"Just wetting your lips"

"Nandini yaar.. Stop it. " Manik catches another show piece which his wife throws in anger. 

"Why?? You bloody cheater.. " She yelled in anger and was about to pick another vasa nearby. 

But Manik rushed and hugged her from behind. 

"Nandini.... Please calm down. This much anger is not nice. " He said, kissing her side face. 

Nandini sighed and looked straight in anger, "But you are doing this again and again. I am. . " Unknowingly her eyes turned to tears which shocked Manik. 

"Hey.. Nandu.. Listen, why are you crying? " Manik asked in shock, turning her towards him. 

Her tears ache his heart, trying to whip it but she jerks it. 

"I am sorry I can understand.. I am... 

" No you can't.. You can't understand my situation. "She shouted, jerking his hands, which hurt him but he stood silently. 

" My life is already messed up, every single person has been lying to me for many years. I didn't know anything, our past life, you, your love, friendship and mostly about our baby... " Manik stood listening to it.

"I didn't even remember anything. "

"Now, I thought you won't lie to me. But this.. How much more are you hiding from me Manik? Please say, I can't take anymore secrets." She said in tears looking at him who just turned his foot and walked out leaving her in tears. 

She sat on the couch with a jerk, crying and hugging herself. 

Otherside, Manik looked at the sky, lying on his car bonnet. His tears began to release from his eyes but he refused. He was done crying, done being an emotional fool, begging all, waiting for others to love, Mostly done being weaker. 

Nandini words hit his mind which made him smile. 

Yeah she went through pain, hurt but what will she do if she even bears half of his life's pain. She might kill herself long back. 

He lived his life, why only for her?? 

Only for his love. 

Only for Nandini

His love for her even decreased, even his angry on her this many years never turned into hatred

Why because the love she had for him was something different. 

A love which kept him alive, which showed him why he needed to live this life. 

But that girl who he loves.. Never understood him before or now. 

He doesn't know how to show his love. 

He chuckled himself as usual thinking about his life.

Nandini woke up hearing a sound, sat straight when she realised she slept on the couch how she came on bed. 

then realised Manik might have done it. She sighed, walked inside the bathroom to get ready. 

She walked out drying her hair with a towel, when her head started hurting. 

"Ahh... Ayyappa this pain. " She yelled in pain, holding her head which started aching more. 

"Ahhh.. Manikk.. Manikkk... Ahh.. " She sat on the ground crying, holding her head. She cradled her bag which was on the couch. 

She took it with difficulty, holding her head. She dig in to see, but her medicine nowhere found

"Shit.. Where did it go??.. "

"Nan.. Nandini what happened?? " She turned to see Manik rushing to him. 

"Manik.. It's painful..my head.. " She cried holding his shirt. 

"Ok.. Come.. Let's go to the hospital.. " He said hurriedly, trying to pick her up. 

"No no.. I need my medicine Manik.. Please check my bag.. " She cried, hiding in his chest. He made her sit on the couch, rushed to her bags when his hands froze before opening it. 

Doctors words hit his mind, 

Flashback (when Nandini admitted in hospital after hearing flashback) 

'Manik, this medicine is erasing her memory and making her brain worse.  It may be dangerous for her health. You should stop this. It's like drugs, addiction.i having fear she is already addicted to it. "The doctor's words shocked him. 

"How to stop this doctor? You're telling she 's addicted to it. " Manik asked in tension. 

"You can. '' Manik frowned, "You can cure her. Because before this accident, that brain knows you. She knows your touch, feel, voice, everything. You should awaken her brain. Your love can cure her. Because love is the biggest medicine and poison too. " Doctor said, smiling , and walked away patting his back. 

Flashback end

Manik turned to Nandini who was crying and hugging her head. 

"Manikk.. Medicine. " She looked at him with tears eyes. He kneels down beside her. 

"Manikk.. "

"Shh... " He raised his head, kept on her head, pressed it slowly. Nandini looked at him in confusion. 

"I need my medicine.. Not this.. " She angrily jerked his hands. 

Manik glared at her, pulled her smashing his lips with her, taking her in shock. She first tried to push him but he held her head straight, kissed her with more strength. She melted down in it, leaning closer to him. 

His hands loosen, started pressing her head slowly. Nandini's eyes closed, feeling her pain less down. His lips left her which made her whin, but joined her forehead with him. 

"You don't need that fucking medicine anymore. You have me to heal you. " He said in his husky voice. She opened her eyes and looked into his eyes which were so red. 

"Repeat it, you don't need that fucking medicine. You need me.. " He said angrily, holding her neck harder. 

"Tell me.. " He yelled, making her flinch back. 

"I.. I don't.. Need medicine. I need you. " She stammered in fear. 

"Tell me again.. " He said in a husky voice leaning closer to her lips. 

"I need you.. Not that medicine. " She said looking at his lips which soon joined with hers, taking her pain away. Both lips moving in rhythm, passionately. 

Nandini glanced at her husband who massaged her head slowly.She was leaning on his chest playing touching her lips, hissing. 

"You shouldn't bite me next time. It hurts. " She said, looking at the mirror in front, examining her lips. 

Manik paused for a minute, took his hand in front to pull her lips.. 

"It seems like a small cut. I should make it big next time. " He said seriously, winking at her, making her roll eyes. 

He chuckled and massaged her head again. 

"Enough.. I am ok. " She said, holding his hands together above her stomach, leaning comfortably on his chest. 

"Why did you kiss me? I asked for medicine na. " She asked me to measure her small palm with his long palm . 

"He cupped her nape, pulled her facing up, leaned her neck running his nose up and down. 

" You don't need that fucking medicine, which if off no use. You are ok, your mind is completely fine. You forgot your past, it's ok. You have me now, we will make our own memories and live this life happily. Ok? " Nandini moans by his lips teasing her. 

"Ok.. Do friends kiss each other on the lips? " She stammered with difficulty, suppressing her moan. 

Nandini turned to him when he stopped to look at her. 

"Do you feel we can be just friends?" Manik whispered, leaning closest to her lips. 

Nandini looked at him and his lips, smirked slowly, smashing her lips with him, to which he responded immediately holding her nape. 

She turned and sat on his lap, putting her legs either side. Both kissing each other passionately, sucking,  nibbling  each other's lips. 

"Gosh.. What am I doing? " Nandini groaned, hiding her face in his neck. 

Manik smirked and held her closer. 

"Just wetting your lips. '' Manik said, getting a smack on his arms. 

"Shut up. " She yelled, hiding in his arms. He smiled and hugged her close to him, closed his eyes..

"Are you nervous? " Manik asked to unlock his seat belt. 

Nandini nervously glanced at the Grand Mansion, sorry castle bigger than Malhotra. 

"Are you sure she invited us here? " She asked in stress, looking at Manik. 

"Yes, She called me yesterday and wanted us to have lunch with her. Come on, you want to see harshavardhan. He is a weapon and all. " He mimics her, making her smack his arms. 

"Okk, we got this. She got down, straight her dress. Manik buttoned his coat and held his arms for her to hold. Nandini narrows her eyes at it. 

" Gentlemen huh? " She said, smirking. 

"For today.. " He said, making her smile. She held her hands and walked in, to see guards standing in the entrance, saluting Manik which shocked Nandini. Manik ignored it and walked in, to see Meera ordering servants around. 

"God.. Please clean this table here."

"Set the plates nicely. "

"Is the food ready? "

"Still ordering around granny. So bad. " Meera turned to him smiling, rushed and hugged. 

"Have to make everything good. How are you, Nandini? ".

" I am fine, Mam. ''Nandini said, smiling. 

"Mam?? Did you tell your wife I don't like calling Mam? " Meera said strictly, making Nandini frown, and Manik smiled. 

"Call her granny or dadi. She doesn't like family or friend's calling her name. " Manik explained, sitting on the couch. 

"Oh, sorry mam.. Means dadi. " Nandini said, smiling. 

Meera smiled, cupping her face, "My manik choosen a gem for sure. You look so pretty. " Meera said, making him smile. 

"Hey uncle.. " Both turned to see two kids came running to Manik,jumped on him. 

"Heyy champs. How are you?? " Manik happily talking with both. 

"Haan, don't be shocked. Both are my only. Manik is their favourite. Meera said, smiling. 

Nandini nodded, looked at two ladies who smiled at her. 

"She is Lucy, my elder son's wife and this is sheetal, my younger son's wife. " Nandan greeted both who smiled and talked too well.. 

She bond with all well and glanced at Manik with kids now and then. How happily he talking and smiling, playing with them. Somewhere it aches her heart, if they had a kid, Manik could have been this happy with them too. 

"nandini." Her trance broken looked at Lucy, "what happened?Come let's have lunch. "

She nodded and sat on a chair, controlling her breath. Manik sat beside her with a smile which she had never seen. 

"Are you ok? " He asked leaning closer to her, she nodded with a small smile which didn't convince Manik but he thought to deal with later. 

"Uncle, who is she? " A boy in 10 asked Manik. 

"She is my wife's champ, Nandini. Nandini, he is Varun. And his brother Vinay, " Manik said, holding her hands. 

"Ohh, she is so pretty. " Alex said poking her cheeks made her smile. 

"You are so handsome too. " She said, pulling his cheek which became red. 

"Thanks." Alex smiled, and Nandini started talking to both kids, happily. 

Meera sat in front of them, looking at Manan and kids on their lap, which made her so happy. She imagines a beautiful family and blesses both. 

"And I can't imagine what happened then? I was in hospital because of this naughty monkey. " Lucy tells about his son's mischievous act, making Nandini laugh. 

"She is so beautiful. " Manik, admiring his wife from the kitchen door, looked at Meera. She set all the sweets on a plate to give to the maid. 

"Indeed she is. " Manik said, leaning on the wall. 

"She is the one you lost right. You've been waiting for her. Meera started standing in front of him. 

Manik nodded, "I don't know granny. I don't know why I got her back in my life again. I don't know how she came, but... " 

"But... " Manik turned to Meera, and with tears hugged her tightly. 

"She don't know I kill people, she don't know I sell drugs, she don't know I am not a kid. I am devil who kills people due to my angry. She don't know anything about me. I am scared she will leave me again. I am scared I will lose her. " He said his heart out, making her heart ache in seeing him in pain. 

"Manik, she won't. I can see her love for you in her eyes. She won't leave you. " Meera said. 

Manik chuckled breaking the hug, "she don't love me. She is not ready to accept it. " Manik said, wiping his tears. 

"I can see that Manik. You need to be patient with her. Meera said, Holding his arms. 

Manik about to say when both heard a sound turned to see Nandini stood in front of harshavardhan in shock. 

Both were shocked what happened

Nandini was running behind Alex, playing catch and catch. Both enjoying and laughing, when she didn't see harshavardhan coming bang into him straight. 

Harshavardhan glared at her, "who the hell is she?? How dare you dash into me? " He roared in anger, making Nandini flinch back in fear. 

"Harsh honey.. She is Nandini, Manik's wife.. " Meera came to rescue her. Harshavardhan glared at Nandini who hid into Manik arms. 

"What is he doing here? " He glared at Manik who rolled his eyes. 

"Came for a picnic with my wife. " Manik said sarcastically, looking away. Harshavardhan glared at him equally Manik did. 

Meera held her head in tension. 

Nandini peek out of his chest to see Both monsters glaring at each other. 

"Ayyappa, it's like the King Kong meeting Godzilla movie. Now I understand where Manik got his attitude. " She pouted like a kid.
