INFO / STORY / BOC

For all y'all readers out here I put in a little info page for more about the story and some things you might need to know overall.

It starts with an intro, then a little description on the direction I'm taking this crossover, then it goes into the BOC list! If you're used to reader-inserts then I suggest skipping the first part, but definitely pay attention to the second and last part!

~ AN INTRO FROM YOUR AUTHORESS, LIZ AKA AMORETTIELLE~

Basics of the basics. A reader insert is where there are name blanks where a normal character name would be, you can imagine your name in there or an OC's name and appearance and things like that. Basically, you take the place of the main character, and yes this is written in second person.

However, that doesn't mean I don't have control of some aspects of the reader. Unfortunately, I can't just completely make this open to all options and choices, so the reader will have her own personality of sorts.

Sometimes you may not agree with things written. That's ok, I can't mold a reader that everyone agrees with and I'm not going to compromise plot and everything I have planned to try.

I will do my best to give you some genuinely interesting scenarios to read about, while trying to avoid grammar errors and such while I can (anyone feel free to point out grammatical errors to me, I have no problem with that).

Though I do have to add a warning. Sometimes there will be swearing and violence in here. Later on it might turn more intense and a bit less PG 13. I expect that you guys are mature enough to handle everything in this book as is. There will be swearing, and a hint of gore as well (I mean it is about vampires after all.)

Terminology used:

BOC: Boy of Choice, basically your preferred love interest.

POV: Point of View, as in who's perspective it's from.

(Name): Where you insert your name

(Basically anything written in parenthesis is where you insert something about you) Example: Eye color, Hair color etcetera.

'Something italicized between a single quote= thoughts.'

Results:

Yea, so results. Those fluffy moments where you get to pick out your BOCs from a list of them and read some sort of generic scene where the two of you grow closer. I don't do those.

I think that some of the moments that should be used in results are really important for developing relationships.

So I can't write important scenes which really develop relationships as results. I want y'all to be able to read it and then fall in love with a character that you don't usually like. I won't do a lot of results. I would rather write them in as literal scenes and spread them throughout the story, because then I know that everyone will be able to see them. You can fall in love with characters you never thought you'd fall in love with.

~ ABOUT THE STORY ~

So I decided to take three vampire stories and then combine them all together. Owari no Seraph, Diabolik Lovers, and Vampire Knight! Though something interesting is that they all have different approaches to vampirism.

The story is going to mainly be set in the Owari no Seraph world! Despite the story being a crossover, I would never introduce characters to you expecting you to know who they are. I love to see what makes a character tick, so when (Name) meets someone for the first time, you'll meet them for the first time too! Even if she knew them before, I'll be sure to explain how they really know each other at some point or another. For me, fanfic is a lot like a book, you can't assume that everyone knows something- let them figure it out as the character does.

HOWEVER, I am caught up on the Owari no Seraph manga, and I can already promise you that I will not be following the story word for word. I have not watched the anime, but I will use both as research, though the manga is my main source.

When you add a new character in you change the dynamic that existed (imagine hanging out without one of your friends, isn't it different when they're around?) When you add a lot of characters, that's even more apparent. Though, I'll still be sticking to some of the core themes and important arcs. I do feel like the story could be rather fast paced, with a lot of time-skips where teamwork and things like that could be elaborated on. It's not always about the action, it's about character and relationship development. 

By the way I'm in love with character development (probably translates to torture) so you'll be seeing a lot of that. Even within characters that were not main characters in their original series, I love giving them some time to shine!

Though the antagonist and the conflict? Well stay tuned. There's a bit of all of the three worlds in here now, though like I said, you won't have to know all three fandoms well to follow the storyline. 

~FINALLY THE MOMENT EVERYONE'S BEEN WAITING FOR!!! THE BOCS~

All right. So here's how things work. I make a giant list of BOCs. They'll be arranged by show and then by alphabetical order by FIRST name. The thing is that there are some characters I don't consider for BOC status and that usually has to do with plot.

So if I don't have a BOC listed, you CAN ask for them, but I make NO promises. I probably don't have them listed for a reason.

Characters which are bolded are DEFINITE BOCs, according to my planning.

Characters which are italicized are characters I'm hesitant on, though can incorporate if anyone really wants it.

And normally written characters are possible though I don't really want to write them unless they are the ONLY character that you like. I will ask you to justify them however.

Frankly, the more BOCs I have, the less in-depth relationship development. Less BOCs, more in depth relationship development and romance.

(I like all the night class bishes, so you could honestly ask for all of them and I would happily write them. To tell the truth, I might end up incorporating that anyways since I think they never get enough attention.)

Please make sure you've read the rules for requesting BOCs, and just keep in mind that the less BOCs the better the relationship development!
