Warriors and Apprentices are given the privilege to patrol every morning, dawn till dusk.

There are actually three types of patrols in this Clan. There's water patrol, border patrol, and hunting patrol.

Water patrol:

In RockClan, which is a clan that lives in an underground cave, also has access to groundwater. It is important that cats patrol the aquifer rivers at least once a day. Make sure the water isn't polluted, or is flooding the tunnel it runs through. If it floods, only the most experienced of cats can go and investigate. If the water is polluted, then the cats will have to move above ground to find water in puddles and by the lake.

Border Patrol:

Above ground, there are scent markers to signal to other cats that they are in their territory. If the scent is stale or weak, then the scent markers must be set. Most of the time, the markers must be set every two days at least. Border patrols altogether must be performed twice a day.

Hunting Patrol:

Hunting patrols are also above ground. There are some trees and places to hide so cats can stalk their prey. But most of the time, RockClan cats chase their prey. Hunting patrols are sent out three times a day.

If an apprentice or warrior is sick or is still recovering from past injuries, then they are not quite fit enough to patrol yet.
