you can't post those pictures."

"And what's my reason why?" She asked with eyebrow up

"Cause you love us." Jace says

"Also cause you don't wanna disobey our privacy please." I said

"Wait hold up so you and Jace are still not dating?" Ella asked

We both nodded

"Then what just happened?" Sean asked

"Jace," I looked at him with a death stare

"It was just another prank that we were just doing on Ella." Jace says

"So that cookie wasn't enough torture for one day." Ella looks at us with crazy expression

"It's not even real vodka or whatever it's just Sprite," Jace adds

"How do I know your not lying and you just don't want people to know you guys are under age drinking and still together." Helen speaks up again

I sigh "First were not drinking we can literally show you the half can of Sprite that we use, and second why would we fake a breakup?"

"I don't know," she shrugs "But I still wanna post these pictures and videos."

"You didn't mention videos before." Jace states

"Helen please I'm begging you not to post those pictures."

Right when she opens her mouth there was a big crash

"What was that?" Sean asked

"Oh I don't know, my 4 other siblings are probably killing each other." She shrugs

"But I'll make a deal to you, I'll delete all the stuff I have if you and Jace answer some questions for me." She says

I look at Jace and back at her "What type of question?"

"Did you and Jace break up because of someone?" She asked as her 50th question

So far for the last 5 minutes Helen has been coming up with questions about why we broke up

Even though we couldn't really tell her why

"No, for the last time me and Jace broke up cause it was for the best." I said groaning

"Everyone says that and it's not true, come one tell me why?" She wines

"Were telling the truth." Jace says annoyed

"I give up." She sighs rolling her eyes

She then actually shows us her deleting the videos and pictures

I breath in relief "Thank you so much."

"Ok but before I go quick question," she adds

"Sure why not." Jace says

"When you and Jace were still dating did you guys do it-"

We didn't let her finish the question "Oh no, adiós amigo." Jace says going to end it

"Wait follow me on insta-"

Jace ended it

"Ok that was weird.." I stated

"Yeah it was, but we both learned our lesson." He chuckles

"You learned your lesson." I corrected him

"You went along with it," He says

I playfully roll my eyes at him and chuckle

He smiled faded for a second "Umm, I just wanted to I know it was my fault for the break up and I just wanted to say I'm sorry, you were truly the best girlfriend ever."

I softly smiled at him "It ok I enjoyed us dating you were the first and best boyfriend I ever dated."

We just started smile and somehow our faces are really close

"Hey are you guys done talking to Helen- whoa were we interrupting something?" Sean and Ella walked back into the living room

Jace cleared his throat "No, um we were just talking."

I scratch the back of my neck and my face was kinda warm "Um yeah we just finished talking to her."

"The question she was asking you guys were too weird for me." Ella says

"Same." Sean laughs

My phone buzzes and it was a text from my mom "Oh my mom is outside." I said getting up

"Well bye Riele." Ella gives me goodbye hug so does Sean

"Bye Riele." Jace gets up to give me a hug

We let go of the hug and smile at each other "Bye."

I left Jace house and got into my moms car

"I got you some 5 guys." She greeted me in the car with a bag of fries and a burger

"This is why your the best mom." I smiled at her eating a fry

My phone buzzed and it was Ella who sended me a message

El🤢❣️: didn't you have fun today 😂

Riele: my mom got me 5 guys so it was fun

El🤢❣️: smh 🤦🏼‍♀️

I noticed a picture that I sended of me and Jace from a lil while ago

I smiled cause I remember asking her if I should put a heart over my face or not before posting it

It's crazy how half of my camera roll is me and Jace or just Jace

And I'm not going to delete any of them

I haven't published a chapter that had more then 3,000 words in a while 😂

So thanks to @Lazy_Helen for wanting to be in my book after winning the contest

*everyone forgot what contest cause I posted about it 1/2 months ago and now I'm finally writing bout it*

boi who in there right damn minds decided it would be nice to make kids sit in a class for 4 hours just to take a science test with 106 questions then the next day for us to take a 2 hour math test with 60 questions!!!!!!
