**Kaito let out a laugh, his voice a haunting whisper.**
"I know you like to drink coffee every morning. I know you bite your lip unconsciously when you're deep in thought. I even know the dreams you've had... I know everything about you. And you know what? You don't need anyone else but me."

Shinichi held his breath as Kaito gently brushed his hair back, eyes filled with obsession-as if he were admiring a priceless masterpiece.

"You won't escape, Shinichi." Kaito smiled softly, bringing his other hand to his lips and biting his fingertip as though pondering something dark. "If you keep trying to run away... I'll have to do things even you can't imagine."

His finger slid down to Shinichi's neck, pausing right above the fast-beating artery.
"Maybe I should lock you up? Or... leave a mark so you'll never forget me?"

Shinichi felt his heart tighten when he saw the madness flickering in Kaito's gaze. He realized-this time, he really couldn't escape from him anymore.

Kaito finally left, but not before planting a gentle, threatening kiss on Shinichi's forehead. The door shut behind him, locked tightly from the outside.

Shinichi held his breath.
This was his only chance.

He quickly scanned the room, desperately looking for a way to free himself. His eyes stopped at the knife Kaito had left on the table.
If he could just reach it...

Biting his lip, Shinichi leaned forward-bit by bit-until his fingertips brushed the cold steel. He gripped it, using all his strength to cut through the ropes.

They began to loosen. His heart pounded wildly. He didn't have much time.

Finally, his hands were free. Without hesitation, he cut the ties around his ankles and lunged for the door.

The moment he unlocked it, his breath caught in his throat.
Kaito could return at any moment.

"I have to get out of here... now."

And then-Shinichi flung the door open and dashed outside, panting hard.
But he didn't know\...
From deep within the shadows, a pair of violet eyes had been watching him all along.
A smirk slowly curved across Kaito's lips.

"You really think you can escape me, Shinichi...?"

Under the suffocating darkness, Kaito stepped out from the hidden corner, the smile on his face deepening as he watched Shinichi's panicked figure stumble down the long hallway.
The sound of Shinichi's rushed footsteps echoed, but there was one thing he hadn't realized-every exit had already been sealed by Kaito.

"You think you're so clever, Shinichi?"
That familiar voice echoed right behind him, freezing Shinichi in place.

He whipped around, heart slamming in his chest.
Kaito was slowly approaching-like a predator savoring the despair of his prey.

"I have to run-!"
The thought barely formed when Shinichi spun around to flee, but he only managed a few steps before a strong arm wrapped tightly around his waist, yanking him into a firm chest.

"I told you, didn't I?" Kaito's breath ghosted over his ear, thick with danger.
