Hi guys, i meant to do this chapter yesterday but my dad had me a bit busy so i couldn't really do it after i passed out.

Here's the recap (can't write the exact scenario in words so i'll describe it in the best way i can)
You met Cala Maria and Captain Briney let her take over the tour of the ocean. You and her got to know each other, inside and out, and spent the rest of the day chatting and hanging out together as friends, cala Maria though it would be a fun idea to take you out on a date the next day and you agreed to meet up with her again so those events bring you up to now. On with our story!

You woke up early because today was the day you were going out on a date with your crush, Cala Maria, to a nice spot for you two to hang out together. You looked through your closet and decided to go for a casual dress in f/c with matching flats/boots. You decided to put on a nice necklace and some nice matching earrings. When it was a minute before the date, you decided to do a quick run through all the parts of inkwell isle to say hi to everyone, check in on them, and chat for a bit before making it to the docks but you stopped as soon as you saw Cala maria in a beautiful blue and green mermaid dress, sitting in front of you smiling. Your jaw dropped and your eyes were bigger than dinner plates as you gazed up at her beauty and almost killing your heart enough to take you to heaven. "Y-you look amazing Maria! I almost thought you were a sea angel and that i died and went to heaven. You really own up to the title of "Sea Maiden"." you confessed dreamily while grabbing her hand and kissing it like a gentleman would for a beautiful woman. She giggled, fluttering her big, luscious eyelashes and looking down at you with her eyes glistening in the moonlight. (Yeah, this date will be at night because during the day, the sun will make it hard for her to stay wet *not that way you dirty sinners*) "Heh, you l-look beautiful too. That dress looks amazing on you, i just wanna rip it off you and see how gorgeous you really are~" she hissed as her voice had suddenly become deep and seductive, but she shook her head, snapping out of it as if she had switched personalities and giggled nervously, blushing darker than a sea urchin. "S-sorry about that, i didn't mean for that to come out...i don't know what came over me. A-anyways, why are you here so early?" she asked nervously, hoping you wouldn't be disgusted with her sudden perverse behavior towards you and stop being her friend. "Oh it's ok, i was trying to restrain myelf from saying anything too vulgar toward you so you wouldn't think i'm some perverted girl who only likes you for your looks and body. I came because i-i wanted to be early so i could pick you up and be on time. Unfortunately, i live alllllllll the way in Inkwell Isle on the farther Westside where Cagney and Hilda are so i would've been late if i had decided to go when it was time for us to go instead of before the designated time. Get it?" you explained to her in full detail and you watched for her reaction to see her eyes widen in realization and say "oh" before nodding her head in understanding. "Speaking of time, what time is it, y/n?" she inquired, hoping you two weren't late and you both could still make it. You checked your watch and saw you two still had time to go on your date so you told her,"we still have time so let's get going!" "but how am i gonna move? I can't flop around on land, getting this dress i put on for you all dirty and grassy" she stated worriedly and frowning as she put her hands on the tail of her dress and started playing with the hem of the skirt. You realized this and facepalmed, feeling like an idiot for forgetting to plan ahead for this exact situation and then it hit you: you could carry her there. However, there was yet another issue, you might not be strong enough to pick her up and carry her all the way there without stopping and possibly getting crushed under her thick tail. "You know what, i'll carry you there, i may not be strong but i'll try...for you" you said confident and determined, whispering the last part under your breath so she wouldn't hear you. She looked at you with shocked eyes and gasped."what?! No no! Miss y/n, i couldn't make you do that! There has to be another way other than that way! Maybe we can ask one of your friends to help get us there?" she asked, not wanting to crush you and ruin your first date by injuring you and possibly killing you with her weight. "There's no other way. The phantom express is only for the dead and everyone else is asleep and i wouldn't make it back in time if i traveled to any parts of Inkwell to get any of them to help. This is the only way, Maria. I've been through worse so i can do this especially to help you move around the land without dirtying your dress." you told her, wanting to make it on time and not ruin the date for either of you too, she sighed in defeat and put herself in a position that was easy enough for you to lift her off the ground. "Ok, i'm ready. Just try not to overexert yourself in carrying me- oh my!" she exclaimed as she felt herself being lifted off the ground by you. You giggled and smirked, feeling relieved that she wasn't too heavy for you to carry. "Alright, let's go, Maria! Onward we go!" you shout but not too loud to wake the neighbors and you take easy steps before you get used to her weight and start jogging towards the spot you both agreed to have your date at, you feel her wrap her arms around your neck and look down at her with a warm smile. You eventually start running, realizing you and Maria are really late for the date and you have to get her there as quick as you could without stopping or stumbling over. "Mari, you have to be my eyes! I can't see that well at night and i can't keep my eyes out for stuff that i might trip over while i'm running and carrying you." you instructed her and she nodded, turning her head so she could watch out for anything that could pose a hazard for you while your getting from point A to point B. "Rock!" she warned and you jumped over it, still holding the giant mermaid in your arms like she was a precious, porcelain vase and you didn't want to drop her and damage her. Every few minutes she would yell "Tree!" "Rock" "Log" "Big Puddle" and you would dodge and manuever around them to move quicker to where you both needed to be. "Almost there!" you cheered, seeing the setup you made near the lake come into view and you finally made it to the lake, putting Cala Maria on the ground gently and sat in front of your plate of food, lighting the candle to set the mood and shed a little light besides the moon in the starry sky. "Wow, this setup looks absolutely wonderful! Did you do this all yourself?" she asked in amazement and awe as she admired how well the setting you two were in was and she noticed the area was getting brighter and saw bright lighting bugs floating around her and you, flashing their rear ends to communicate with each other. "What are these flying bugs that flash their rears in the air?" she asked with a child-like curiousity, looking at them with amazement and her eyes shining with their light. "Oh those? They're called fireflies and they use their lights to talk to one another like morse code. Morse code is the use of light or clicks to exchange information with one another when there wasn't pen and paper or any type of technology back then." you informed the curious mermaid as she looked at all the things around her with the exact excitement a kid who celebrated their first christmas has. She eventually calmed down and grabbed her plate, eating the food on it. "Wow this food is delicious! Did you make this?" she asked, beaming with excitement and happiness. "Yeah i made it and i had a little help with the setup from the boys and Cagney, who helped me buy some flowers and obviously not real ones because i didn't want to upset him. Speaking of which, i got these for you." you confirmed for her and pulled out a bouquet of lavenders for her and she gasped, flattered by the gesture and blushing as she carefully took the bouquet and sniffed it, smilng while enjoying the aroma the flowers emitted. "These flowers smell nice! Thank you so much! I love them" she praised the flowers, feeling grateful for the gift and she gasped, realizing she had no gift for you. "Oh no! I don't h-have a gift for you!" she whimpered and her eyes welled up with tears and her small, pink lips quivered in disappointment. "I-i'm s-sorry!!!" she cried, covering her eyes and sobbing into her palms in sadness, you looked at her with confusion but then you realized what she was crying about and went over to comfort her. "Hey hey mari, it's ok. You didn't have to get me anything." you reassure her but she refused. "No, w-wait! I have something for you!" she cheered, feeling a sudden burt of hope and she retrieved her gift she made for you: a necklace made from a small metal chain with a heart-shaped shell attached to it with y/n ♡ etched into it. Your pupils grew and your eyes watered as you gently took the small necklace from her hands, smiling at the gift that your friend had put so much effort into making for you. You looked at her with a look that said you were touched by the gift she made and hugged her, crying into her dress, touched by the thought and effort that was put into it. "Maria, i love the necklace! It's beautiful and it...reminds me of you." you said the last part in realization and looked up at her, beaming and you didn't know how to express your happiness and love for her. You and her had already finished your food so you two spent the remainder of your date stargazing. Hilda happened to see you two and showed you both the constellation, telling you the astrological signs, telling you what astrological signs you and Maria were, and what each of them meant in astrology. You two said your goodbyes to her as she took off and soared through the starlit sky. You two smiled at each other and gazed into each other's eyes lovingly. Her eyes reflected the night sky and the stars and with the moonlight shining on her, she looked even more breathtaking than she did during the day in the ocean. It felt like time stopped and everything had slowed down for you two, your hearts synchronized with each beat as well as your breathing, you hadn't noticed that you were leaning in and she was too. You both blushed and looked away, afraid of what might happen if neither of you did. "I-it's getting a little la-" you were cut off by a soft pair of warm,plump, pink lips meeting your small s/c ones in sync with each other as if they were missing puzzle pieces and they had found their missing half. You blushed, kissing her back and cupping her cheeks with your small hands and pulling away for air. "W-wow... T-that was our first k-kiss" you stuttered breathlessly, feeling your heart explode like fireworks and your face burning like a fire, Maria's face doing the same. "Y-yeah it was... I liked it a lot." she admitted shyly, looking at you from her bangs blushing like a tomato. "Hehe, well if you like it so much, want another one?" you offered slyly, feeling more confident about your feelings for the beautiful mermaid who had stolen your heart from the moment you two had locked eyes for the first time.
*WARNING: Small lime ahead*

She giggled ,blushing and nodded,locking lips with you once more and putting out the candle with her fingertips while holding you with her other hand. You felt something soft and moist lick your lips, trying to pry them apart to get inside your mouth, it was her tongue but you weren't gonna make it easy so you teased her playfully by not opening your mouth for her, she noticed this and gently bit on your lower lip, earning a small whimper from you and entry into your warm mouth, where you two tongue wrestled until she won dominance over you, exploring every corner of your corner leaving no space untouched and finding your sweet spot on the roof of your mouth, causing you to gasp and let out a shaky sigh, feeling your face turn red as well as hers in need of air to breath so you both, unfortunately and sadly, had to pull away for air.

*LIME OVER*

"W-wanna... g-go on... another date... t-tomorrow?" you asked, panting for air, feeling hot and out of breath after that heated makeout session you two had. She blushed, nodding as she couldn't speak after how long you two had spent kissing and you collected everything, putting it all in a bag that Maria had taken from you once everything was in it and you picked her up, carrying her back home, going through the same way you got her there, running until you saw the docks and set her down gently. "Well i had fun on our date, miss Y/n" she said, having enjoyed the date and had fun with you. You were about to leave but she stopped you. "W-wait! Before you go, i have something to tell you..." she trailed off and you stopped, turning around and walking back to her to hear what she wanted to tell you. I hope we don't stop being friends and she hates me for tonight...you thought anxiously. "What I wanted to tell you is that since i first saw you, i thought you were the most beautiful, cutest, funniest, and nicest person i'd ever met and then i realized that you were more than that... You're beautiful, cute,funny,amazing,smart, a great cook,thoughtful,fast,passionate, caring and so much more! What i'm saying is that all those qualities and traits are amazing aspects of what make you...you and i love you for all of that and everything about you. Your flaws, your perfections, your OCD, your energetic and hyper personality, your shyness, your everything. You're my world,my ocean, my light, and my moon and stars. I love you and i hope you reciprocate these feelings because you've stolen my heart and you're my first love. I don't want things to be awkward between us or for us to just put this behind us and pretend nothing happened." she confessed her love for you without missing a beat and blushed when she finished, rubbing her arm nervously, closing her eyes and bracing for the heartache and rejection. She got the exact opposite of what she was expecting... "M-Maria. I-I didn't know you felt that way about me. I do return your love. I think those exact things about you and more, Cala Maria. Your hair, your eyes, your smile, your laugh, your voice. But those aren't the only things i love about you. I also love your kindness, your friendliness, your politeness, your child-like wonder about things on land that you haven't learned about yet, all the things about you that make up the sum of your parts. I love them all and i love you too. We haven't known each other long enough to further our relationship yet though." you admitted your feelings to her, feeling a huge weight off your chest and relief that she felt how you felt for her. "How long is that exactly, y/n?" she asked, tilting her head in a cute way, causing her hair to move to the side her head tilted. "For a couple weeks which is probably 5 or 3 weeks tops." you assumed,scratching your chin in thought and shrugged. "Anyways, goodnight Maria, see ya tomorrow my Beautiful mermaid" you bid her goodbye and kissed her goodnight, hugging her as she climbed back into the ocean and waved at you as you walked away and waved back, heading home and falling asleep after doing your nightly routine of brushing your teeth, taking a shower, changing into your nightclothes and falling asleep dreaming of Cala Maria being your girlfriend and being yours and no one else but yours.
