Jim's P.O.V

This town, this life, this girl, is the best thing that has ever happened to me!
I never ever thought I'd find somebody and who i would ever be super crazy about!
She's just so wonderful and amazing, I'm sorry if i keep talking to her but dude...
If you were me, you would know why.
I was laying in my bed, writing a poem for my dear Ariel.
I am kinda good at poetry but kinda not.
I kept on writing, wrinklig, writing, wrinkling..
Poetry is haaard!
I heard a knock and i responded with a come in, i saw my mom looked at her and asked "What?"
She gave me the letter and didn't say anything.
I opened the letter and read it..
"I don't want you to leave.."
My mom started crying, i got up and hugged her.
"Mom... I will come back. Please don't cry." I hug her tightly and she sniffs.
"I know you will, but i just don't want you to go." She put her head againts my shoulder and started crying even more.
I just kept hugging her, making her feel better. I put my head on her head and i kept thinking what am i gonna tell Ariel? :(

Ariel's P.O.V

I was spending the day with my daddy, because he misses the father daughter bonding.
I missed it too, he is fun to be with.
He gives me piggy back rides, yes i love piggy back rides.
He listens to me and plays with me.
I am such a kid, haha.
I heard the door bell, i assumed it was Jim and i made a sorry face to dad.
He waved his hand and let me go.
I rushed and opened the door
"Jim, sorry i can't hangout today, you see its-
"No, i need to talk to you. Just five minutes. Please its important."
I looked at my father and put one finger in the air and got out.
I crossed my arms and asked.
"What is it?"
Jim kept trying to say but he couldn't, i can tell because you know right?
"Jim? My love?" I asked and he sighed.
"Ariel... You know that I'm from the Army right? I'm a soilder.."
"Oh.. I forgot about that.. But yeah i do." I looked at him and he looked down.
"I got the letter today, i leave in the next 2 days for _____"
I looked down, not saying a word.
"Ariel, i-
I stopped him and hugged him so tightly.
"Please, please don't leave me." I said softly but weakly.
"Ariel, i will come back... I promise you. I just won't be here for a while.."
He said, i just crunched up and didn't say a word.
He played with my hair, calming me down..
How am i gonna survive without him..
"I will write you everyday, everysingle day I'm there. Okay baby?" He looked at me, wiped my tear with his thumb and smiled at me.
I sniffed and nodded, rubbing my eye.
I kissed him and whispered.
"I love you."
"I love you more." He kissed me deeply and i smiled.
"Well, i will talk to you tomorrow okay love?" He told me and i nodded.
"Bye Jim."
He left and i went inside and locked the door behind me.
"Whats wrong Ariel?" My dad instantly noticed.
"DID HE BREAK YOUR HEART?! I SWEAR I WILL STA-
"NO! Daddy, he didn't break up with me.. He is just leaving for a while.."
I looked down, played with my hair and fingers.
"What do you mean a while? Where's he going?"
I looked up, i can't help but tear..
"For.. Vietnam war." I said weakly and he got up and instantly hugged me.
"Oh Ariel.."
"Daddy, i don't want him to go.. What if something happens to him?!"
"He's a brave boy Ariel.."
"I know but..." i kept coughing and sniffing
"Shh... It's alright Ariel.."
I stayed quite and was just standing there.
I'm scared if something happens..
If i lost him, i don't know what I'd do.
