I was getting ready for school. Boring old school. Nothing that interests me but art. All the other teachers just blab on, and on! I HATE going to Volby High. It is soooooo boring. But when I arrive, I find that there is a new student in homeroom.

"Class! Today we have a new student," Ms. Jusa clapped and gestured towards a smiling black haired girl. "Hi! My name is Erica, Erica Windfill to be exact! It's a pleasure to meet you all!" She smiled widely. "Erica, is there anything else that you would like to say about yourself?" Ms. Jusa smiled. "Yep! I like to go hiking, and I'm a total tomboy! I like school, and have a wonderful family. I'm an only child." Erica took a deep breath, and took a seat next to Jin.

She's cute. Stop it Jin! Don't talk to yourself! She's just a hyper noob! But she's hyper in a cute way, I can't believe she would sit next to me! Everyone thinks I'm a freak show! I need to make a good first impression! So I can at least have more than 2 friends this year! Dude, you're desperate... I mentally slap myself.

"Hey, I'm Jin. Nice to meet you!" I smile weakly. "Cool! Can I be your friend? So I can at least have 1 friend. Oh! Can I sit with you at lunch?! Wait, can I hang with you at recess? Can we do homework together? Oh! This will be so much fun!" She squealed.

Aww... Stop! You shouldn't be her friend, or else everyone will reject her. Even if they see me with her. They might ship us! Noooo! They might not want to talk to her! Then she'll leave, and I'll be all alone again... ;-; Dude, you're so overdramatic...

"Earth to Jin, Earth to Jin! I think we lost em'." Erica was waving her hand in front of my face, and giggling. "H-hey! I'm not gone!" I tried to add to the humor (I don't have any, in school at least) and she actually started giggling even more.

Wow, didn't think I could do that... She's so cute when she giggles... STOP, STOP, STOP!! What am I thinking, what is this... I call hacks! In NEVER make people laugh. Unless it's at me. Ugh, she's too new.

"Well, I have math next, you?" She stared at me.

"I-I ummm... Do too." I blushed beet red. I could feel everyone staring at me.

Time flew by in math and all the other classes I forgot, because I was doodling the entire time. Hey! Don't judge me! At lunch, Erica wanted to sit next to me. I only have 2 friends though, Todo, and Gene.

"Hey! Who's this? Nice to meet a pretty girl like you!" Todo reached out to shake Erica's hand. "Erica Windfill, nice to meet you. Your name is...?" She stared at Todo expectantly. "Umm, I'm Todo, and this is Gene?" He smiled slightly. Gene face-palmed. I could tell that this was going to be great.

---Time Skip to After Lunch (Cause I can! Come at me bro!)---

Oh. My. God. I just got partnered with Erica for a history project! And she wants to come to my house!

"It's official, you're coming to my house then!" I said a little too happily. "Cool! This is gonna be so fun!" She jumped up and down.
