Two knights hold John's dad in place while a third takes his helmet off. John's dad is a bulky man with a slightly crooked nose. He has auburn hair, green eyes and lots of freckles. He has a short goatee that's almost more stubble than actual hair. 

Panel two, bottom half of page:

Eliza, watching from a bush on the edge of the forest, stares in horror. Sounds of metal hitting metal and metal hitting flesh echo through the forest, as do cries of pain.
