You stare at Imayoshi's hand as he spins the pen with ease around his fingers. You were so concentrated on it, you didn't even hear him saying your name.

He pokes you on the forehead.

"Hey, pay attention, (First Name). I didn't skip practice for you to blank out like this." He says as he leans back on the chair.

"Imayoshi-kun, can you teach me how to do that?" You ask, still staring at his hand.

"Teach you what? This?" He flips his pen around again and again around his fingers.

"Yeah, how do you do that?" You look in awe. You're actually surprised a little thing like that could amaze you.

He sighs.

You bring out your favorite pen and pay attention to his explanation.

"First you hold the pen with your thumb, index finger, and middle finger. Then you take off your index finger and let the middle finger push the pen to spin around your thumb. Then you catch it in the way you would hold the pen if you were to write. Understand?" He looks at you, grinning.

You stare at him blankly, still confused. You attempt at it as he explains once again. He slowly does an example to help you, and you barely get it.

"Here, you hold the pen like this." He grabs your hand and moves the pen to the position. You blush at his soft touch. He properly places the pen on your fingers and you spin it. Perfect.

"Oh my god, I did it!" You clap excitedly.

"Good job, (First Name)." He smiles as he pats you gently on the head.

"Th-Thanks Imayoshi-kun."

-TIMESKIP-

After all the tutoring from assignments to flipping a pen around your fingers, it's gotten dark outside. So he decides to walk you home.

Once you're on the porch of your house, you turn around and smile at Imayoshi.

"Thanks for walking me home, tutoring me in (Any Subject), and teaching me that trick~" You smile at him him.

"You're welcome, and oh, there's plenty of more tricks I'll teach you." He smirks at you.

So I should explain why I've decided to use this scenario. If you haven't watched the end of Seirin vs Tōō's game in the Winter Cup. There was a scene where Imayoshi and Yoshinori were talking inside the library(?) and he was doing this trick I BARELY learned this year with spinning a pen/pencil around your thumb and it really sparked an idea in me. So sorry for the confusion and if it was short. I hope you enjoyed it though~
