"This is such a bad idea!" Viktorija whispered as they tiptoed through the hallway.

"And?" Perry replied as she peered around a wall.

"Well.. you could've at least asked Potter for that cloak of his!" Viktorija whispered.

"Where's the fun in that?" Perry replied, stepping away from the wall and creeping down the corridor.

"Perry!" Viktorija whisper-shouted at her reckless best friend.

"Shh," Perry said putting a finger to her lips.

"I hope you do realize that we could get detention for this! If one of the paintings wake up, or if Filch catches us—"

"Catches me," Perry corrected. "You won't get detention, I promise."

"Perry, why in the world are we risking our free time for a few pesky pixies?"

"They've been locked up in Lockhart's classroom with a cloth on top of their cage," Perry whispered. "I'm risking it because it's the right thing to do!"

"Okay, so leave it to a Gryffindors or Hufflepuff," Viktorija said. "You're a Slytherin, Perry!"

"Yes," Perry whispered back. "I am a Slytherin."

Perry continued down the passageway, back against the wall, making sure not to cause and commotion. When she came to the classroom door she slid her hand quietly across the frame to find the handle. Once she found it, she pulled out her wand and slid her hand towards her other.

"Alohomora," she whispered.

The door made a clicking noise and Perry wished she had cast a silencing charm on it before unlocking it. She twisted the handle carefully and pushed the door open. Perry shuffled her feet and slipped into the classroom. Biting her lip, Viktorija followed after her and into the classroom.

"Why did I let you drag me into this!" Viktorija whisper shouted.

"I didn't drag you into anything," Perry whispered back. "You wanted to come along."

Perry tiptoed across the concrete floor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom trying not to make any noise. She was moving over towards the back of the classroom where the pixies were being kept. Her eyes landed on the cage with the cloth over top of it and she quickly pulled out her wand. She carefully held it overtop the cage and cast a silencing charm.

"Is this how adventures usually start?" Viktorija asked as she took large lunges across the room to Perry.

"Yes—" Perry said turning to look at her. "What are you doing?"

"Being quiet," Viktorija said while staring daggers at Perry.

Perry smiled and bit her lip to suppress a laugh. The way she had gone about being quiet made her look like a fool.

"Don't laugh at me!" Viktorija hissed.

"I'm sorry," Perry chuckled. "The way you— the way—"

"Stop!" Viktorija hissed. "You know I'm not one for being quiet!"

"I know, I know," Perry repeated while blowing air out to stop her from laughing. "It still looked funny though."

Viktorija slapped her on the arm with while a grimace took its place on her face. A giddy smile was painted across Perry's and Viktorija could help but to drop her frown. Perry's smiles were contagious and could lighten the mood even in the darkest of situations.

"Let's just get this over with," Viktorija said shaking her head. "I'm wasting precious minutes of sleep for this."

Perry stifled a laugh as she reached her arm out in front of her for the cage. She grabbed the handle at the top of the metal cage and pulled it towards her. She didn't take the cloth off just yet, seeing as she didn't want her fingers getting bit at.

"Tori," Perry whispered, "Take the cage!"

"What?" Viktorija whispered, surprised and terrified at the same time. "They'll bite me!"

"There's a cloth right on top of it," Perry explained. "You won't even see them.

"No!" she whisper shouted. "I'm not doing that."

"Fine," Perry whispered. "Then you can be in charge of looking around corners for Filch and for casting spells!"

Viktorija's eyes widened and she stood their for a few seconds.

"Fine! I'll take it."

Perry places the cage on the ground and swept over to the door.

"That's what I thought," Perry mumbled in response to Viktorija giving in.

"I heard that," Viktorija whispered as she grabbed the handle through the cloth. "Dear, Merlin."

"Okay," Perry whispered, pulling her head back through the doorframe, "Coast is clear. Follow me, and please tiptoe like a normal human."

"I—" Viktorija stuttered, "I— oh, you shut up."

Perry giggled as she opened the door for Viktorija to walk through. Perry, remembering the click of the door from earlier, raised her wand once again. She cast a silencing charm on the doorknob while Viktorija waddled into the hallway. The cage was proving heavy for Viktorija as she let out a huff. Perry smiled as she pulled the door closed behind her, and quickly locked it.

"Calloportus," she whispered while closing her eyes and concentrating.

The silencing charm ensured that Perry wouldn't be able to know if the door was locked or not. Perry took a shaky breath, hoping that the door was actually locked, and stepped away.

"Okay," she whispered, "We're going to the west entrance."

"Why?" Viktorija whispered back. "Do you want us to get caught!"

Perry rolled her eyes and whispered back, "It's the closest doors to the forbidden forest—"

"We are not going in there—"

"I never said we were," Perry interrupted. "All I said is that it's the closest doors to the forbidden forest. If you had let me finished, I would've told you that I don't particularly feel like crossing a bridge out the east wing or walking straight out the bloody main doors. Out the west entrance all we have to worry about is Filch, paintings, and Hagrid. Out the east entrance we have to worry about Filch, paintings, and a bridge. If we were to go out the main doors, we'd both get caught before we managed to touch the handle."

"Okay," Viktorija sighed. "West wings the best option, I guess."

"I wouldn't call it the best, but, I guess, it's the least horrible plan," Perry said.

"You're so weird," Viktorija said while shaking her head.

"Says the girl who tip toed like an episode of pink panther," Perry teased.

"A what of what?" Viktorija questioner, looking utterly confused.

"Oh, right," Perry sighed as it dawned on her, "It's a muggle thing. Don't think to much about it. Er— Now, lets get a move on!"

"Lumos," Perry whispered.

Perry and Viktorija crept down the hallways, whispering to each other as they went. Perry peered around the corners to see if the coast was clear, while Viktorija hauled the cage of fairy's down the hallway.

"I still can not believe Malfoy!" Perry growled.

"I actually thought you were about to punch him again," Viktorija huffed, exhausted from carrying the cage.

"I might've if Angelina hadn't have held me back," Perry confessed.

"I would've died if you had," Viktorija laughed. "It was so funny last year."

"He deserves it more this year," Perry whispered. "How could someone call another person that wretched name!"

"It's Malfoy," Viktorija answered. "He was raised by a snake; he became a snake."

"Quiet literally considering his 'Slytherin bloodline'," Perry said mimicking Malfoy's voice.

"You should stop trying to punch him though, Perry," Viktorija said bluntly.

"You just said you'd wish I had punched him," Perry explained a little annoyed.

"No," Viktorija corrected, "I said I would've died if you had. I find it hilarious and I totally think he deserves it, but the teachers don't think the same way I do and neither do a lot of the older students. I'm telling you this because I love you, Perry, and I don't want you to get screwed over because of Malfoy."

"You're right," Perry said after a moment of silence. "I'll try not to punch Malfoy, but no promises."

Viktorija chocked on a snicker that she was attempting to mask.

"Shh," Perry whispered as she struggled to contain her own laughter. "We're going to get caught."

"If you say that then we will!" Viktorija whisper shouted as she followed Perry down the final hallway.

They crept outside into the cold of the night, eager to finish their mission. Not even Hagrid's house had lights on at this time of night. Viktorija placed the cage on the ground, releasing a sigh of relief.

"My Merlin, I don't think I could have carried that for a minute longer," Viktorija complained.

Perry would've said she was being dramatic, but a big part of the reason she passed the crate to Viktorija was because she found it too heavy. Perry sheepishly smiled at Viktorija, but it was too dark for her to see.

Perry approached the cage and crouched beside it. Biting her lip, she grabbed the cloth on top of the cage and pulled it off. The pixies went ballistic and clutched the bars of the cage. They fluttered around uncontrollably and rammed into each other inside the small bars of the cage.

"It's okay," Perry whispered. "Shhh."

They only calmed down a little bit from the words Perry had spoken. Perry smiled at the look of excitement of the pixies faces.

"Stop smiling at the creatures and release them already," Viktorija complained.

Perry shook her head at Viktorija and looked back down at the pixies. She raised her hand and lifted the cold bar that locks the cage. She opened up the little cage door and released the pixies. The blue creatures rushed out of the cage by the dozens. Perry fell backwards onto the ground as the pixies swarmed the sky.

"Okay, now what do we do?" Viktorija asked.

"Get rid of the evidence," Perry said mischievously.

Perry grabbed her wand.

"Evanesco," Perry said boldly while moving her wand in the correct way.

"Quiet down!" Viktorija whisper shouted as she watched the cage disappear from her eyes.

"Done," Perry whisper shouted back.

"How— How do you know how to do that?"

"Why do you think I've been up late every single night?"

"Well, I assumed you were sneaking—"

"Don't finish that sentence," Perry cut her off.

Viktorija giggled one of her maniacal laughs.

"But really," she said after her laughing fit, "That's a fourth year spell."

"I may have taken one of Adrian Pucey's books and practiced the spell each night," Perry smiled.

"Oh, so that's where you go every night when you think I'm asleep," Viktorija sighed.

"You weren't asleep?" Perry asked incredulously. "Any of those times?"

"Well, I was a few of the times," Viktorija explained, "Bur for the rest, no I was not asleep! Unlike Pansy, I don't fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow."

"I swear you were snoring!"

"I do not snore!" Viktorija exclaimed defensively. "And I can't believe you left me out of learning the spell!"

"You don't even like learning," Perry said as she moved towards the doorway.

"That's fair," Viktorija said as she followed Perry. "Anyways, I presumed you were sneaking out to see Harry of Cedric."

"No, I usually only start to do major meddling sometime during Christmas holiday," Perry joked.

"What do you call this mission then?" Viktorija asked.

"A minor excursion," Perry nodded. "But, hey, most of the adventures start with a minor excursion."

The girls made their way through the castle, moving against the wall to insure they were out of sight. They stepped carefully along the stone the made the castle floor so they would emit no echo. A simple sound and a painting could wake up and alert Filch and Mrs. Norris where they are. As they made their way closer to the Slytherin Common room, they began to notice a chill in the hallway. The stone's light grey had turned a darker shade and they soon noticed it began to get damper as they got closer. Eventually, they were walking through water that covered the entire floor.

"...rip....tear....kill..."

Perry froze in her tracks as she heard the voice once again. Color drained from her face as her breaths became sharp. She felt as if she had been struck through her heart with a sword that ripped her soul from her body. Viktorija touched a hand to her back as she wrapped around to see her face.

"What's wrong?" she asked, concerned about her best friend. "Perry, tell me what's wrong."

Perry's head snapped towards the raven haired girl once she came back to her senses. She opened her mouth but no words came out. The blonde girl felt her tongue had gone as dry as the Sahara desert. Viktorija stared at the girl, her eyes swimming in curious out and a little bit of fear. Then her eyes went wide as she pieced things together.

"It's the voice isn't it," Viktorija asked solemnly. "I thought you said it was a nightmare."

"I—I said I thought it must've been from a nightmare," Perry frowned.

With a shake of her head, Perry told herself she was being silly. She had tackled the darkest wizard of all time less then six months ago to save someone she loves, she shouldn't fear a voice. For all she knows she could be imagining it!

"...so hungry....for so long..."

"You really don't hear it?" Perry asked as she suppressed the tears threatening to take form in he eyes.

"No," Viktorjia sighed, "But I trust you to know it's there."

Perry wrapped her arms around her and gave the taller girl a big hug. Viktorija was startled at first, not exactly excepting the hug, but slowly she melted into it and squeezed her back.

"...kill....time to kill..."

Perry's eyes shot open when she heard the voice again. Before she had heart it from behind her, now she heard it from behind Viktorija. Perry shot away from Viktorjia at the speed of light, and almost as quick as she shot away, she grabbed her best friends hand and sprinted down the corridor.

"What!" exclaimed Viktorjia, forgetting she had to be quiet. Perry didn't notice, as her thoughts were too scattered at the moment. "Where are we going?"

"It's going to kill," Perry breathed in a shrill voice as she dragged Viktorjia by the hand after her.

"Woah, woah," Viktorija exclaimed as she tugged on Perry's hand to get her to stop running. "Are we running towards the voice or away, because I'm not looking to die."

"You said you wanted an adventure," Perry panted before she took off again, dragging Viktorija behind her.

"Perry th—"

"Shhh," Perry hushed.

"...I smell blood....I SMELL BLOOD..."

Perry began to move her legs faster than the beating of her heart, which was beating rapidly. Viktorija could feel the adrenaline and anxiety radiating off of her closest friend. Viktorija began to breath heavily as she imagined all of the outcomes of where they are heading towards.

"Who is that?" Viktorija asked. She had seen a flash of something in front of her eyes. It had looked like another person ran past the corridor while she blinked. Suddenly images of what Perry has described Lord Voldemort to move like played like a film in Viktorija's mind. The raven haired girl gave the small blonde's hand a squeeze as they rounded the corner to where Viktorija had seen the shadow run.

"Harry?" Perry asked breathlessly. In front of them stood the bespectacled Gryffindor boy, accompanied by his two best friends, Hermione and Ron.

"Perry?" Harry asked. "What are you doing here?"

"Never mind that," Viktorija asked. "What the bloody hell is that?"

"We just discovered it as well," Hermione exclaimed.

"The Chamber of Secrets has been open," Perry read as she stepped closer into the light. "Enemies of the heir beware."

"Please tell me that's red ink," Viktorija squeaked as she cupped a hand over her mouth.

Nobody answered her.

"What's that thing — hanging underneath?" Ron asked as he pointed to something dark that hung below the torch illuminating the wall.

Harry walked towards it, and Perry took small steps after him as she crossed from standing in front of the writing to the side. Perry felt her breath hitch as she looked at the frozen still cat. She had wished unpleasant things on Mrs. Norris in the past, but she never truly meant them. She should have known better than to wish such awful things when she is a witch.

"Let's get out of here," Ron blurted our as his eyes registered what was dangling from the torch.

"Should we try and help—"

"No," Viktorija ordered with a stern voice, "Ron's right. Merlin, I never thought I'd say that in my life."

"We have to go," Ron said, deciding to not comment on the last part of Viktorija's sentence. "Trust me."

They were all about to move when they heard the chatter of voices echoing down the hallways from both directions. Students in their pajamas were storming down the corridors heading their way. Perry was thankful that her bed clothes weren't real pajamas, as the Dursley's has never given her a real pair. Poor Hermione was standing there in her navy pajamas with books as a pattern.

The students stared forward at the message, reading it intently before moving their eyes towards the five children standing directly in front of it. Perry looked around at all the students with a horrified expression on her face. She felt her stomach churn as she knew what they must be thinking of her. The Slytherin girl who killed the Dark Lord. They must think she's the next him.

Then her attention was captured by a blonde haired prat who spat, "Enemies of the Heir, beware! You'll be next, Mudbloods!"
