"So. What song are we singing?" Jamie asked as she put in her last earring.

We convinced my mom and dad to have a karaoke thing throughout the entire barbecue.

My parents loved the idea and thought it was a good way for the packs to bond. Since anyone from either pack could do it.

Of course. They made me announce everything.

Hello stage fright.

"I don't know." I said applying a little eyeshadow. "Sapphire you pick."

"Hmmm." She hummed rubbing her chin. "I got it! Lips are Moving by Meghan Trainor."

"I love that song!" Jamie yelled giving Sapphire a high five.

"Nicely done young patawon." I giggled and Sapphire gave me a bow.

"Girls!" My mom yelled waking up the stairs. "Well don't you girls looking stunning."

"Why thank ya." Jamie laughed.

"Come one. Everyone's heading outside and Kaydon's pack is arriving." My mom said.

"Coming." I smiled.

"Thank you everyone for coming." I said smiling as I stood in front of everyone. "This barbecue is to celebrate the treaty signed between the Red Moon Pack and the Midnight Rose Pack."

I stopped and smiled as everyone cheered.

Okay. So far so good. Haven't thrown up yet.

I raised my hand so everyone would quiet down.

"And to celebrate this. We will be eating a lot food and also have karaoke throughout the entire night. And the only way to make that possible was if I came up here and talked. And I have stage fright. So it was kinda hard to agree."

I blushed as everyone started laughing.

"Oh. Believe me. It was a joke." I laughed as they laughed harder. "Anyway. I thought having karaoke would be a good way for our packs to bond." I smiled as everyone clapped. "The food is over there and the games are on the other side of the yard. And there is a playground for al he pups to play on. And karaoke will start in 10 minutes. So let's get this party started!" I yelled as everyone cheered.

I walked off stage and started to breathe hard.

"Never let me agree to talk in front of crowd again." I said as Jamie and Sapphire walked up to me.

They nodded. "Will do."

"Can you please bring out the other fruit that is in the kitchen dear?" My mom asked appearing out of nowhere.

Well she is a mom so. That's like her freaking super power.

"Sure thing." I nodded.

"We'll help." Jamie said as Sapphire nodded.

We quickly walked to the kitchen and grabbed all the leftover fruit.

"Hey Alex?" I heard from behind me.

I put the fruit bowl back down on the counter and turned around to see Kaydon, James, and Bo.

"Hey." I smile starting to feel all hot.

"Umm. Y-ou look good." He stuttered with a red face as he kept his hands behind his back.

'Aww. He's stuttering.' Jamie teased through the link.

'The big bad alpha is blushing.' Sapphire helped.

I tried to covered up my laugh with a cough.

Keyword: tried.

James and Bo gave me a weird look, but Kaydon looked like he was to focuses on setting to even notice.

"Thank you." I smiled as I felt my cheeks get red. "You look good too."

"Thank you." He grinned giving me a white toothy smile.

Damn that smile.

"Kaydon." Bo said giving him a nudge with his arm.

"Oh right." Kaydon said remembering something.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Uh. The-these are for you." He said sheepishly as he pulled a bouquet of white roses out from behind his back.

So that's why he wouldn't show his hands.

"Oh my gosh." I gushed in shock. "These are beautiful."

"Asher told me white roses were your favorite." He smiled as he handed them to me.

I mentally squealed as I took them from him and looked in the cabinet for a vase.

I filled the vase up with water and put the flowers in it.

I made a mental note to bring those up to my room later.

"Thank you so much Kaydon." I gushed again and I jumped in his arms.

He caught me with ease and pulled me more into him.

He put his nose by my neck and sniffed.

I was about to ask him what the hell he was doing, but then I remembered that for some odd reason, the guy always does that too his mate. My mom said something about it calms their wolf down. I don't know.

I tried to pull back, but Kaydon kept his arm right around my waist.

"Kaydon?" I asked.

He seemed to snap out of it as he quickly pulled back. "S-sorry."

I laughed at his face. "It's okay."

He smiled. "Would you girls like to join us for some food?"

I nodded. "Sounds nice."

I picked up the fruit bowl and say James and Bo smiling down and Sapphire and Jamie.

I mentally laughed as I watched the girls blush as they hooked arms with them.

Wonder what that's about.

Kaydon led the way outside as I put the fruit bowl on the table and grabbed the plate that Kaydon held out to me.

I smiled a thank you and shoved food on my plate.

What. I'm hungry. I don't give a rats ass if I'm a girl. If I wanna eat, I will eat.

After me piling food on my plate, the six of us found a place on the grass and started to eat.

I smiled as I looked around and watched the meme era of both packs hanging out and having fun.

It was the first time that I saw no fighting and anger between everyone.

But I could still see Summer and her two little bitch ass friends giving me a death glare by the bonfire.

Ugh. Get over troll.

"Alex!" I heard my name.

"What?" I asked snapping out of it.

"You need to go tell everyone that karaoke is starting." Jamie said.

"You're right." I yelled as I hopped up and ran from the stage.

I walked up the steps and tapped on the microphone to make sure it works.

"Hello?" I tested out.

They seemed to hear and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

Shit. Stage fright. Hello again.

I took a deep breathe and laughed as Jamie and Sapphire were giving me a thumbs up.

"I hope everyone is enjoying themselves." I had to pause because everyone started to hoot and holler. "Well that's good to hear. I would just like to say that karaoke is now open. All you have to do is just stepped right up here after you tell the dj what song you are singing so he can put the lyrics up on the screen for ya." I said pointing over to him and he just stood up with a smile and waved.

"And this won't be the normal kind of karaoke most of you know. We have a drum set, some bass guitars, and some electric guitars slim with some acoustic guitars. There are three screens to look off of for the people who are singing. One by the drums and two up top towards the front of the stage. I know for karaoke all you do is sing. But that's kinda boring, so why not play instruments." I said shrugging as everyone clapped. "Now just because they are up here, doesn't mean you have to play them. We can have the dj put the music up for you instead. So, let's sing." I smiled as everyone started to clap again.

As I was walking down the steps, I saw Kaydon, James, and Bo run up to the dj.

He winked at me as he walked past me so he could get to the stage.

"What was that about?" I asked as I sat back down next to the girls.

Sapphire shrugged. "All I know is that they said something about singing."

"They can sing?" I asked shocked.

I just didn't see Kaydon as the type of person who can sing.

But if he could, well damn. Fine by me. I have a hot mate in a leather jacket and black cowboy boots.

"Hello everyone." Kaydon said with a bright smile. "As most of you know, I am alpha Kaydon of the Midnight Rose Pack, and on the bass guitar, we have Bo who is my third. And on the drums, we have James who is my beta. We will be singing Honey Bee by Blake Shelton. This song goes out to my wonderful mate who I found two days again. Ms. Alex Taylor."

I gasped as everyone looked at me with admiration and awe.

I just realized that now everyone knows we are mates. This is the first time that he spoke about it in public.

He took a deep breathe as he walked up the microphone and started to strum the guitar.

I zoned out as I watched Kaydon sing and strum the guitar.

I sat there amazed as just stared at him as he sand and looked right at me the whole time. He never took his eyes off of me throughout the entire song.

But I snapped out of it when I heard James' and Bo's voice trail off and the only one who was singing was Kaydon.

He did one final strum and closed his eyes.

Everyone gave them a standing ovation including me.

Kaydon opened his eyes and smiled while waving tit he crowd.

"Give it up for my boys!" Kaydon shouted as James and Bo stood up smiling.

"I think I'm in love." Jamie said smiling.

"Me too. I've never had this feeling before." Sapphire agreed staring off into space.

"Bo playing bass. Damn." Jamie smirked.

"Did you see James on those drums?" Sapphire asked fanning herself. "It's getting a little hot up in here."

"I need to uh ask Alex one question." Kaydon asked as everyone simmered down.

I turned my attention back to him as he put the guitar back on the stand.

"I would like to ask if Alex would be my-" he started to say but his voice cut off.

We looked at him confused as he tried to speak.

"My." He tries again but nothing came out. "My."

He growled when he knew it wasn't coming out again.

James sighed as he walked up to Kaydon.

"My girlfriend." Kaydon said as James hit him on he back.

I stood there shocked as everyone turned to look at me.

Kaydon grew more and more nervous when k didn't answer.

I shook my head clearing all my thoughts and smiled at him.

"Yes!" I shouted so he could hear me.

His grin reached from ear to ear and he fist pumped the air.

People cheered and clapped as I tried to keep my blush down. But that obviously wasn't working.

"Our turn!" Sapphire yelled as we ran towards the stage.

We were about to walk on when the boys stopped us.

"Good luck." James winked at Sapphire.

"You too." Bo smiled down at Jamie.

The girls blushed and quickly walked up the stage.

"Knock 'em dead....girlfriend." Kaydon smiled and winked at me.

"Oh. We will." I smirked as I pecked his cheek.

"Hello everyone." Jamie smiled into her microphone.

"We will be sing Lips are Moving by Meghan Trainor." Sapphire finished.

I laughed as a group of girls from both packs shouted saying that they love this song.

I looked down by my parents and saw Asher give me a sad smile and a thumbs up.

I sighed realizing how much I actually missed him.

After this song, I decided I was gonna go talk to him.

I was about to sing the next verse, but I sensed that's something was wrong.

Everyone looked at me confused, before I saw a figure walk out of the tree line.

"Rogue." I growled through the microphone.

Everyone gasped and Kaydon, James, and Bo all jumped on stage.

Why is James and Bo protecting the girls?

Unless....

"What do you want?" A voice growled through the forest.

I snapped out of my trial of thought as the rogue kept getting closer and closer.

I watched and Trevin, Roger, and Daniel all ran towards him.

They tackled the rogue and brought him over to a fuming Asher.

"What the hell do you want?" Asher growled.

Kaydon walked me over to my parents and my dad grabbed on to me.

Kaydon was about to protest but quickly shut his mouth when he saw my dad's look.

"Don't kill me. I'm the just the messenger." The rogue smirked as he held up his hands.

"What the hell do you want?" Levi growled as he took a threatening step towards the man.

"Kyle wants to say hi." The rogue smirked yet again as he looked me in the eye.

I gasped as I knew what he was talking about.

Kaydon stepped closer to me and my dad held onto me tighter.

I saw my mom tense.

"Kyle?" My mom asked scared.

Does she know him too?

"Yes. Kyle. Alex would know him." The rogue said shrugging.

"What does he mean sweetie?" My mom asked looking at me with fearful eyes.

"I met some guy named Kyle at the mall." My voice was small.

"Put him in the cellar!" My dad yelled.

Trevin nodded as he and the other two guards dragged him over.

"We need to talk." My mom said quickly.
