Chapter 1
Rewritten
Chapter 1: Scott
I swerved into the parking lot of school quickly. Finding my favorite spot close by the entrance in front, I saw two of my friends, Jake and Logan getting out of their cars as well. As I got out, activating the car alarm with a push of a button we fist-bumped each other and entered the school building while telling them about my hook up with this cutie Chloe last Saturday.
Beautiful girls passed by as we walked through the halls of Boulder High with waves, tittering to their friends. The boys and I were on the lacrosse team, one of the best in the state, they all wanted a piece of us.
I winked, they giggled and gasped happily before skipping off. I smiled as it boosted my mood. Jake asked me if he wanted to hang on Friday after lacrosse practice.
"Maybe, I got to meet with coach later." Jake nodded patting my shoulder. I had Physics for first period so I told the guys I'll see them at lunch. There was no point of Physics, it's Math all over again but I needed it to graduate. My GPA was good enough, 3.30, and plus I'm gunning for scouts and a lacrosse scholarship. Walking in the classroom and sat in my seat directed to the middle of the room. The classwork already on the board I searched my pockets for a pencil, empty. I forgot it in my car. I tapped the girl's shoulder sitting next to me. "Hey do have a pencil I could borrow?" I asked.
She looked at me and said "sure," giving me the one she was holding.
"What about you?" I asked curiously.
"I have extras, you're welcome." She gave a smile and turned away to the side.
"Thanks." Our teacher came in, my attention to her as she began the lesson. Glancing at the girl seated next to me a few more times, she lifted herself up with another pencil in her hand. I checked out her appearance: curvy body, curly hair, brown eyes. She's cute. Letting out a yawn, covered her mouth with an open palm and wiped her eye. At least she knew this subject was useless too.
Class ended, me being the first out the door I leaned against the wall, everyone walking out. I waited to chat up curly, maybe she could be my next date. I didn't see her. I peeked inside if she stayed behind, she was talking Mrs J animatedly. I walked off heading to my next class.

Three periods later, I was starving. The cafeteria was serving beef burritos and Turkey sandwiches today. Stepping in my friends at the table already, sat by Logan. Our conversation consisted of when the new Final Fantasy game release date. I saw Rachel, the girl I'm taking out this weekend, walk toward us with two of her friends.
"Hey Scott, so what are we doing this weekend?" She asked with hazel flirty eyes as she ran her fingers through her brown hair. Asking her out last week earlier was easy: I twirled a hair strand, caressed her cheek and spoke how beautiful her eyes were. She literally lit up, eyes went huge and she squeaked yes.
"The week's not over yet," one of her friends muttered next to her, noticing that it's curly from Physics.
"I'll let you know," I winked. She squealed in excitement, bumping shoulders with her other cute friend. Curly rolling her eyes while carefully holding her tray of food.
"Hey, is there a problem?" I pointed at curly.
"Uhh... no," she said giving me an emotionless look, lips in a straight line.
"Maybe you could join us later," I suggested with a smirk.
She laughed dryly, "good one." She walked away to a table with her friends. Scoffing playfully, that's the first time anyone has ever said no. She seemed like a challenge, I love challenges.
The whole story has been rewritten and edited again. Hopefully for the last time. Rereading it makes me cringe. To my new and old readers, hope you like the new and revamped version!!
