"This morning I saw a flower and I thought it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen; until I met you."

He's made you feel flustered so many times, yet you two weren't in any special relationship. Most people would've thought you two were together, but last time you checked - you're still just "friends" with the punster, Shun Izuki.

You two walk to school together every morning, and usually, the mood is carefree and energetic. However, today is silent and uneasy. You wonder why the punster is so quiet this morning.

"Izuki-kun, are you okay? You seem...out of it." Your soft, soothing voice brings him back into reality. He looks at you and smiles.

"I'm fine, (First Name)-chan." He puts his arm around your neck, reassuring you.

"Did you hear that Seirin's festival is coming up? You're a senior, so you should go since it's your last year!" You bring it up to break the awkwardness. You always hoped that he would ask you to be his date to the festival, but knowing him and your "friend zone" you doubt it yourself.

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about it, ah I don't know if I'm planning on going. I m-might be busy with practice or something." He nervously says, looking the other way while scratching his head.

Your mood drops.

"Oh, I see. Well, whatever you feel like, Izuki-kun." You say, forcing a smile.

You arrive at school and you part ways with Izuki. During class you were too upset to focus, you couldn't believe that he wasn't planning on going to the festival and it was his last year in high school. You were too deep in your thoughts, you didn't hear the teacher call you to answer the question.

"(First Name)! Are you paying attention?" Your teacher calls out.

You're brought back into reality, "Ye-Yes, the answer is....." Class continues on.

It is lunchtime and you sit in your seat talking to your best friends until you see Kuroko with a letter in his hand and Kagami walking in following behind. Kuroko hands you the letter and gives you a small smile.

"Thanks, Kuroko-kun. Who's this from?" You ask.

"It's confidential, but don't worry about it (First Name)." Kagami smiles as he walks out of the classroom with Kuroko.

"Hmmm, a secret admirer I see, (First Name)?" Your best friend grins teasingly.

"Wha-Whatever!" You blush.

"Maybe it's a love letter. I mean you ARE quite a popular cutie." (Best Friend's Name) pinches and pulls your cheek.

"Ha-Hay stahp tat hurts." You grab her arms and pout. You open the letter to see it's typed up, so you can't tell whose handwriting it is.

"You are so beautiful that you give the sun a reason to shine. Go to the main entrance of the school and look for another note. From there, follow the instructions to find out who this is." You tilt your head in confusion, fold the paper, and put it inside your bag. You decide to do what the letter told you.

-TIMESKIP-

You walk out to the front of the school and you see Koganei and Mitobe standing near a pole with a letter taped to it. You walk up to them and they immediately shove a dozen of roses in your hand and run away without saying a word. You tilt your head in confusion as you open the letter and read it.

"If I had a rose for every time I thought of you, I would be walking through my garden forever. Walk towards the corridor and you should be able to find a 'little guy' there. From there follow him."

"Little...guy?" You think to yourself as you walk towards the corridor. 

You get there and you look around to look for that 'little guy' in the letter. Until you hear a bark, you turn around to see Nigou with a red bowtie and a teddy bear next to him.

You squeal when you see Nigou and he pushes the teddy bear towards you as it has a letter in its hand. You pick up the teddy bear and open the letter.

"I lost my teddy bear, so can I sleep with you?" You giggle cause that pick-up line is so overused, but you continue reading, "Make sure you follow him until the end."

"Okay, Number Two, where to now?" You rub his head as you smile. He barks and starts leading you towards the school's gym. You are confused as to why he brought you here. Maybe he led you to the wrong place? Maybe he was looking for Kuroko instead of doing his job. But he scratches the door to the gym, whining. You open it to see the gym pitch black. He runs in and starts barking.

The lights turn on and you see Riko, Hyūga, Kyoshi, Furihata, Kagami, Kuroko, Koganei, and Mitobe each holding a basketball with one word written on it saying:

"(First and Last Name), will you be my..?" Nigou barks and signals you to turn around. You turn and you see Izuki standing there with a basketball that says:

"Girlfriend?" On the floor next to him are two boxes that read "YES" or "NO." Izuki smiles and hands you a pen. You blush and laugh.

"I hope these are washable, 'cause that'd be a waste of basketballs." You smile as you mark YES and hug Izuki. The team cheers as Izuki kisses you on the cheek.

"If I had to choose between breathing and loving you... I'd take my last breath to say 'I Love You'" The punster whispers into your ear.

"You're such a cheesy dork. I love your pick-up lines." You smile.
