"I would usually say no but I'm drunk and you're too attractive to say no to."
———————————————

It has been eight years years, almost a decade. A lot has happened during these eight years. Eight years where Ji-hye and Sang-woo stopped communicating. They both went their separate ways after having trouble with each other. Both of them were busy with their future and didn't have enough time with each other. Everything went officially downwards when Sang-woo started putting all his attention on money which led him to siphon money from his clients. Ji-hye didn't want to be with a guy who stole money off of people. She could call herself a hypocrite since she stole money from others as well.

Ji-hye was walking down the roads of Ssamundong. She was a little dismal by the good memories that happened on these roads. Her heart ached remembering, sometimes she wished  she could just start living in another life and forget everything from her past life. She would feel tranquility. She stopped when she saw Sang-woo's Fish Store. Ji-hye wanted to go to the store but felt anxious.

Her feet lead her to being in front of the store. She looked around and saw that this store seemed to be in good shape, thank God. She cleared her throat which caused Mrs.Cho to turn back to look at her. Mrs.Cho's eyes grew brighter than the stars.

"Ji-hye? Oh my, how beautiful you grew." Mrs.Cho's vivacious actions made Ji-hye smile "It's so good to see you, how have you been?"

"I've been better." She lied, it's actually a whole nightmare "it's so good to see you too."

"It's so nice to see you after all these years." Mrs.Cho repeated and went over to give Ji-hye a hug and a kiss on the cheek "So, have you talked to Sang-woo?"

"Ah no." Ji-hye laughed awkwardly "we haven't talked in a couple of years."

"Well I can catch you up. Sang-woo is actually in America for a business trip." Mrs.Cho smiled proudly

"Really? That's good for him." Has his business gotten better?"

"Yes! I knew he would be a good businessman."

Ji-hye gave her a small smile, she saw a figure starting to run up to the shop from the corner of her eye. She turned her head and saw Gi-hun, her eyes widened when she felt him hug her and lift her up.

"Ji-hye! It's been so long." Gi-hun hugged her tighter

"It's nice to see you too, Gi-hun." She chuckled, Gi-hun placed her down

"You hug tightly, the poor girl can't breathe." Mrs.Cho glanced at Gi-hun but then over at the fish that were on the table

"Where have you been all these years? I haven't seen you roam these streets like, in forever."

"I moved across the city, but I wanted to come back home so I decided to come back." Ji-hye played with her fingers, which made Gi-hun look at her hands and saw an engagement ring.

"You're married?" This caused Mrs.Cho to turn around quickly

  "No-yes..well- I was about to."

  "Well what happened?" Mrs.Cho asked

-

Gi-hun and Ji-hye roamed the roads of Ssamundong like they used to when she was in college. Usually back then it would be Sang-woo, Gi-hun, and Ji-hye if she didn't have plans with Joon-ho.
Ji-hye smiled at the memory.

"It feels good having someone I know back. Since Sang-woo is in America. He is the pride and joy of Ssamundong."  Gi-hun looked over at Ji-hye "Have you two contacted each other?"

"No. Last time I talked to him was when I needed to pick up something I left at his apartment. Which was eight years ago."

"I was waiting for you and Sang-woo to get married." Gi-hun admitted "Also, sorry for your past engagement."

"It's alright. Maybe I wasn't supposed to get married."

"Did he mean something special? You still wear that ring after what he did to you."

"I use it as if I'm married so I can get in places or lie to men. It works all the time." Both of them laughed "So... how is it going with your daughter?"

"It's good. I'm actually going to pick her up for dinner today since it's her birthday."

"Aww, tell her that I said happy birthday, and enjoy this day since this moment doesn't last forever."

"I'll make sure I will. Well this is my stop, I have to go meet up with a friend." Gi-hun smiled at her, "It was nice talking to you."

"It was nice seeing you too, Gi-hun." He gave Ji-hye one last big hug. "Hope I get to see you soon."

-

Ji-hye sat at a random bench she found. She didn't want to go back home—she physically couldn't. She didn't want to be reminded that she's in debt with over ten people. Her bills kept on stacking more and more as she couldn't find a job that suited her. She took a sip of beer, she wasn't the type for beer but she just wanted to feel free. As she was drinking, she felt someone's presence beside her but she ignored it.

After a couple of minutes, he was still sitting there. Ji-hye glanced then turned around but then glanced at him again holy shit she thought to herself. An attractive man with a briefcase was sitting beside her. She glanced at him one more time before looking away which caused him to smirk.

"Ma'am." He said, "Would you like to play a game with me?"

"I would usually say no but I'm drunk and you're too attractive to say no to, so... what's the game?" The man smiled

"You've played ddajki before, haven't you?"

"Yeah, I was good at it too. Well depending on how I felt, why?"

  "Play ddajki with me."

"Sure. But, what do I get if I win?"

"Each time you win, I will give you 100,000 won. " Ji-hye began to listen closely "However, each time I win, you must give me 100,000 won."

  "It's a deal I guess."

"I'll let you go first." The man opened his briefcase and Ji-hye saw money in it, she looked at it in awe, and the man took out two ddajki cards. One is blue and the other one is red. "Chose a color."
