Chapter 02 - You and Me

After the filming, Taehyun was in his dressing room, preparing for his interview later with the podcast.

“Manager Seo” He called for his manager while looking at the magazine.

“Yes, Taehyun-ssi?” Manager Seo went beside him.

“Have you already found the place I told you?” Taehyun inquired.

“As for now, I have a list of places, but we need to check it first in person before we pay for it.” Manager Seo responded.

“Okay,” Taehyun replied.

“But, are you sure about that? You still have time to think properly again.” Manager Seo uttered.

Taehyun closed the magazine and put it on top of the drawer.

“I know what I'm doing, Manager Seo. I planned this for so long, I can't simply back out.” Taehyun retorted.

“I understand that you wanted to slowly disappear on the screen, but do you worry about your fan's reaction? You've been gaining popularity these days more than ever.” Manager Seo stated.

Taehyun was planning to leave his career as an actor. He's been acting for so long now, and he enjoyed most of the days of his acting career. But everything suddenly felt like acting was not the right path for him.

Everything becomes overwhelming every time he gained popularity. He doesn't want to become an actor forever, he also wants to experience a peaceful and happy life.

“I appreciate them, you know that, Manager Seo. But, I would rather not make things difficult for me. As long as I can leave my career without difficulty, I will do it.” Taehyun explained.

“If that's what you say, I'll support you.” Manager Seo sighed.

“Taehyun-ssi, your delivery is here.”

They heard one of the PR called Taehyun. Taehyun looked at the door of his dressing room and saw a young man with long black hair and a hat, wearing a vest from the restaurant. Because of his hat, Taehyun could barely see his face.

“Here's your order,” The delivery guy said and put them on top of the drawer.

For the first time, Taehyun got a delivery person who didn't freak out after finding out about him. It's been so rare for him to get a delivery person like this guy. And also, he likes the deep voice of this person.

“Thank you,” Taehyun smiled while looking at the delivery guy and saw his name on the vest.

C. Beomgyu.

That was the name of the delivery guy.

“You're welcome.”

And their eyes met for a moment when Beomgyu looked at him. Taehyun swears he felt odd in his stomach just by looking at Beomgyu's eyes.

“Taehyun-ssi, we got a call from the podcast, we should get going.” Manager Seo suddenly interpreted them.

Beomgyu bowed his head and left Taehyun's dressing room, while Taehyun was trying to find out why his heartbeat went fast and something felt like butterflies in his stomach.

“Taehyun, did you hear what I said?”

He snapped after hearing his manager's voice.

“Yeah, let's go now.”

He cleared his throat with a blush on his cheeks and stood up from his seat while his manager took the food he ordered.
