Carrying tons of heavy books in your arms, you make your way to the library. Out of all the people in the class to choose to run this errand, your teacher decides to pick you to do it. You make a turn at the corner, only to be bumped with the textbooks falling everywhere.

"Ahh! I'm so sorry! I'm very sorry!" You hear a voice cry out.

You look up to see that it was Ryō Sakurai from the basketball team. You're surprised that he was this cute up close. You knew about him since the basketball team is always talked about in these corridors, but this is the first time you've seen him this close. He holds out his hand to pick you up.

"I'm really sorry, (First Name)-chan!" He puts you back on your feet. You brush off your skirt and start to pick up the textbooks.

"I-it's fine, wait how'd you know my name?" You see him help pick up the books.

"Momoi-chan talks about you a lot and I see you everywhere at school." He mumbles.

"Really?" You ask, a bit surprised. You wouldn't have expected him to actually notice you.

Once the books are all put together, Sakurai helps carry more than half of the books to the library.

"Thanks, Sakurai-kun. I appreciate your kindness~" You smile.

"Y-you're welcome, (First Name)-chan." You can see the poor boy furiously blushing. "Are you b-busy after school?" He brings it up out of nowhere.

"Uhmm..." You think to yourself.

"I'm sorry! Sorry if it was out of nowhere! Sorry!" He starts bowing.

"No, no it's fine Sakurai-kun. I'm free, what did you have in mind?" You giggle at his cute reaction when you said yes.

"I-I just want to get to know you better.." He scratches his head.

"Alright~ I'll see you after school!" You gave him a quick hug and ran back to class.

Sakurai stands there, frozen in his spot and madly blushing.

-TIMESKIP-

You meet up with Sakurai in front of the school's gym. You pay close attention to Sakurai and you're shocked to see how skinny and fragile his body looks for a basketball player. You two start walking, but you couldn't help but be curious.

"Sakurai-kun, you're pretty skinny. Yet you're tall and built." You poke his arm, giggling.

"I-I'm sorry, I'll try to eat more." He smiles.

"Haha, I don't mean that in a bad way, I think you're perfectly fine the way you are." You felt his hand brush against yours. He quickly moves away, blushing. "Usually basketball players or athletes have bigger bodies."

"I'm sorry! I didn't-"

You grab his hand and held it tightly, to prevent him from apologizing.

"It's fine, Sakurai-kun." Reassuring him.

You two sit on a bench in a park, eating ice cream. You two talked for a good solid ten minutes until Sakurai went silent.

"(First Name)-chan, I-I..." He nervously says.

"Hm? Go on?" You looked at him in the eyes.

"I think you're really p-pretty." He says unexpectedly, causing your eyes to widen. Of course, he takes this reaction negatively.

"I-I'M SO—"

You place your hand over his mouth and giggle, "thanks Sakurai-kun. You're pretty cute yourself."

He pauses and his face goes entirely red, causing him to slightly go into a daze.

BEHIND THE SCENES:

"Oh, by the way, Sakurai-kun." You giggle.

"W-what is it, (First Name)-chan?"

"Your teammates are watching." You point to the bushes behind you both.

"WOOOOOOOO GO SAKURAI, MAKE HER OFFICIALLY YOURS!" You hear Momoi screaming.

"FINALLY HE DID IT!" The rest of the team cheers.

"OI, (FIRST NAME) IS MINE, BACK OFF SAKURAI!" Aomine yells out.

"I'M SORRY!"
