About 2 months after we saved ms.jens job

It was officially the friday before Thanksgiving break
Me and e.j still haven't established what was happening yet beetween me and him

Ricky and nini sang before getting cut off by the bell ringing and e.j screaming

" yes yes whoooo " e.j yelled " sorry guys I just really love thanks giving "

Evryone laughed along

" ok ok hold on " ms.jen stood up " I know everyone's exited about the break but I'm me and I have notes ,ricky and nini that was good but it could be better... she said in the spirit of holiday cheer "

I grabbed my bag and started packing up

" your homework over this break is to please go on vocal rest....and go over your lines too, which is hard to do on vocal rest " ms. Jen adds " and remember may nothing ever block your doorway to happiness "

All of a sudden Mr.mazzara walks through the door

" ok starting now " ms.jen adds

" oh dont mind me I just came to return two missing items " mr. Mazzara starts " ashlynn , julianna we can not have our robotics team co captains go home without there binders over the break " mr.mazzara says handing us bolth our binders

" oh thanks I was looking for that " I say putting it in my bag

" your the robotics team co captain? " e.j asks surprized

" uh yeah I'm not just a theatere nerd " I say walking towards carlos , ashlynn and big red

" hey whatcha guys talking about ?" I ask

" just how all of our family's fall asleep on Thanksgiving " carlos says

" or in my case how they told me and e.j to go to the movies " ashlynn adds

" atleast your family sleeps my family just keeps having children so I have to hang out with my little cousins the whole time " I say

" that's not so bad " ashlynn says

" you say that now until you see the one who sucks jello up his nose ..." I say

" wait I just had the best idea " ashlynn says

" that we all ditch our family's and go to Vegas for the night?" I say out of pocket

" no i was gunna say do you guys wanna come over after dinner tomorrow, like late night party " ashlynn explains

" um I never dont want that " carlos replies

" wait should we just keep it to a small group or- " big red gets cut off

" party at ashlynn house tomarrow after dinner evryone's invited " carlos says

Mid day thanks giving

I just had gotten dressed and went downstairs when I heard the door bell ring

" I'll get that " dad says opening the door

He comes back inside with a brown paper bag

" please tell me that's dinner " I begged

" matter a fact it is ..hot wings and instant mash potatoes " dad adds

I mean it's not traditional but it's still family

" can you go get your brother?" He asks

" yup" I replied " RICKY COME DOWN TO EAT!!!"

My dad gives me a look as to say " really?"

Once we all sit down we start to eat

" this is nice dad" ricky says

" yeah you dont see alot of hot wings and instant potatoes in the history books" dad replies " we should bring leftovers to aunt Judy's house "

" um actually some of our freinds are getting together for sorta a late night party thing" I say

" and when you mean late night you mean?" Dad asks

" around 8:30 we roll hard " ricky adds

" is this theatere gang" dad says mockingly

" uh duh who else?" I say sarcastically

" eh it's fine you too will just stay back when I head to my sisters " dad adds

"I mean I suppose if your lonely you can just randomly text our drama teacher " I say

" too soon lil j " dad says playfully

" hey I told you to never bring that up again " I say throwing out my paper plate

" so have you guys called your mom yet ?" Our dad asks

" i did .. I just needed some advice from her but I mean we still talked " I said

Me and my mom only talked once since she left but it was for girl advice that i just needed

" why didnt you just come to me " my dad asked

" it was about a boy " i said turning around knowing i would blush just thinking about e.j

" didnt i say no dating till your 42 " my dad said sarcastically

" please ricky had his first girlfriend when he was 12 " i said

We laughed it off but then my dad asked ricky

" how about you bud , have you ?"

" working up to it " Ricky replied

" I know its hard doing the holidays without her but shes all alone I'm Chicago she misses you guys " dad says trying to convince ricky

" well I promised ashlynn I would get some things for her before the party so I will see you at the party " I said pointing to ricky
"And you here afterwards " I said pointing to my dad

I walked out of the house and went to the market just around the corner
And got some things from there and headed over to ashlynn

Once I made it there I wrang the doorbell with my foot because my hands were completely full

Big red opens the door

" woah dude why so much " big red asks grabing some of the bags

" well ashlynn said a few things and you know me I'm an impulse buyer so I just bought alot of things " I say unloading the bags onto the counter

" well love the generosity " ashlynn says

After about an hour of setting up and waiting people eventually started to show up

" were going oldschool make some memories people " ashlynn says placing down two different poloroid cameras

" the party may begin" carlos says bringing in a giant what looks like a pizza box over his head

" woah carlos you know it's a potluck and not catering right ?" I ask while holding the other end of the box

" this is not food " carlos states

" oh good I thought it was pizza ...too much lactose "big red says oversharing a bit

Carlos open the box to reveal a big board game

" what is this ??" I squeal

" this is something I've been waiting many many years to share with the world you guys this us high school musical THE CHOOSICAL " he says enthusiastically

" the what now " ashlynn says

" ok so when I was a child I wanted to go into the movie but the movie was on a screen " carlos states

" he's not wrong " seb says

"So I decided to the next best thing an interactive hyperactive hsm experience that can be played by children and adults everywhere in the world as long as they lived in my bedroom " carlos says making evryone laugh

" wait so you've kept this beutiful treasure from the world for 10 years ?" I say

" and I've never actually played it " he states

" ok well totally play it !!" Ashlyn says exited

" ok so there are two teams the east high wildcats and the west high knights so sort yourselves " carlos says pulling two toys put of his pocket and placing them on the table

I went over to the east high side and sat on the floor infront of the table

" wait before we start let's wait for everyone to get here " I said

" ugh fine but I'm only so patient " carlos said

I got out of my car lobster dip in hand

I walked up to the door wrung the doorbell then came inside

" hello hello " I made an introduction

" heyyy" ashlynn said coming out of the kitchen

" I brought some lobster dip and some 40year balsamic " I said giving my cousin a hug "I also double dipped in there a few times I feel bad about doing it but great about telling you " I said handing her the dip and bottle

" hi I'm ashlynn and you are???" Ashlynn said sarcastically

" on a mission ash" I said taking off my coat

I then walked over to the main foyer and pulled back out my phone

" hey emily you still there ?" I asked emily pratt the girl who I kinda slipped a bad devil egg to just to get nini the lead in the play at camp

" e.j I promised my grandma I would sing for everyone after dinner so i have to go " she warns me

" yeah hang on just one second i just gotta find nini " i say trying to stall

Luckily that wasn't for long as nini walked up right as i said that

" hey" nini said recognizing that I just said her name

I flipped the phone towards her

" oh my gosh emily " nini said shocked

" no it's ok I told her everything she knows about the deviled egg" I say reassuring her " I'm trying to make amends these days nini and she was fine with everything, she laughed " I whispered to nini

" uh this is alot at once " nini says

" hey I gotta go join the party and admit some terrible things you two catch up" I say handing her my phone

I walk over to the rest of the party

" woah what is this whole mess " I say sitting next to jules

" do not disrespect my game " carlos says

" ok then sorry " I say putting my hands up in defense

" it's a high school musical game he made when he was a kid " jules explains

" yeah so just pick a team and wildcats or the west high nights " carlos says

" once a wild cat always a wildcat " I say making jules and everyone else laugh

Ok am I crazy or did he just read my mind

Once everyone got here ashlynn and everyone else sorted themselves we do a coin toss

" ok guys settle down settle down , there are four categories . The getcha head in the frame trivia challenge , the bop till you drop dance challenge, sync to the status quo lip sync challenge and looking for glee.. whitch I thought would be a fun name for the singing challenge because when I was a kid I was obsessed with the show " carlos sums up the game in about 5 seconds top

" hey it still holds up " me and e.j say sync then looking back at each other

" oh good I thought you guys would judge me " carlos says happily " ok nights since you guys won the coin toss you guys get to pick the first challenge "
They all start conspiring and they finally pick the

"We choose looking for glee" ricky says

" excellent " carlos says pulling a card from the deck " ok so as fast as you can please sing lyrics to what I've been looking for the the melody of getcha head in the game...go"

They all start trying to figure it out

" that was horrible " I say laughing so hard I'm almost in tears

" congratulations you get to move 4 spaces closer to center stage at east high " carlos says

" wait they 4 spaces for that ?" E.j says sounding so offended

" ok wildcats take a spin " carlos says

I spin the what I think is from the life game spinner

I then conspire with the rest of my team

" alright were gunna bop" e.j says

" ok pick 1 member from each team " carlos instructs

We all agree on e.j ...ok it was more like me just saying over again until someone else heard me but it's still fair

And It looks like the other team chose ...ricky
Oh god

They bolth stand up and face each other

" your challenge is to stare at you partner and do the sharpay and ryan warmup without laughing....or killing each other " carlos explains " ok ....go"

They start doing the warmup and I immediately start cracking up

After we all calm down a little after whatever that was nini stands up

" hey I'm going into the kitchen does anyone want anything?" She asks

" yeah can you get me a rootbeer?" I say

" ok" she walks into the kitchen with gina following after

After about 20 minutes of playing Carlos' chaos game

"Okkk people , according to the musical choosical's hand book of rulesicals " carlos says making evryone laugh

" stop it" e.j says shaking his head in pure disappoint

"The only way to resolve a tie at the end of regulation play is with the lightning speed round of GETCHA HEAD IN THE FRAME TRIVIA QUESTIONS" carlos says holding up a bunch of the cars in his hands " are you ready because people have been know to cry during this "

" wait I thought u said you never played " seb says

" please honey not tonight of all nights " carlos says making us laugh

" ok here we go , name bolth Jersey numbers that troy wheres in the original movie" carlos says

" oh uh 14 and 10 " big red says

" wait how did you know that I didn't even know that " ashlynn says

" correct, ok how does Gabriella describe herself when shes complaining to her mom"

" uh the school's freaky genius girl" ashlynn says quickly

" and do people usually talk like that ?"

" no they do not " she says shaking Her head and laughing

" correct, wildcats who's red tie does mrs.darbess complement at auditions?"

" uhhhhhh" evryone on our team says

" uh alen? " e.j says

" what how did you even know that?" I chuckle

" yes, " carlos says

" I looked it up on my phone you guys I cant stop lying I'm sorry" he says holding up his phone

Evryone all sighs disappointed

" atleast he came clean about it " I say

" welp the west high nights have a chance to steal , what is the name of the girl who likes to pop, lock ,jam and break ?"

" I like to pop and lock and jam and break" gina says then poping and locking jamming and breaking " Martha cox"

" the west high nights win" carlos says pulling confetti out of his pocket

" nooooooooooo" I say dramatically fake crying

" you my dear get this homemade scholastic decathlon ribbon, careful it's just a stray pin and was never sanitized " carlos says trying to put the pin on Gina's shirt

" wait ok everybody get in" gina says holding up her phone

Me and e.j go behind the couch to get int ok the picture he puts his arm around my shoulder

Aaaaaaa in screaming on the inside

After she takes the picture we go and sit back down

" ok hold on I need to share this honor with my loved ones " she looks down at her phone

" ok well ya gotta stop moving this is the price we pay for beauty " carlos says still trying to get the pin on

Gina calls her mom

" ok mommommom 2 things 1 I was just. Crowned queen of crazy town and 2 um can I spend the night at ashlynn house ?" She says making evryone laugh
" ok sorry mom I cant hear you I'm putting you on speaker , say happy thanks giving to my mom evryone " she says holding out her phone

" happy Thanksgiving " evryone shouts at the phone

" oh same to all of you , um gina honey can you take me off speaker " Gina's mom says through the phone

Gina takes the phone off speaker and the room goes silent

" ok let me clean this up " carlos says picking up the pieces

" um I'm actually getting pretty tired so I'm gunna head home ...ricky you coming with? I ask

" nah I'm gunna stay back for a bit .but I'll see you at home " he says

" ok well evryone have a great rest of your thanks giving break , bye" I say standing up and grabing my purse

" let me walk you out " e.j says following me out of the door

After he closes the door behind him we start walking

" thanks for walking with me you really didn't have to do that " I say

" yeah I know but I kinda have to get home too so I thought I would walk you anyways , ya know I gotta rehearse my lines while also being on vocal rest just as ms. Jen instructed " he said making me chuckle

" yeah shes an amazing teacher but she can be a little confusing" I say putting my hand in my pocket

We walk and laugh some more until me get to my house

" well where here" he says

" yup , and the last time we were here we kinda-" I say getting cut off

" yeah still kinda figuring that out " he says

" well just tell me when you do because I can handle waiting " I say looking up at him

" yeah , ok goodnight " he says walking away from the door

I see my dad sitting on the couch

" hey kiddo how was the party - you ok? "My dad asks

" I really don't wanna talk about it " I say running up to my room
