As the sun sets, the empty Harret village laid dormant.  Tiny, dark outlines coming from the sea. Villagers of the Twin Stars struggle to find a way around the rivers as they escape. Kalore Neinmenth is mourning in respect of Prince Charlien's death. The king is crying for he, lost his son. Samo is quiet yet for one person. Vie Hano bursting in rushed preparation of their new guests. And something is off.

Neither the archer and her companion is at Harret Village. The lone archer is at the Villages of the Twin Stars. She tries to convince the villagers who stayed to leave. "Please, you must go. These people will burn the village down, ravage the land, and would hang your bodies in defiance." Her worries compounded.

"In no way, we are leaving. My family is staying. We have...," One farmer replies. He is interrupted by a stranger who set the man's house on fire. "No! What are you doing!"

The stranger then kidnaps his son. And then ran off towards Harret Village. The Archer shot the stranger in the head. But the arrow bounced off. The farmer felt helpless as the stranger left his sight with the son. The Archer is determine to stop him. She chases the stranger on foot. It was then, the farmer realize the folly of his decision. 

The Archer manage to chase the stranger into the old lookout post. However it was not as she expected. The man dropped the boy off with a few other villagers. He told them to prepare to evacuate into safety. Then he turns toward the Archer. "I know what I did was wrong. But I couldn't bear to see someone like him to die there."

The Archer then sees the man look down in shame and run towards Harret Village. The Archer felt like following. The people she left, don't understand why she is chasing. But they led the boy into a small boat. He then climbed in. They wonder if the stranger will return.

The Archer chased and tackles the man in the outskirts of Harret village. Annoyed the man lifts himself and the Archer. "Would you please don't do that. I must check the village."

The Archer tries to slow him but he continues at the same pace that he's been traveling. He is literally dragging her. He is so determine to await the enemy at the other side of Harret village. After a while the Archer lets go and just follows the stranger closely.

Unknown to her, this stranger was a close, personal friend of Alto. A stranger from her homeland. A fellow Ellicausan whom is now far from home. And is here unknown to Alto and her allies, to stop this invasion. It is only a matter of time until the ships arrive. The man looks for a tree stump. The man stops as he reaches the location. Dark and terrible thoughts ran inside his head. The invaders will soon have someone to fear.
