"Oh no..." You groan as you look up at the dark, cloudy sky. You totally forgot to check the weather broadcast in the morning, so you face-palm yourself because you didn't even bring an umbrella. You take out your phone to see a text from your mother saying she's working until midnight, so you obviously have no ride home.

"Great, I can't believe it..." You sigh until you see a light in the corner of your eye. You turn to see the lights of the gym still on, brightly shining.

You make your way to the entrance of the gym, slowly peeking inside to see the basketball team still practicing. Riko, your classmate, and best friend saw you and decides to call you over.

"Hey, (First Name)!" She waves and smiles.

You walk over to give her a hug. "Hey, Riko~ I didn't know you guys were still here."

"Yeah we stay pretty late, what are you doing here still?" She gives you a confused look.

You see the basketball team members staring at you, so you didn't want to sound stupid and embarrass yourself.

"I-I uh... Came to..." Then you turn to see your crush, Hyūga Junpei, the basketball captain come up to you.

"(First name), did you come to see us?" He grins, teasing you.

"Who is this Senpai, is she your girlfriend?" Kagami comes in, asking.

"Pfft wh-what? No." You flick your wrist back and forth in the air, blushing furiously. You see Riko and Kyoshi grinning and giggling since they knew you have a crush on Hyūga.

"Anyways, the real reason I'm here is that it's pouring outside and I kinda....forgot my umbrella. Coming here was probably the only choice I had." You say sheepishly.

"Ah well, practice is over in 20 minutes. We'll take you home, and when I mean 'We', I mean Hyūga will." Riko smiles innocently.

"Wh-what?! Why me?" He complains.

Riko grabs Hyūga by the ear and threatens him. Then Kyoshi comes up next to you to pat you on the head.

"Don't worry, he'll happily get you home safely, (First Name)." He reassures.

-20 MINUTES LATER-

"Bye Bye, (First Name), Hyūga!~ Get home safely!" You wave off to Riko and the other members as you walk side by side under the umbrella with Hyūga.

"I-I'm sorry for wasting your time since you had to be the one to walk me home, Hyūga-kun." You felt a little guilty.

"Don't worry about it, (First Name). Spending time with you is never a waste of my time." He puts his hand on your shoulder, making you blush.

You spot a coffee shop nearby, you can smell your favorite drink drifting through the air. Your tummy growls softly.

"Are you hungry? We can stop here for a while if you like." Hyūga seems to have noticed your stomach growling. He thinks it's adorable when your face lights up when you see your favorite foods/drinks. But he keeps his blush and grin to himself, as you two walk into the coffee shop.

You two sit at a table and the waitress comes over to take your order.

"Welcome, what would you like to order?" The waitress smiles.

"I'll have the same whatever she's getting," Hyūga says.

"Two (Favorite Coffee/Drink) and Two (Favorite Cake Flavor), please~" You request.

"May I make a request for one of the drinks?" Hyūga asks. He whispers into the waitress's ear and he nods in thanks.

"Of course, coming right up~" She walks away getting the orders.

"What do you tell her, Hyūga-kun?" You bob your head to the side, in curiosity.

"Don't worry about it, (First Name)." He grins.

Five minutes pass by and the waitress brings your cake and coffee.

"Thank you for the meal~" You're about to dig into your cake when you notice the foam on your coffee has some text on it. It says:

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

You gasp softly at the sight, to look up to see Hyūga with eyes full of hope. You smile and suddenly stand up from your seat. You pull Hyūga into a hug, causing him to jerk a bit.

"Yes." You answer with a bright grin.
