Hikari didn't know where she was. She wasn't in her body, or in Kitsuné. Or as far as she knew. Her vision was misted. When it cleared, she noticed where she was. In the Gupi Forest.

She wasn't on the ground, though. And she couldn't feel anything she touched. There were two kitsune underneath her, familiar.

T-that's me! Hikari thought, noticing a small blue she-cat. The tom walking beside her was larger, full grown, and purple.

"Daddy, daddy, where are we going?" young Hikari asked the tom. That's my dad? But he's dead! Unless...

Hikari automatically knew what was happening. This was a flashback!

She was only a year old at this time. This was three years ago! She watched herself, conversing with her dad.

"Where's Mommy?" young Hikari mewled. "And my sister?"

Her dad shrugged. "Somewhere. I don't know." They're talking about Yuki.

"Aw," the younger version of Hikari mewed.

Before Hikari could say anything, three toms slithered from the bushes. Hikari recognized them immeadietly.

Frozenjaw, Overbite, and Saber! Hikari thought. Wondering what they would do, she leaned forward. Frozenjaw did as well, but instead of waiting, he leaped with his claws out.

Hikari felt horror flood through her. This was the kitsune Frozenjaw killed! That's why he was in jail! How could Hikari be so stupid to not recognize him? She helped him escape! How could I have been so stupid?

Before she knew it, her dad was dead. Young Hikari was huddled in the bushes, dumbfounded and crestfallen.

They ran off, not looking back.

"Agh!" Hikari screamed, noticing she was in the present time. She was dreaming about the past. A flash-back. Why did Frozenjaw do that? Hikar wondered. I'll make him talk. She rose to her paws. She was in the Gupi Forest. Like in her flash-back! How'd I get here?
