Aate ka Halwa
Ingredients:
Purified Butter (Ghee)- 3 serving spoon
Wheet flour (Aata)- 1 bowl
Gram flour (Besan) - 1 serving spoon
Sugar (equal to the wheat flour)
Water (3 times the wheat flour)
Dry fruits- Thinly sliced Almond and raisins
Directions:
1. Heat some purified butter/ghee on low flame and add wheat flour and gram flour to it. See that the flour mixes properly and if there is any need to add more purified butter then add it.
2. Roast the flour till it starts emiting a delicious smell and it is of light brown shade.
3. Add sugar, dry fruits and mix them properly. Immediately, add water (which is thrice the amount of flour taken by you)
5. Make sure there are no lumps.
4. Keep stirring till it becomes thick and the halwa stops sticking to the sides of the pan. (It happens because the purified butter contained in it is separated.)
P.S. If the halwa gets too dark, you can add a little milk along with water. Milk lightens the shade immediately.
