Yuki turned her attention to what Kazan was screaming about. Yuki couldn't believe her eyes. It was a volcano!

 "Kazan," Plague said fearfully, looking at the volcano. "You know I'm allergic to lava!"

Fear of tripping? Allergic to lava? How weirder can Plague be? Yuki thought, shaking her head.

"How can you be allergic to lava?" Yuki muttered. "Do you get a rash? Sneeze?"

"Actually," Techno meowed, stepping in front of Yuki. "It melts his sensitive brain if he get's to close to it." Oh.

"Tha... That's, um, nice?" Yuki said, feeling sort of out of place.

"Let's go, guys," Kazan encouraged, already half way to the top of the volcano-top.

"Remember," Techno advised. "He did climb up the Endless Chasm. He lost his arms and legs, they grew back, though. He had to climb with his teeth until they grew back, unfortunately. Anyway, let's go!"

Yuki nodded, and followed Techno and Kazan.

Yuki didn't know that they were making their base in the volcano. They were deathly close to the lava, on a platform covered by a small overhanging cliff.

"This is nice," Kazan said. "I'll keep watch!" Kazan swiftly climbed out of the volcano, and onto the peak. He sat there, looking determined. But only five seconds after he looked utterly bored.

Yuki rolled her eyes. But, suddenly, Kazan screamed, "Agh! We're under attack!"

Yuki saw Kazan be attacked, and thrown over the egde by someone. That someone, a tom, slipped, and fell over with Kazan. Just before the tom could fall, he grabbed Kazan's tail, and held on for life.

Yuki was much more surprised to see Hikari's head pop over the egde and look over.

"Yuki! It's you," Hikari snarled, looking at Frozenjaw and Plague. "I hate you both so much!"

The other tom seemed to be having his own problems. Yuki peered closer, and saw that it was Trout.

"Kazan," Trout said shakily. "Whatever you do, don't let go of the cliff. Okay? If you do, we're both dead."

"Letting go!" Kazan said, letting go without hesitation. They both fell to the lava, making Yuki's heart almost stop.

She was relieved to see Kazan in the lava, living, holding Trout above his head.

"Trout you idiot!" Hikari snapped from above. "Idiot."

"Yuki," Plague whispered into Yuki's ear. "I'm going to try and get outta here. Distract he intruders." Yuki remembered that Plague was her leader. "Yes, sir."

Yuki jumped out from underneath the platform, and over to a ridge on the other side of the volcano. Hikari was on another ridge higher up, and Yuki tried to think how to get up there, drag Hikari down, and let Plague through.

"Hey Hikari!" Yuki called, catching her sister's attention slightly. "I hear you secretly make out with Frozenjaw!" That'll shoot the gun! She does hate Frozenjaw, doesn't she?

Hikari was more than just angered, she was insanely mad.

"You do what?!" Plague asked from a slightly higher ridge than Yuki, looking at Hikari. Don't tell me he took that seriously! Yuki wondered, glaring at Plague and his ignorance.

"You," Hikari hissed with zero happiness. "I'll kill you all!"

"Not me!" Kazan said, in an akward position holding Trout above his head and all. "Can't kill me-- Oh, Trout! The lava is like quick-sand! It's like a hot tub, too."

Yuki knew Kazan coud pretty mcuh survive anything. Even standing in lava.

"Agh!" Yuki spun around as she heard Plague scream. He was being cornered on a ridge, about to fall off. Hikari was cornering him.

"Don't just stand there! Help!" Plague screeched.

"Okay!" Kazan called back. He threw Trout into the side of the volcano, initally getting his head stuck.

Waddling awkwardly to Plague, Kazan shouted encouraging things. He's taking too long! Yuki thought. Yuki jumped onto the ridge, and stomped on Hikari's tail.

"Eek!" Hikari squeaked. She reared up on her front paws, and kicked Yuki with her back ones.

Yuki was thrown back, and almost off the ridge completely.

Hikari was pinning Plague against the ridge now, dangling his head over the edge. "Give up?" she sneered.

"Eh-- No, not yet," Plague said, putting on a forced smile.

"Grr," Hikari growled. She started slowly shoving Plague over the egde.

"Give up, and I'll stop," Hikari said, smiling evily.

"I dunno about that. Maybe tommorrow?" Plague said, faking a yawn.

Yuki could barely see blood flooding out of Plague's mouth.

"Hikari, stop!" Yuki screeched. "You're hurting him!"

Hikari seemed to ignore Yuki, and continued sliding Plague over the edge.

Blood was coming out of Plague's ear, eyes, and his mouth especially. His brain must be melting!

Suddenly, blood spewed out of Plague's mouth, and he stopped moving. Plague!?

"You little faker!" Hikari snapped, shaking Plague. He started moving again normally, and Yuki wondered how you can fake bleed.

"Hikari! How can you fake something like that? That was real blood!" Yuki called, starting to grown anxious and desperate.

"Actually I did fake it," Plague said, smiling halfly. "I'll explain it to you later. I give up."

"Good," Hikari sat back, looking pleased with herself, giving Plague enough room to get up. "You're all under arrest."
