Preeta:Don't eat outside food daily.

Shaurya:Mother India,don't decide what I should eat.I love hotel food.

Preeta:But junk food is not healthy.You can eat at home and have fast food once in a while.You have to obey me when you are staying in my house.Otherwise you are free to leave this house.

Shaurya was really irritated.

Preeta:You can tell us what you like.The food will be prepared here.

Shaurya:I don't want to trouble Palki by forcing her to cook.She has her job pressure too.

Preeta:There are good maids in our house.They will cook your favourite food.So that you don't need to eat from outside daily.

Shaurya thought:I will see how the food tastes.If I don't like it,I will disobey mother India and eat whatever I like from India.

Shaurya ate the food which the maids cooked for him.

Preeta:Jamai Raja...how is the food?

Surprisingly Shaurya replied with a smile:It's good.From now onwards I don't mind having home cooked food.

Preeta smiled.

Everyone else too smiled and Palki was relieved.

Palki thought:I am glad.If Shaurya hadn't liked the food he would have opposed mom and mom would have fought with him.Luckily that didn't happen.

Preeta told Shaurya:As you know tomorrow is Karwachauth.Palki is fasting for your long life.

Preeta:You don't want your wife to have a long life?

Shaurya:Of course yes.I want Palki to have a long life.But i don't believe that such rituals will increase anybody's life time.So I won't fast.

Preeta:Whether you believe it or not you have to fast.Because husbands fasting for their wives on karwachauth is our family tradition.

Shaurya got irritated.

Shaurya:This family is full of rituals and traditions.I am fed up.

Preeta:If you want to continue here as my daughter's husband you have to do it.

Shaurya:Palki will not leave me.So stop threatening me.

Preeta smirked.

Preeta:If I do emotional blackmailing she will choose me over you.

Shaurya became dull.

Palki:I am so excited about my first karwachauth.

Shaurya:Why?You don't need to fast for me Palki.I don't believe in such superstitions.

The Karwachauth night...

Karan broke Preeta's karwachauth vrat by feeding her.Preeta too broke his vrat by feeding him.

Palki viewed Shaurya's face through the sieve.

Shaurya fed her water and morsel.

Shaurya:Palki.. please feed me fast.I am dying out of hunger.

Palki was surprised:You fasted for me?

Shaurya nodded.

Palki:I am so lucky to have such a loving husband.

Palki embraced him.

Shaurya thought:Good that sasuma forced me to take vrat. Because of that I could make Palki happy.That's enough for me.

Palki fed him food.Shaurya was very happy.

Preeta told Shaurya:I want to go to my office.The driver didn't come today.So drop me there before you go to the office.

Shaurya nodded with irritation.

Shaurya:But don't treat me like your driver.I am not your driver.

Preeta was silent.

Shaurya walked away.

Karan asked Preeta:Preeta....why did you lie that the driver didn't come today?He had come.But you sent him away purposefully so that you can make Shaurya your driver.What's the need of making him your driver today?

Preeta:Because I want to teach him to help elders by doing small things for them.

Karan smiled.

Preeta got inside Shaurya's car.

Shaurya was driving it fast.

Preeta was feeling discomfort.

Preeta:Drive slowly.

Shaurya:Mother India...I drive like this always.

Preeta:Fast driving maybe enjoyed by the youth like you.But when there are elders in your car you should make sure that they are comfortable with your driving.Elderly people are not comfortable with fast driving.And accidents also occur.

Shaurya increased the speed purposefully to irritate Preeta.

But suddenly Shaurya noticed a car coming that way.He could not change the direction of his car fast as the speed was high.But somehow in a second he changed the direction and the car hit the tree.
