"you need to tell him before it's too late."

clarke's voice rang through kodie's head as she watched bellamy from afar. he was talking with raven, getting coordinates on how to get into mount weather. lincoln was going to be showing him how to get through the tunnels without being caught by the reapers and guards.

kodie had faith in bellamy, but she was still terrified. she didn't really know how to react.

clarke had walked off to talk to lexa, leaving the blue eyed girl alone. bellamy was set to head into mount weather when the sun fell and she wasn't ready for it. she made her way over to the fire where finn had been burned the night before. she was sad that the boy was gone, but he deserved what came to him and she knew that.

she mindlessly walked towards the edge of camp and sat down on a rock, picking at the grass beneath her feet before deciding it was best for her to go back to arkadia. she rose to her feet and brushed off her pants before taking a step towards the direction of camp when her name was called.

"kodie?" she spun around to see bellamy and frowned at him.

"what's up?" she questioned nonchalantly, trying to hold up a big face.

"where are you going?" he asked, looking over her shoulder at the woods behind her.

kodie shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms over her chest. "arkadia. my time here is done."

"wait," he frowned, stepping closer to her. "you can't leave yet. please don't leave yet."

"i can't be here when you leave." she frowned. "it'll hurt too much."

"what do you mean?" he asked, curiously.

she sighed, "i like you, bell." she avoided his gaze. "and seeing you go into that tunnel to get to mount weather will crush me because i don't know if i'll ever see you again."

"you'll see me again." he whispered, stepping closer to her. "i would never do something to get myself killed." he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her body closer to his so they were chest to chest. "i would never leave you."

"promise?" she looked up at him and their eyes locked.

"i promise." he nodded, leaning in. his lips gently brushed her own and she pressed their lips together, enjoying the feeling of bellamy's arms wrapped around her body.

"for the record," bellamy mumbled against her lips. "i like you, too."

she fought back a smile and let a small laugh escape her lips. "good."

the two stood there, staring at each other, for a while before bellamy's name was called. bellamy grabbed kodie's hand and led her over to lexa, who had been the one to call him. she took notice to their interlocked fingers and a small smile formed on her lips as she gave bellamy clear instructions. kodie wasn't really listening. she was still way to focused on the fact that the man standing next to her would be walking into his own possible death.

"i'll leave you alone now." lexa eyed the two before a smirk formed on her lips. "good luck, bellamy kom skaikru and i wish you a safe journey."

bellamy dragged kodie into one of the tents and pressed his lips to hers again, kissing her hard. she quickly responded to the kiss and laid down on the thin blanket that covered the grass as he hovered over her. they remained that way, kissing, for a long period of time before bellamy pulled away with a content smile on his face. "i like this."

"me too." kodie smiled up at him and they laid there, staring at each other. kodie pushed his hair away from his eyes and pressed a kiss to his nose, causing him to scrunch it up, making the cutest face kodie had ever seen. she was so in love with this boy and her dad's words replayed in her head, causing her to frown.

"what's wrong?" bellamy eyed her, seeing her quick emotion change.

"nothing." she shook her head. "just thinking."

"anything i should be worried about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and the girl shook her head.

"not at all."

the two remained in the tent, talking and kissing for hours until the sun finally went down and it was time for bellamy to leave with lincoln. they exited the tent and made their way to where lincoln and raven stood, chatting quietly.

"i'm ready." bellamy said as he approached them. he gave kodie's hand a squeeze before placing his free hand on her cheek. he quickly kissed her again, causing both raven and lincoln to raise their eyebrows, but neither said a word. "i'll see you in a few days." he pressed his forehead to her. "i promise, i got this."
"i believe you." kodie gave him a sad smile. "i'll see you in a few days."

"stay close to raven. i want your voice to be the first one i hear when i get to the radio." he pressed his lips to her forehead.

"i will." she nodded quickly. she looked at raven who only gave her a small smile, one that didn't really reach her face. "be careful." she mumbled, eyeing him.

"i will be." he nodded before turning to lincoln. "let's go." the two started off into the woods towards the tunnels and clarke approached the group.

"jaha and a few others are heading out to find some city of light." she frowned, looking at kodie. "murphy went with them." she frowned.

kodie frowned deeply. she lost the two men that meant the most to her in one day. she had no idea how to react. she felt lost. she felt numb once again.

"are you okay?" raven placed a hand on kodie's shoulder and the brunette shook her head.

"no."
