Ahhhh yes Friday I made it into my first week of school without any problems

I had an amazing day at school and at robotics club

We were just finishing up rehearsals and about to go home when ms.jen came in with a big box

"Evryone circle up !" She says sitting down and opening the box

" here we have a very precious artifact from the original high school musical " ms jen says as evryone gasps in amazement

She pulls out a .... idk what that is

" is that a garage door opener ?" Sebby says

" no its vanessa Hudgens phone " ms jen says handing the phone to nini

" ok evryone let's finish up rehearsal so you guys can get your full nights rest we have a big rehearsal tomarrow" ms jen says

After we finish up I tried to talk to gina but she seemed a little tense

I suddenly got chills her aura felt off normally I would stay out of this but I'm nosey and shes my freind .

" hey Ricky you coming ?" I ask

" unum I'll um catch up" he says

Why is evryone acting so weird ???

Once I get outside I see ashlynn getting out of ejs car seeming angry

I run up to her concerned

" hey ash what's up with ej why aren't you catching a ride with him?" I ask

" hey , um well ejs just making a big mistake and I dont wanna get involved " ashlynn says

" well you want me to walk you home ? We can talk about it so it's not weighting you down " I politely offer

Ik its e.js drama but mabye this is why everyone s acting weird + ashlynn is always helping me get stress off me so why not help her

" sure I would love that but if were gunna talk about this you have to promise not to tell anyone and I mean anyone " ashlynn says

" ok I promise" I say as we start walking

" well it all started with e.j and nini they were at the read through and nini got a text from someone ej got a little jealous but when ms.jen decided to add a kiss beetween troy and Gabriella " she say putting air quotes while says troy and Gabriella " he got almost furious he soon asked me to steal ninis phone and I obviously said no , but just a few minutes ago I found out ej had stolen her phone anyways . And why I was so mad when I got out of his car was because Ricky called ninis phone and I told him not to listen to the voice mail but hes e.j and he dosent care so" she finishes what she was saying as we walk into her drive way

" that's why hes my enemy...no offense" I say to ash walking her to the door

" none taken , I can see why " she chuckles

" ok well I'll see you tomarrow ash goodnight " I say waving bye

" bye"

I walk myself home

The next morning

I woke up feeling refreshed I walk downstairs and see my dad attempting to make breakfast

" hey kiddo want some breakfast ?" My dad says holding up a solid block of hardness

" mmm what is it?" I say disscussted

" ummm I think it's eggs??"

" I'll pass thanks " I say getting up from my chair

" I gotta go get ready for rehearsal so I'll be upstairs " I go upstairs and take a shower b4 ricky gets up

I get changed into this outfit

After I got I ready I saw ricky was already dressed

" ricky you ready to go ?" I ask

" this early?" He says

"Uh yeah, the early bird catches the worm " I say opening the door

" yeah no thanks I'll be right on time " he says

" ok suit yourself , byeeeeee" I say walking out of the door

The weather was just perfect the leavee were falling off the trees perfectly crunchy the wind was crisp and there was the smell of pumpkin spice lattes in the air

Once I arrived at the school I was just gunna sit outside and read but when I got there I saw someone was pulling up

It was ms.jen

" oh hey miss jen I wasn't expecting anyone " I say as another car pulls up

" oh jules you aren't supposed to be here yet we still have an hour and a half " ms jen says as gina gets out of her moms car

" I know but the early bird catches the worm ...plus my dad burnt breakfast and I just needed to get out of that so" I say waving to gina

" hey jules why are you here?" Gina says

" dad burnt my breakfast .wait but why are you two here ?" I ask

Gina nods " oh i scheduled a early rehearsal with nini and ms.jen to go over a new dance break in status quo . Speaking of nini where is she " gina asks

" idk , but if anything I can help you rehearse " I offer

" well that is very generous of you now let's get inside it its freezing out here " ms.jen says proceeding to speed walk inside

Once we get inside the rehearsal room we all put down our stuff and me and gina stretch

About 10 minutes pass by

" ok girls well until nini gets here gina can you show jules the dance break so we can do this rehearsal " ms jen says

" yeah ofcourse , ok so it's gunna be a simple triple pirouette " she says demonstrating

" and then inward little isolation "
I follow her lead " then some Argentine tango"

" ok I see you ms talent " I say

" aw thanks, ok now this is where you kick behind your head , and if your not flexible enough that's fine too "

" me not flexible ...cmon now have you seen me " I say dropping into the splits

" wow talking about me being talented look at you , ok now for part two .. theres not a name for this persay but I call it the deathwack"
She does the " deathwack " and lands in the splits

" ok that looks easy enough " I say chuckling

Shes acting fine now but what was up with her yesterday theres something weird going on

" ok so that but you start on the left " she says

" that was great girls one more time then with music and props " ms.jen says

She counts us down and me and gina are unstoppable

After we did it with music evryone starting arriving still no sign of nini though I hope ej returned her phone and shes ok

" has anyone seen nini ??" Ms.jen shouts among the crowd

Evryone said no

" ok ppl in the stick to the status quo number get into places , and jules will be filling in for nini on this part " ms.jen says

We all get into places

the music starts playing and everyone starts dancing , the sttsq dance break is coming I can feel my heart racing with excitement
Me and gina walk out on opposite sides and start doing the dance break

We end in our splits evryone claps

" you did so good gina " I say excitedly

" oh please call me g that's what some of my old freinds called me and it kinda stuck " she says

I smile and nod " good to know...g"

" evryone hold , nini where were you we've been here for an hour " ms jen says

" sorry I lost my phone and basically spent last night living like a hunter gatherer btw did you know that there are things that are only on tv at a certain time Anyways I finally picked it up at the lost and found and- wait did you say an hour " nini says ranting on about the phone that EJ stole

" gina sent you and me a text saying if we could come in early so we could rehearse a new idea, you didnt get it?" Ms.jen asks

"No because my phone was missing " nini says

" well honey you need to keep track of your stuff a real triple threat is singing acting and being organized " ms.jen says

" ok.." nini says

At this point I stop listening and just see Ricky walking over to nini

I sit down next to ej

" why are you sitting here ?" He asks with a snotty attitude

" am I not aloud to sit? " I ask

" you are but why next to me " he says

" bc this is where I wanna sit down" I say opening my water bottle

After rehearsal was over nini invited me over she offered to drive me but I liked the breeze while I was walking there I stopped at Starbucks and got me kourtney and nini some pumpkin spice lattes

I knock on ninis front door mama Carol one of ninis moms opens the door for me

" hey jules ninis up In Her room with kourtney " she says

" ok thanks " I walk up the stairs and open the door with my one free hand

" heyyy I brought drinks " I say

I hand them there drinks and sit on ninis bed

" so nini said you needed to talk " kourtney says

" ok so heres the deal are you sitting down excellent it seems like gina really wants my part in the show and is basically willing to KILL ME to get it " nini says

" I could've told you that days ago .. oh wait I did " kourtney says in a " you should've listened " tone

" ok now normally I would say something like no way I could be gina shes nice but shes been acting strange lately so I'll hear you out" I say putting down my drink

" but now I think shes stealing phones ..well my phone and coming up with new ways to hurt myself sooo heres what i have" she says pulling up a power point slide on her i pad

" omg what are we in the fith grade " kourtney says

I chuckle

" not the point so the way I see it I can do 1 of 6 things
.1 talk to ms.jen
.2 magically learn the dance
.3 have my moms yell at her mom
.4 quit the show
.5 eat so much ice cream
Orrrr
.6 steal something back "

" yeah that's a no on 2, 4 and 6 " I say

" why " nini whines

" tell um kourt" I say

" because yah cant yah not and that's an act of war " kourt says

"Too late "nini says pulling out Gina's sneakers

" NINI!!" Me and kourtney say in unison

" I thought you guys would settle on the ice cream " nini says

" you need to return those " I say
" but first I needa take them for a spin" I say slipping off my sneakers

" your not taking anything for a spin jules. Now nini your gunna return those on monday" kourtney says in a stirn voice

After school on monday

" hey nini what we doing " I whisper sneaking up on her behind the outfit rack in the costume department

She puts her finger over her mouth in a shhh position

I nod and look through the rack I see gina and Emily one of our costume designers( yes I made her up)

" wait are these the new dance break in status quo?" Gina says in awe

Emily nods

" highkey love them who's Is who's " gina asks emily

" Gabriella, taylor" Emily says pointing to each

" ok mine is evrything...but for Gabriella you may wanna put her in a color that pops a little more shes already kinda bland .....not as a person sweetest girl in the world but as an actress " wow I cant believe gina said that I guess she really was jealous

We bolth look at each other as they walk out of the room

" nini I'm sorry , dont listen to her your a great actress " I say

" I wont ... hey you wanna come over again ?" Nini asks me

" actually I was gunna go over ashlynn house because we have some av quiz to study for so I cant but have fun " I say walking out of the room
I walk over to ashlynn who is about to walk home

" hey ash can I come over and study with you
" I ask walking with her

" yeah but e.j is coming over for a little but if you dont mind him then sure " she says

" I mean I didnt get much argument in with him today so I need a little fuel in my fire anyway " I say chuckling

She snickers as we walk to her house

In ashlynns kitchen

We were studying for about an hour I was sitting at the kitchen table when I hear I knock at the door

" I'm in the kitchen e.j" ashlynn says

He walks into the kitchen

" Uncle Dennis and aunt debbie aren't home right I dont want an audience for this " ej say

I close my text book " nope but I am "

" why is she here ?" Ej asks

" because shes studying for the av test with me " ashlynn explains

" I'm not performing this song with her around " ej complains

" wait what song?" I ask

" why should I tell you? " he asks

" because I'm not leaving and I'm curious " I say walking towards the kitchen island where e.j and ash are

" fine it's for nini " e.j

" ohhhh is this because you took her phone? " I say

" who told you?!!!" E.j says in a panic

" ok so I might've told her but she swore she wouldn't tell anyone about it " ashlynn says

" and you trusted her????" E.j says

" hey!!!, yes she did I promised her and when I make a promise I keep it ... I may not like you very much but I keep my promises one way or another " I say

" I guess that's cool of you bowen" e.j says

" dont call me that " I say stirning up my voice

Ej starts to play the music track

Before you go and make that face you make when your mad at me soooo mad at lemme say it's not my place going through your voicemail and your history and if this were a tv show you know I'd gave to go complete insanity

Ej jumps off the counter and starts to hop around

Because the spying and crying really isnt my personality IM AN IDIOT FOR TAKEING YOUR PHONE . This is my fault my bad if I said a million sorrys how about a billon sorrys soooooooo
You shine just stars and I'm not even s night light cause what I did wasn't so bright I'm really sorry ..

You know I was scared that this would end
This has been so hard to keep this secret from you and your freinds

Honestly i could tell he was sorry was i completely over the fact that he stole her phone ...no but he was sorry

But given the chance i would definitely do it again..... wait that's not right...... i wouldn't do it again NoOOoOooOo this is my fault my bad if I said a million sorryschow about a billon sorrys

The track ends and ashlynn seems unimpressed

" okkk" ashlynn says

" did ya like it ?" Ej says

" I was gunna say it was pretty good but okkk" I say taking a sip of my water

" theres alot to admire " ashlynn says

" it's too much isnt it " ej says disappointed

" I was just hoping it would feel less boy band and more heartfelt .... maybe if you tweaked some lyrics that rhyme with sorry " ashlynn says

" yeah like stary " I say

" shhhhh" ej exclaimed

Did he just shush me ..... what a child

" your right ash this is her thing with Ricky I'm just gunna straight up apologize " ej says as he takes his phone

" she might forgive you" I say

" would you???" He says looking back at me

I look down at my feet

" exactly " he saying walking out of the house

The next day

After ashlynn's house I went home

It's now after school at rehearsal

It's just me ,ej ,ricky , ( other theatere ppl)

I don't want be hear right now its just that it was either walk again and be sore or ride here with ricky for his early rehearsal

I sit on the piano chair and watch the rehearsal

" ok let's take it from the top and remember these two boys are best bros witch is a sacred for reasons I will never understand " ms jen says

" we had a meeting how we haven't been acting like a team .... us not you .the singing thing" ej says

" I dont wanna talk about it " Ricky says stiff as a stick

"We just want you to know that were gonna be there cheering for you" ej says

" huh" ricky is so stiff with his acting last week at the read through he was really good tho what is happening

" win or lose were teammates..." ej says punching ricky in the arm
" even if you turn out to be the worst singer in the world "

" and your not gunna hear me sing....dudes because Gabriella wont even talk to me and I don't know why" ricky says ending the scene off

" ok that was ok but it was a little stiff solets loosen up pass some energy back and forth using the ball.... and improvise"
Ms.jen says

" just say whatever?" Ej asks

" chad it up" ms.jen say trying to be cool "

I watch the ball go back and fourth the whole time

E:"the way you pretend to play basket ball is really inspiring "

Ej throws the ball harder and more directly at ricky

R: "thanks , Chad and the way you can dance is totally normal for a high school kid "

E: you deserve evrything that's coming your way

I hear the snap of the ball hitting there hands let's hope no one kills anyone

E:"back atcha times 2 "

I see the ball hit e.j in the nose

" okkk major overcorrect" ms jen says
" ej hunny let's get you to the nurse... jules sweetie can you bring him to the nurse heres the key "

She hands me the key as me and ej walk out mr mazzara walks in

Ej puts his head down and walks

" put ur head up doofus " I say in a playful manner trying to make him not as mad

.....ew why am I trying to do that ewwwwwwww

" I knew that " he says tilting it upwards slightly

I unlock the door and get ice out of the freezer

" Put this on your lip and keep your head up while I go get my bag " I say handing him the ice pack

" why do you need your bag?" He says

" because if you dont want blood on your shirt I need to get my tide pen " I say walking out of the room

I come back with my bag

" heres the tide pen now go into the bathroom and rinse the blood in cold water and after try and dry it with a paper towel as much as you can the put the pen on it and that should come right out " I say handing him the pen

" thanks " ej says taking the pen and going into the bathroom

When his hand touched mine I felt something like when I get a pit in my stomach before I go on stage .... wait.... did I just get butterfly's....no no no. This is ninis boyfriend I cant feel this way feelings shut off

Ej comes out of the bathroom

" well it worked " ej says

" cool let's get outta here and get back to rehearsal " I say grabbing my bag and following ej out of the room

" why do you care so much?"e.j asks me

" about what ?" I said

" about the stupid blood stain " he explained

" oh I just felt bad because of ricky " I said trying to cover what I was feeling

" oh ok" he said as we walked back into the theater room

" evryone let's rehearse status quo vocals " carlos said choking up

" you ok? Carlos" I ask

" yeah I'm fine" he says sitting at the piano " ok 5678"

We all start singing in harmony while seb plays the piano

" hey nini ....what's with the trash bag ?" I ask walking up to her

" ummm well after you left yesterday I kinda stole Gina's water bottle and then kourtney stole alot more of her stuff " nini says opening the trash bag

" ...." I'm speechless

" can you please come with me she cant kill me if theres a witness " nini begs

" fine but only because I wanna see how this goes down " I agree as we walk into the design studio thingy ( I forgot what its called)

" hey gina do you have a second ?" Nini politely asks

" that's all I have" gina says

" I just wanna say idk what happened with my phone and I dont care anymore and I know you dont like me very much and I'm ok with that but we have to find a way to respect each other and I know that starts with me " nini says hesitantly

" ok..." gina says

" soooo when I thought you stole my phone a may have gone a little crazy and then You said something mean and I might have gone extra crazy point is I've come into possession of a few of your things and I would like to return them to you " nini says then pouring out the bag of stuff she has

" just so you know I had nothing to do with this " I say

" wow" gina says unamused

" it was kind of a work out getting it all here I dont know how you walk around with all of this stuff ... you must be freakishly strong " nini says " but that's beside the point "

" what is the point?" Gina says standing up

" I'm not gunna be a door mat for you ..... I'm also not gunna be a clepto ... so we can all just stay in our lane " nini says trying to clear the air " umm ok I hope you enjoy having your randomly heavy stuff back .. umm I'll see you back at rehearsal " nini turns around and is about to walk put with me when

" just one thing before you go I didnt have your phone " gina says

Me and nini walk. Out of school

" nini wait up! wait up!"me and nini turn around

" I have to say somthing to you ....I know were not a couple anymore I get that it's been very clear I thought there was a little trust left beetweem us I thought I still ment something to you " ricky says trying to get to his point

" I cant do this right now ricky" nini says

" fine but the next time I pour my heart out in a voicemail to you do me a favor and keep it to yourself ... I dont need to be hearing from ej that its wrong and stupid "

"Wait what voicmail" nini said confused

" you heard this from e.j??? " ok I know I said the feeling were over earlier but hearing that he listened to the voice mail I'm actually done
