My girlfriend and I have been talking about getting matching tattoos for a while now and we were thinking that it'll be our initials.

Jayla and I were watching a YouTube video when I suddenly had the urge and said "babe let's get our initials tattooed" Jayla looked surprised to hear that "what?"

"yeah, let's get our initials tattooed, I mean, we've been talking about it for weeks now, and to be honest, I think I'm ready" "y/n where is this coming from?" She chuckled and I shrugged.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" she asked and I nodded "now come on let's go before I change my mind" I said grabbing her hand "alright alright let me get my car keys"

We reached the tattoo place Jayla and her dad always go to and got in "you still wanna do this?" She asked and I nodded.

We got into the room and saw Jayla's tattoo artist "hey guys, what are you doing here?" "getting a tattoo" Jayla said excited "ooo What are you getting now Walton"

"Y/n and I are getting our initials tattooed on the side of our hands so when we're holding hands our initials are going to be next to each other" she explained.

"Wait Y/n you're getting a tattoo?" he asked surprised and I nodded "okay get ready for the pain" I looked at my girlfriend with fear filling my eyes "don't worry sweetheart he's joking"

Jayla decided to go first since she wanted to give me more time in case I change my mind and do not want to do this, but I did.

It was my turn, and I sat on the chair, looking at my girlfriend, Jayla smiled and held my free hand "don't worry bubs I'm here"

20 minutes later and he was done "Alright Y/n look at your first ever tattoo, I hope you like it" I turned my hand and looked at the letters J.W. and felt an instant smile appear on my face "I love it!"

I looked at my girlfriend who had the same smile on her face let's see it together, he locked hands like how we usually do and smiled "it's perfect" I said happily "your perfect" Jayla said making me blush.

She giggled and brought my face closer to her and kissed me passionately "I love you Y/n" "I love you more Jayla"
