Kairi was running late,

Again.

He wasn't exactly running either, he was casually strolling, on his way to Sentai Academy.

Sentai Academy.

An academy filled with 43 different Sentais, and even more by the years.

Only the best of the best are accepted- and only the greatest graduated as a Sentai.

There was the Mahou unit for instance. Professor Hikaru's students, the Ozu family, were the unit's best students, graduating as Magis. Kairi was even trained under Ozu Kai, who was known as MagiRed.

Kairi was in the Kaitou unit, and he aimed to graduate as a Lupin-

Just like his older brother.

When Kairi received a letter that he was accepted into the program, he exploded with emotions. He was excited, more excited than the times he felt when his brother would come home with doughnuts (and that's really excited). He felt cocky about it, (again, only the best we're accepted), but nonetheless, he was determined- he wanted to be like his brother, maybe even surpass him. Kairi wanted to show his older brother that he wasn't some delinquent- some little boy.

Kairi wanted his brother to be proud of him.

He wasn't going to let any Lupin, nor Sentai, get in his way.

Well, he wasn't going to get any closer to his goal if was going to be late to school almost everyday.

Ugh, better start running.

Kairi had finally made it into the school and squeezed past crowds of other students. He made his way up the stairwells, made a quick turn and ran.

Though he was often late to class, Kairi was still an ace student- always doing tasks accordingly and passes with skills above standards.

It wasn't Kairi's fault he always felt sour feeling whenever he entered the school, knowing he was breathing the same air as those 'guard dogs'-

Maybe Kairi could have had a better outlook to going to school, if only that day never happened. Kairi believed that he could have been going to school much happier if it weren't for them.

Kairi ran down the hallways, eyeing his classroom that was at the end of the hall. Just before he could reach halfway, a senior student came into view, blocking Kairi's way.

"No running in the halls, Kairi."

Kairi abruptly stopped running, standing a couple feet away from the young man before him. He wore a navy blue uniform, lined with red stripes. He stood before Kairi, hands on his hips, his face wearing a frown.

Kairi chewed the inside of his cheek,

Speaking of the devil,

Out of all the students, or anyone in the world right now, why must Kairi face this...

Traitor....

"What do you want Keichiiro?"

So my original intention was to publish this AU as two parts in my Super Sentai one shots book, but I figured it would go off theme, so I decided to publish it as a book instead (since I've split a really long chapter into three) so I've already prepared three chapters for you guys. I've been thinking of writing a Sentai Academy AU series, ( I'm fond of the concept and I'll write about different sentais and their school life ) let me know what you all think. I know I've written a lot of books and put some on hold, but I just really wanted to do this. Don't be a silent reader- leave a comment and vote🌟
