The sunlight peeking in through the window wakes Cassandra up just moments before her alarm goes off. She slides her work phone off her pillow, looking at what Josh has on-tap today.

"Quick table read, on-sight rehearsal, and scene choreography," she mumbles. She gets up and digs through her suitcase, looking for something presentable for the day. She does her hair and makeup, leaves her hotel room and makes her way down to the lobby to meet the boys. She waves at her brother and trudges over to him and Hugh.

"I got you a coffee already," Jeremy hands her a Starbucks cup.

"Thank God. Who would've thought Greece would have a Starbucks," she says in disbelief.

"They actually have a few," Hugh adds. Cas nods her head and sips her drink, squeezing her eyes shut at the fantastic bitterness coffee has to offer. Jeremy motions for her to choose a chair. She sits down and looks studies the lobby.

"Where's Josh?" She asks.

"Not sure. We knocked on his door forty-five minutes ago and he said he'd be down in fifteen," Hugh answers. Cas raises an eyebrow.

"Well, we all have somewhere to be in the next hour and half, he better be up," Cas pulls her phone out and calls Josh.

No answer.

She calls again, just in case.

No answer.

"What the hell. I'm responsible for this kid," she puts her coffee down.

"Cas don't even worry-," Jeremy starts. She completely mutes him and pushes herself off the chair.

"Where are you going?" Hugh questions.

"I'm off give him a quick wakeup call," she angrily replies. She storms out of the lobby, jumping into the elevator and going back up to her floor. She looks in her notes for Josh's room number. Cas stands in front of the door, knocking a few times, receiving everything but an answer. She grabs the handle, attempting anything she can to get inside. Suddenly, the handle clicks, allowing her to open the door. This irritates her more, the fact that he forgot to lock his door sends her into a frenzy. She barges in, all the lights off, and finds Josh laying in his bed. A sour, rotten smell hit's her as soon as she treads through the room, throwing her off kilter.

"Dylan," she shouts. "Josh. Josh!" She starts to yell, shaking his limp body. She starts to feel him convulsing in some way. Her heart drops and she stutters for a moment before she steps back, watching the boy shake with his back to her. "Josh," she exclaims. Not knowing what to do, she pulls him onto his back, revealing a large grin spread across his red face.

"What the-," She's interrupted by the loud laughs escaping from Josh. Cas stands back in confusion as the boy suffocates on his own giggles. "hell...Josh, what the hell is going on?" She asks, crossing her arms.

"I'm- I'm really tired. I need to sleeeeee-," he starts his phrase, but can't even finish due another laughing fit. He face returns to a normal shade as he calms down, looking up at Cas. "Did you bring me any breakfast?" He asks slowly.

"What?" She asks, taking a step closer to him.

"It doesn't even have to be breakfast food, I'm just starving," he responds.

"Holy shit," Cas comes to a realization. "Are you seriously high right now?" She awaits her answer, glaring at the boy laying in bed.

"Cassie, what could possibly make you think that?" He responds, sitting up and running his hand through his golden locks.

"You really want me to answer that?" He deeply replies, raising an eyebrow. He nods. "Well, it smells like a skunk died in here, you're talking quite relaxed, you just asked me if I had food because you're suddenly famished, and you can't stop laughing. I'm not an expert or anything, but anyone with eyes can see right through this," she locks eye contact, trying to be stern, but quickly notices something else.

"You're eyes are bloodshot, Dylan!" She exclaims again.

"I'm just trying to have a good time, Cas," he responds.

"Okay, but this 'good time' is over. Get the hell up, shower, and get ready to leave for the table reading in about forty-five minutes. She turns on her heals, making her way to the door.

"Cassie, come back, I need help," he moans. As mad as she is, those butterflies flutter in her stomach again, but she quickly clears her throat and pushes them down. She looks back at the boy and takes a few steps toward him.

"What is it?" She asks impatiently. He slowly rolls around on the bed for a couple seconds before whispering:

"I don't think I can go today."

"Why not?" She crosses her arms again, now tapping her foot. "You just need to freshen up-,"

"I smoked ten minutes ago..." he admits. Cassie looks at him with wide eyes.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me, Josh." She yells at the boy. "This is not the reputation you want just days before shooting."

"It's not that big of a deal," he groans.

"Yes, it is. We represent each other now, and whatever you do makes me look bad!" She stomps her foot in frustration.

"You could never look bad, Cassandra," Josh says softly.

"Now is not the time for this. This is serious shit," she starts to pace, roaming around the room. Josh forces himself to stand up and he grabs the girl by her wrist, stopping her from walking in circles. She abruptly stops moving and gives him a look of surprise and confusion mixed into one. He wobbles closer to her, grabs her waist, and intertwines his fingers with hers, starting to sway as he hums the tune to Why Did It Have To Be Me. Cas attempts to break away, but after getting lost in Josh's eyes, there's no place she'd rather be. "You have some issues, Dylan..." she says under her breath.

"I mean, as long as I have an assistant, all my problems should be solved," he grins down at her as she laughs softly. "See, I don't even need to go to choreography later. You're all I need," he breathes. She blushes at his comment.

"You're absolutely bouldered," she snickers, her previous state of anger somehow fading. With Josh, she feels like she's the only girl in the world. It's not until she accidentally steps on his foot where she comes back to reality, gently pushing the boy off of her. She shakes her head and holds her hands up in defense.

"That was a cute couple seconds and all," she angrily mocks, "but you better be down stairs in two hours or so help me God," she waves her finger at Josh who returns her gesture by blowing a kiss and falling back onto his bed. Cas exits his hotel room and dials one of the director's assistant's number and holds the phone against her ear.

"Hi, this is Cassandra Smith. Josh Dylan isn't feeling too well this morning. He told me to tell you to go on with the table read, and to ask if you can somehow move his choreo to tomorrow?" She asks, aggressively twirling her hair while she waits for a response. "Mmhm, he's fine with being separated from the other boys. Rehearsal later today? Yes, he'll be there. Alright, thank you so much. Tell Mister Parker thank you, as well! Goodbye," she hangs up quickly and signs heavily. She texts Josh while she knows he's still awake:

Before she can even put her phone away, he responds:

She gasps at his response, swiping to delete the conversation. She mumbles something cruel under her breath as she wanders back to the elevator. As his assistant, she's not taking any chances with some type of 'scandal'.

But that doesn't mean she's not interested in this good time he mentioned...

💫

{This may not be important for some of you, but I changed the face-claim for Cassandra. It used to be Holly Earl but I think she looked way to young to play the part. If anyone's interested, go check the CAST&COMPANY chapter to see the new face of Cassie! Hope you guys are enjoying so far!}
