A tear dropped from Jessica's eye. She looked at Yuri for an answer.

"Is it true?"

"I'm not lying. I just think that she can't go to the orphanage anymore. Too dangerous."

Yuri hesitated.

Jessica wiped her tears and asked again, "is it? true?"

"I can explain."

Jessica's heart fell to the bottom of her stomach. That was not an answer she expected.

"Why?" she choked on her tears.

"You were weak, Sica. You were distracted. You were endangering yourself by keep coming back to the orphanage. You know how the organization

works, they lure you out using bait. And they will use the orphanage."

Jessica couldn't believe her ears. It was true. Yuri wasn't denying.

"I did a lot of stupid stuff lately. Including tonight,"

"You did it for me?" Jessica took a deep breath, "you hurt my family for me!?" Jessica screamed.

"You're going to kill yourself. We are at war."

"They are my family! Seohyun is traumatized! Mother had no place to live! The children? what about the children?"

"I want to protect you," Yuri's voice softens.

I will make a new world for you, for people like us to live in."

Jessica bit her lower lip. It was painful to hear everything Yuri said. She had believed her in every way, followed her when she asked. She leaned on her

when she was weary and last night they were in each other arms.

"I can't?," Jessica stuttered.

Yuri pleaded, "no."

"They are my family," Jessica wiped her tears, "you promised me you'll bring me back to them?."

"I did that for you," Yuri walked closer.

"There are things she'd better off oblivious."

"I can't forgive what you did," Jessica made a spark in her hand, "I can't."

Yuri heaved a heavy breath and clenched her teeth to hold her tears inside. Jessica's eyes turned blue, her whole body covered with lightning. Yuri knew

it would turn out this way, the moment she decided to burn the orphanage.

She was scared. She was scared to see Jessica endanger herself again. She was afraid she'd lose her like she almost did at the organization's

headquarters.

Jessica kept coming back to the orphanage, watching them, and Yuri was afraid the organization will get to her when she did. Burning the orphanage,

blaming the organization was the only thing she could think of to keep Jessica safe.

And now she faced the consequences, she was standing in front of Jessica, ready to attack. She had to fight her.

"Taeyeon!" Siwon called his puny partner.

"Yep?"

"Eeteuk-hyung is trapped under this car."

Taeyeon lifted a car from the ground and threw it away, freeing Eeteuk from under it.

"Oppa, what the hell were you thinking? How the hell can you end up under a car?" Taeyeon put her hands on her waist.

"I'm sorry," Eeteuk got up and smiled, "I got too excited."

Taeyeon looked around the army district. Traces of battle were on the walls, burn marks and bullet holes.

"We failed, Oppa. They took the girl," Taeyeon sighed.

Eeteuk nodded, "sorry."

Taeyeon looked at Eeteuk, he was silent. This happens every time they failed to save someone, Eeteuk cries.

"Come on, Oppa. Let's just go home," Taeyeon said.

"Okay."

Two lightnings blasted through a warehouse, coming from the ground up to the sky.

"The lightnings," Siwon followed the lightnings to the sky with his eyes, "that's Yuri and Jessica!"

"Oh, no," Taeyeon ran to the warehouse and looked up, where the thunders had faded away. "Oppa!"

Eeteuk saw what Taeyeon saw.

"Get them! Get them back down!" Eeteuk screamed.

Far above the sky, Yuri was struggling with Jessica. Jessica had Yuri wrapped around her lightning, torturing her. Yuri gritted her teeth, enduring the

pain.

Something took over Jessica body and she was aware of it. But she just let it took control. She was upset, angry, furious. When it was beginning to get

better, when she felt she was at home again when she finally felt something she thought it was love, Yuri disappointed her.

They flew in and out of clouds, making rumble sounds and blue flashes from their lightnings. Jessica grabbed Yuri's arm and shot a lightning to her

chest. She could hear Yuri was grunting, hurting but she didn't care. Her heart ached for it but her anger was bigger.

Jessica hit Yuri again, with her whole body, electrocuting her hard. Yuri didn't fight back, she hugged Jessica instead.

"Let me go!" Jessica hissed.

They both spun around in the air. Jessica roared and she forced herself to fall, along with Yuri. They slammed into an office building, destroying its walls,

windows and cubicles. The workers ran around scared when they saw Jessica stood up from the debris without a scratch.

"Fight back!" Jessica shouted.

Yuri was weak. Guilt has taken a toll on her.

"Fight back, damn it!" Jessica charged at Yuri. She threw Yuri far to the sky and pummelling her with her fist.

"Fight back!" Jessica let out a cry.

Yuri knew she couldn't win against a Potential, more so win against Jessica. Her heart won't let it. All that she had done was for Jessica and if she wants

her dead then so be it.

Yuri was falling to the ground, not bothering to fly with her lightning. Her eyes were looking to Jessica who hovered above her. She was crying.

"I made you cry again," Yuri whispered.

Jessica turned to lightning and the next thing Yuri felt was hitting the hard asphalt of Seoul road.

She closed her eyes. Jessica hit her again with her lightning, again and again until she couldn't see Yuri's body anymore, buried on the hard asphalt.

The rain started to fall in Seoul. Taeyeon dropped on the tallest in the city. There, she found Jessica, hugging her own knees and cried.

Where's Yuri?

"Jessica," Taeyeon called her.

Jessica didn't answer so Taeyeon walked closer and stood behind her.

"Jessica."

Jessica buried her face between her knees.

"What are we fighting for? What am I fighting for? Who are we fighting for, Taeyeon?" she said.

Taeyeon wasn't sure what to answer.

"Eeteuk-oppa," Jessica sobbed, "he'll kill me."

"What are you talking about?"

"I killed her, Taeyeon," Jessica stuttered, "I killed her," and she bit her hand, hoping to avert the pain but it didn't work. Her heart was killing her.

"I killed her," Jessica cried harder.

And she lost everything matters to her.

It didn't take long until the authorities came to the place where people said lightning struck a girl in the middle of the road.

"When I was walking down the road a lightning struck there!" a woman explained to a police officer with overwhelming enthusiasm. "You know how

people said that lightning never strikes one place more than one? That lightning struck five times!"

The police officer nodded, "are you sure you saw a girl lying in the middle of the road?"

"I am a hundred percent sure! Ask someone else! They also saw what happened!" the woman pointed to people around her who automatically nodded

along.

"Are you really sure?"

"Yes, the girl got struck by the lightning five times!" the woman hit her own palm, "you don't trust me, Officer?"

The officer tilted his head, "not that, Ma'am. It's just? we can't find any girl."
