Sokeefe and Sotam

Third person pov:

The sound of Sohie's alarm clock woke her up from her peaceful sleep. After finally finishing Keepers of the lost cities last night, she went to bed really late after watching a movie with Biana, one of her best friends. When the pair had originally met, they were sworn enemies, but Sophie became friends with Fitz and because of that, Sophie and Biana slowly became better and better friends.

She sighed and started getting ready for another day at school with her crazy friends.

She went downstairs and suddenly remembered that prom was in two days and she had nothing to wear. If Bi, where to find out, she would make Sophie shop for hours. And when Sophie meant hours, she meant it. This meant that Sophie would have to go shopping herself. She knew that if she didn't go, Biana would kill her. Sophie remembered the last time she tried to convince Biana to let her not go. It ended up with a two hour lecture about how important it was to go to dances, parties, and all that. Even though no one asked her to the dance, Biana would make her go anyways.

At Keefe's house

Keefe woke up by his older sister, Ro, pouring slime all over his head. He heard her giggle and run out of his room.

"RO! GET BACK HERE!"Keefe shouted as the pink slime was dripping down his face and his clothes.

He groaned.

"You know I was going to ask Foster to the dance today right?" he asked Ro when he finally got rid of all the slime. Which took an hour. Luckily pranks were not uncommon at his house so he put his alarm clock at 6:30 am in order to be able to clean up. It was always either Keefe, Ro, or their father that got pranked but someone always got pranked.

"Oops sorry. Just remember, what happens if you don't do it. This is going to be the easiest $50 ever."Ro muttered the last bit to herself.

"Wow. you must have oh so little fate in your brother,"He said sarcastically.

"Hmm let me think. You have liked her since the first day of High School, you have wanted to ask her out for two years, so yes, I have a very small amount of faith in you,"Ro ranted.

Keefe fake pouts and glares at Ro.

"Okay, that may be true, but I promise you I will ask her to go to prom with me today." Keefe declared to his sister.

Suddenly, Keefe's phone rang. He saw Biana's number on the phone and picked it up.

"Hey Bi, what's up?"Keefe asked his friend.

"So, I heard a rumor that you're going to ask Sophie to Prom."

"Uh-um-it-not,"

She giggled. "Don't worry. I am going to help you."

He sighed in relief that she wasn't going to tell Sophie.

"What do you have in mind?"

Biana told Keefe her plan.

"That will never work."Keefe exclaimed after hearing the 'secret' plan.

"Oh yes it will. See you at school."

"Bye Bi,"

'What have I gotten myself into?'Keefe asked himself.

At the school:

Sophie waited with Linh and Tam who always seem to get to Foxfire earlier than the rest. Well Linh was with her. Tam was hiding in the shadows per usual.

Eventually they saw Bi's and Fitz's car pull up and they got out. Linh ran to her boyfriend, Fitz while Tam glared at him. It was no big secret that Tam disapproved of the couple. The three of them started walking to Sophie and Tam.

"Hey Sophie, hey Tam,"Fitz said.

"Hi,"Sophie replied

Tam just grunted as a response.

Biana, Linh, and Sophie entered a conversation about their boyfriends. Biana was dating Dex.

The bell rang and Sophie and Tam had math with Marella, another one of their friends.

Sophie groaned, she hated math. It was her least favorite subject.

time skip to after class because I-can-not-be-bothered-with-math

With Keefe:

Keefe was ditching class again. It was no secret that Keefe always ditched the first period. He sighed wondering if Bi's plan was really going to work. That all he had to do was ask her casually. He looked up to the ceiling wondering if it was really going to work. Biana's plan seemed impossible. But then again, a lot of things that were considered impossible, were made possible like when people finally walked on the moon or when everyone thought the world was flat except for the fact it's round.

He sighed again and just decided to do what Bi said.

Time skip after school:

The group was waiting outside when Keefe finally reached them.

"Hey Keefe,"They all said.

"Hey Bangs boy, Foster, beauty queen, Wonderboy, Water girl."Keefe replied as a lot of them glared at him because of the nicknames.

After arguing about the nicknames everyone left except for Keefe and Sophie.

"Soo,"Sophie said awkwardly.

"Do You Want To Go To The Dance With Me,"He blurted out.

"I couldn't hear what you said, can you repeat it?"Sophie asked shyly.

"Do you want to go to the dance with me?"He asked.

Sophie just stared in shock.

"I would love to,"She said after about what seemed like 10 hours.

"Okay, I will pick you up at 8."

"Okay,"She replied and they went their separate ways.

On Prom night:

Sophie was originally shocked when Keefe asked her to the dance. Then she started shopping with Bi and Linh to get her dress.

Keefe was shocked Sophie had said yes. The first thing he thought when he saw her was that she looked stunning. They immediately started talking.

"I am going to get a drink,"Sophie said.

"Ok Foster,"He said with a smile.

Sophie left and Ro came up to him.

"Wow you actually did it."Ro said. "Here's the $50,"

"So it was just a bet,"Came Sophie's voice.

"Sophie!"Keefe gasped in surprise. "It's not what you think,"He said.

"Oh no I think I know exactly what is going on. So I am just a bet." At this point there were tears rolling down her face.

" I knew I should have never trusted you. I should have believed what everyone said when they said you were a player. I wish I never knew you,"She shouted at him and ran away. Completely out of view and Biana went in front of him. Except she looked mad. No, she was seething.

"What. The. Heck. Is. Wrong. With. YOU!"She shouted at him.

"Keefe, what the heck is wrong with you?! Sophie got hurt because of you."

"Stop worrying. It's going to be fine,"Keefe said thinking that Sophie's going to believe him

"Can't you see? You are ruining everything,"Bi shouted at him.

"I wish I never knew you. Oh gods I have to find Sophie,"Bi said. "Fitz, Dex, Linh! Come over here and punish him,"

They came over and glared at him. Unknown to them, Tam was with Sophie.

With Sophie:

She was in the ceiling sitting down. Sophie looked bad. She was crying and was angry. At herself and Keefe. At herself because she trusted Keefe and at Keefe for betting on her.

"Sophie?"Tam's voice came.

He saw me and sat down next to me.

"What's wrong,"He asked her. I was still crying.

Suddenly he did the one thing I didn't expect. He hugged me and I hugged him back. After about 20 minutes of sitting down together, she told him what happened and there was raw anger. There was only one thought in his mind: He was going to kill Keefe. But first he should make sure Sophie was okay.

"If Keefe did that, he probably doesn't care about you. He is just really selfish, he doesn't see what I see,"Sophie looked up at him with that confused look on her face.

"And what do you see? A broken girl who was used to when a bet?"

"No, I see a beautiful and kind girl who deserves to be with someone better than Keefe,"He said and they both started blushing. Sophie because of the fact that Tam complimented her and Tam because he realized what he said.

"Thank you."She whispered and couldn't help herself. She kissed him and he kissed back and she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Would you be my girlfriend?"He asked her.

"Yes,"She whispered back.

Neither of them realized that the entire school had watched the entire exchange.
