-~-~-~-O-~-~-~-

I was kidnapped when I was four.

I lived in a huge house with family and friends of all sizes.

Our family spent most of the time going for long trips, miles away and we don't usually stay in a place because we practically loved to move around.

One fine day as we were on our usual trip to somewhere exciting, we were surrounded by unknown people. Entrapping us in a small area.

They begin throwing things at us.

We knew they were not trustworthy, we begin to move faster and away from them.

They tailed us and faster too.

Nets were thrown on us. Our movements were restricted.

Five of my family members were killed.

In an attempt to keep the murder event away from the public eye, these men slit open the bodies of my death family members and stuffed rocks into them. They were later dropped into the ocean with anchors, sinking them down to the sea bed.

And soon, I was taken away from my family .

I was kidnapped and sold for a mere $6,000.

They kept me in a deplorable condition.

I was isolated from my world.

I had another victim in the same space as I am. It was just the two of us.

Customers came to see us every single day.

Watch us as we entertain them and make them happy.

Little did they know, we were not as happy as we look like.

The men that captivated us has always portrayed our living as the best we could ever asked for.

Customers paid everyday to see us. And everyday were new people.

We would entertain them. Everyday.

At some days, we refuse to entertain. Our voice never reached their ears.

When we protest, we were starved.

When we eat, our foods were drugged.

We were living in a prison. Even worst than a prison.

Depression took toll on my room mate which lead to him committing suicide after repeatedly ramming his head on the wall.

I was left alone.

Five decades has gone.

I'm still in here. In this deplorable space, entertaining humans. Helping these men earn more money every single day.

Will I ever meet my family?

Will my day ever come for me to return home?

My name is Lolita.

I was kidnapped when I was four.

Lolita is a beautiful wild Orca and that was her only mistake.

Humans like you and me had taken her away from her family so that we could be entertained and the men can earn millions of money.

The sea world not only gets local tourist, they often get tourist from all around the world to witness these innocent creature perform tricks. This is where people encouraged seaworld owners to continue doing it.

Lolita is still alive in this confined space. In a concrete tank, with the depth of almost the length of her own.

Lolita is classified as the Resident Killer Whales from the Pacific Northwest. Their are known to live with their mother for their entire lives. In the wild, Orca swims hundreds of miles a day, diving 500 feet deep while in the marine world she circle 35 foot wide area and a 20 feet deep.

Lolita now lives in the confined space alone with no interaction with other whales.

And she is the oldest living killer whale captivated.

********

A real story that I have retold in my way. I felt the urge to share something we don't hear nor talk on a daily basis.

We have been so busy dealing with our life that we often forget the most important part of living. The nature

Our very own existence is to protect but mankind have been doing the reverse.

It's difficult to see, hear and read that many wild animals like Lolita had to go through so much because of human greediness. Foolishness.

As an individual, we can always make a difference.

Thank you for reading :)

-we can make a better choice - love nature-
