It was the next morning, Laksh woke up early and was sitting on the dinner table alone lost in his thoughts.

Laksh father was looking at him, he checked the time and was more than surprised, "Laksh good morning."

Laksh nodded, "Good morning dad," the way he said it, it didn't sounded good, but neither bad, just spiritless.

"Laksh is something bothering you? After every successful operation you party, has something happened?"

Laksh shook his head, "no, I just didn't drunk."

DP was left open mouth, "you didn't, but why?"

"Dad why you never asked me to help you the time, when you were ill?"

DP was shocked to hear this, "Laksh there was never a need to ask you, as you were never interested in business, your aim was your success. Not to help others. To ask your mother was the best option I had, cause she knew about the business, she is my life partner the better half, looking after you and me, as well as the business. You should never underestimate a woman, she is capable of more than we men, we just try it, but they succeed in it."

Laksh was blinking with his eyes, "succeed in what?"

"In making it work, we can't but they can keep the balance between home and work." DP said and just then AP came down looking at them.

"Good Morning, Laksh is everything alright?"

Laksh gave her a look, "everything is fine, why are you behaving so weird, never saw me like this?"

AP smiles, "no Beta, I didn't meant to hurt you, but usually you are not here."

Just then the door opens, they were looking at a stranger then back to Laksh and widen their eyes.

"AP now you know why he didn't got married, he isn't interested in women."

AP nodded, "haan you are right. If I had known this earlier I wouldn't have wasted my time in searching for a suitable bride. All wasted."

Now Laksh was left open mouth with a shaking head, "Jack the anaesthetist of the operation yesterday, he drunk too much I took him here, I don't wanted to drive him home, he lives at the other side of the city."

"Oh!" His both parents said, "Good morning Jack."

Jack a bit embarrassed, "good morning." He sat next to Laksh, who couldn't handle it, he moves aside and Jack as well as his parents were looking at him.

Laksh stood up, Jack felt more embarrassed as he was alone with them, "how are you?" He asked to break the ice.

Ragini woke up early in the morning as always she did her prayer and was ready in cooking the breakfast.

"Ragini?!" Her father was coming down, "are you there?" He had fallen asleep and didn't know that there is a guest in their house.

"Abbu I'm in the kitchen," she said just to him while preparing the meal, "can you help me?"

Her father was standing right behind her, "okay."

"Ahhh!" She got a shock, "Abbu you can't scare me like this," she pouts and her father laughs, "give me the plates, why are there three portions?"

"We have a guest." She said and her father nodded thoughtfully, "everything alright?"

Ragini shook her head, "no, she needs support and I took her with me." They arranged the plates and Rachel took her own time to come down.

Laksh comes with fresh clothes, "listen I can't stand this smell, here please take and shower, I can't breath next to you. I think this will fit you."

Jack took the clothes, before that he smells on himself, "uh! Thanks man. Excuse me." He stood up and went back into the guest room, just to take a shower.

His parents were surprise, "wow you can't stand the smell?!"

Laksh huffs, "I don't smell like this." He was explaining himself, but his parents just shook their heads, "you do. You are not a flower garden, you smell like a liquor store that's why we didn't got you first, we are used to it."

"Can we just have food?"

"Not without your friend." They said and Laksh murmured under his breath.

Rachel was sitting next to Ragini, "thanks for helping me."

Her father was fuming, "that bastard needs to get beaten up, if needed I will make this."

"Abbu!" Ragini admonish him, "we don't take the law in our hands."

Her father crossed his arms and murmured something under his breath.

Jack was back and they finished the breakfast with him.

"Come I will drop you." Laksh gave him a bag, "you can use it for the dirty clothes."

Jack smiles, "thanks," then he looked at his parents, "thank you for your hospitality, have a nice day." They left.

Ragini didn't liked the behaviour of her father, "you will never learn it, shame on you."

"I'm not wrong, Rachel you have to file a complaint against him. He needs to get punished for that."

Rachel nodded, "yes, I will for sure." They finished their food and then the door bell rings.

"I will check," she said a bit angry glaring at her father. She stood up and opened the door.

"Where is she you bloody...."

Thaadh!!!

"Mind your language!"

Rachel fears, she starts to shake while Abdul stood up to help his daughter.

"How dare you?! I won't..."

Punch!!!!

"Khambhat (unfortunate)! Ragini call the police now."

Ragini nodded and saw Rachel, she had already dialled the number, a smile formed on Ragini's face.

"Wait what happened?!" Jack was shocked, "that bastard hit her and tried to molest her?"

Laksh nodded, "yes, Ragini said that Rachel should stay with her, can you tell me where she lives?" Hmm I'm asking for it because I care don't get me wrong that I will get to know where she lives will help me. I'm not in love neither is she the right one, always ignoring me, but a fabulous character I must say.

"Lucky?! You there."

Laksh looked at him, "I had my concentration on the road."

"We are still in the parking garage?"

"I was thinking of the traffic jam."

"Yes, if you say so. Her address is..."

Laksh typed it into his navigation system and their journey of silence started.

The police arrived at the same time Laksh and Jack arrived.

"What's going on there?" Jack immediately stood off the car while Laksh was still parking it. He shook his head, "unbelievable."

"Mr. Sheikh what happened?" The inspector asked, but it was Rachel, who spoke to them. She explained everything then Ragini comes in between.

"Inspector there is a camera, we can show you."

Jack comes to them, "Rach and Ragz, you both okay?"

They both nodded, "Thomas came over here, he found me."

"Yeah, wasn't a big thing, I mean Ragz is your bestie and he knows that, right?"

They arrested him, "we need your statement and even the footage as an evidence."

Ragini nodded, "sure."

They left and Laksh comes to them looking at the police car. I don't want to sit in it, ugh bad memories not to remember.

"Hi?!"

Laksh turns as he was walking blindly, "oh sorry."

Abdul was looking at them, "who are they?"

Ragini smiles, "Abbu this is Jack my colleague and I told you about the surgeon, who had cancelled the first operation?"

Abdul thought, "and then thrown you out of it?!"

Ragini moves her lips, "yes, that's him." Not happy anymore.

"Good Morning." Laksh and Jack said in union an awkward moment.
