Chapter 32 : The Truth

Yoona was lying on her cell bed, three hours after she went berserk at the Blood Facility, handcuffed. She could already thought of a hundred

consequences the organization would do to her but she was not regretting what she did. It was a right thing to do.

But they brought Yoona back to the central, threw her into jail and that was it.

She heard footsteps from the cell corridor. The sound of heels knocking on the hard concrete was so loud in Yoona's ears.

Hyoyeon stopped in front of Yoona's cell. She put a strand of her hair behind her ear and readjusted her glasses.

"What the hell were you thinking?" she said, softly but added a terrifying tone to it.

Yoona sat up facing Hyoyeon.

"Do you know that you just give Junsu a great break in his side?" Hyoyeon continued.

"Do you know what the Blood Facility does to the Gifted, Unnie?" Yoona returned the question.

"I don't care what they do, all I care is you. What the hell were you thinking!?" Hyoyeon shouted, "the board is holding a meeting as we speaking. Do

you know what your actions did to Sunny? She won't stop crying!"

"You don't understand, Unnie! They are monsters! The little girls we caught, the women we brought in, the facility didn't cure them?."

"I don't care!" Hyoyeon hit the cell bar with her palm, "I only care about you."

Yoona looked down to the floor, disappointed.

"I can't do anything else from my end, Princess. Junsu is going to take over?," Hyoyeon lowered her tone.

Yoona understood the organization's brain, she was under Hyoyeon's authority, and now she messed up badly, Hyoyeon's career and hers were hanging

on a fragile thread.

"Junsu will take over the Jung's case, the Thirteen's case and Kim Taeyeon's?," Hyoyeon took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes, "Kwon Yuri? the

orphanage files? everything we've been doing so far? Junsu will have it."

Yoona gritted her teeth.

"We're out of the case? I had to do that. At least they should take it to consideration when they talk about our future," Hyoyeon sighed.

Yoona knew when Hyoyeon said 'our' she had dragged Sooyoung and Sunny down the graveyard path.

"I'm sorry, Unnie?," Yoona said, "how about Seunghyun-oppa?"

Hyoyeon tilted her head and made a faint smile as a sign there was no hope. Yoona looked back to the ground.

"But, Unnie? can I ask one more favour? Just this last one," Yoona pleaded.

Hyoyeon smiled, "last favour? Don't say things like you're going to die."

"Right," Yoona nodded.

"What is it?"

"Can you find any stuff about the facility? Anything at all, then you'll know what I'm talking about. Please?" Yoona said with her hand put together.

Hyoyeon curled her lips, "it would be hard but? I'll try."

Yoona stood up and walked to the bars, she pressed her forehead on them and smiled, "thanks a lot, Unnie."

Hyoyeon flicked Yoona's forehead, "anytime, Princess."

"Um, call me Yoona."

**

Tiffany, Taeyeon, Eeteuk and Siwon were sitting around Yuri, questioning her.

"Can I ask you guys something?" Yuri said.

Everyone nodded.

"Did you look for me when I'm missing?"

Taeyeon scoffed, "no."

"No?"

"I Reached you three times but I can't find you anywhere," Taeyeon explained.

"Ah," Yuri nodded, "so you thought I was dead. Well, I am unconscious for a few days," Yuri reached inside her pocket and took out a balled up paper,

"Why didn't you contact us?" asked Tiffany.

"I can't," Yuri frowned, "I was ashamed beside if I contact you I'm afraid she'll finds out."

"Who?"

"The Princess."

"You were with Princess?" Taeyeon gasped.

"Yes."

"That Princess?"

"Yes."

"The organization agent?"

"Yes, Taengoo. Seriously, you have to stop doing that," Yuri frowned.

"Why?" Siwon continued the questioning.

"She wanted me to take her to the Blood Facility."

"And you took her there?"

Yuri nodded.

"Is it still the same place?" Eeteuk asked.

"Not anymore, she burned the building."

"She burned it!?" Tiffany shrieked, "and what happened to her now."

"I don't know, she got me out of there before I can do anything."

"I never expect this to happen," Eeteuk crossed his arms.

"Oppa."

Eeteuk raised his eyebrows, "what? What's with that face?"

Yuri bit her lower lip before she threw the paper to Eeteuk.

"What's this? You go all the way to facility and you brought trash as a souvenir."

"Just read it!" Yuri scolded him.

Eeteuk read the messed up paper. One line at a time and then his heart stopped.

"This is not true," he said.

"What? What is?" Tiffany asked.

"I don't know. But it was hidden in the facility, why would they lie about what they keep in that place?" Yuri bit her finger nail.

"What, Oppa?"

Eeteuk can't say another word.

**

Sunny walked in to her office with Hyoyeon trailed behind her. She quickly turned her computer on and cracked her fingers.

"You look like you're going to wrestle," Hyoyeon said.

"Shut up."

Sunny turned serious when it comes to Yoona. Hyoyeon actually loved that part of Sunny.

"You're cute with glasses," Hyoyeon pulled a chair and sit beside Sunny.

Sunny coughed. She cleared her throat and cocked her neck, "here we go."

Sunny went through some important files on the organization system, looking for a file that could lead them to the Blood Facility.

"Here," Sunny explained, "the only information they put openly is only this."

"All Gifted/Potentials should be transferred as quickly as possible to the Blood Facility. That's it?" Hyoyeon read the monitor.

"Yes, so I took the initiative and cross checked every thing related to the facility and here's what I found," Sunny typed something before she hit enter

on the keyboard.

The monitor displayed two folders, Scenario 0 and Kim Junsu.

"Junsu," Hyoyeon nodded.

Sunny clicked at the Scenario 0 folder and a ding sound rang, "warning, you need a level 5 access to view this folder."

Hyoyeon rubbed her chin and sighed, "you said you can easily hack into it, right?"

"Yes," Sunny nodded.

"Hack it then," said Hyoyeon.

Sunny tilted her head, "who are you and what the hell did you do to my workaholic-uptight-strict-dumb Hyoyeon?"

"Just hack it," Hyoyeon smiled.

Sunny started a program and typed really fast. Hyoyeon stared at her intently, waiting. Sunny carefully took a glance to her friend's face and suddenly

her face and ears reddened up.

"What's wrong?" asked Hyoyeon.

"Don't watch me," Sunny stopped, "go get me something to eat while I do this crime."

Hyoyeon raised her thumb, "okay. Make sure you don't get caught."

"Roger."

**

Jessica lied down on Seohyun's lap, tried to rest her eyes. They were at Seohyun's parents' house, talking in the living room.

"You didn't sleep last night, Unnie?" asked Seohyun.

Jessica put her arm on her eyes, "a short one, just a bit."

"That's not like you, not like you at all. You never had any problem with sleeping, all you have is problem of waking up," Seohyun grazed on Jessica's

hair, "something bothering you?"

Jessica let out a heavy breath. "My life is spinning out of control, Hyunnie."

"What do you mean spinning out of control? Is something wrong? Is something happened at the house you live in?"

Jessica sighed, "Hyunnie? if you somehow managed to know the person that burned our orphanage? what would you do?"

Seohyun played with Jessica's hair, "me?" Seohyun tilted her head, "I'll report him to the police maybe, but I think I'm gonna hit him with my whole

strength first," she smiled.

Jessica didn't respond. She was battling with her heart. Seohyun's answer was to be expected and Jessica did hit Yuri with her whole strength but her

feelings for Yuri buried those logics, she couldn't throw away the fact that her heart tied with Yuri.

"Unnie," Seohyun remembered something, "do you want to play the piano?"

**

Sooyoung was happily eating her beef sandwich as she walked behind Hyoyeon who was holding a lunch box in her hand.

"I was only buying food for Sunny," she sighed, "why do you always come when I'm buying food?"

"Oh, come on. This sandwich is not that expensive."

"It is if you buy three of them at once. How the hell can you eat three large sandwiches anyway?"

Sooyoung just laughed.

They knocked at Sunny's office door and then went in. Sunny was leaning to her chair so low. She looked like she was just come back from a long

marathon.

"What's going on?" Sooyoung asked.

"I was wrong. I can't get too far without triggering the security system," a sweat rolled down Sunny's cheek.

"You got through?" Hyoyeon put the food she brought on the table.

"Yes, but I only managed to pull a few files. Well, I sorted it through some unimportant files. Here," Sunny clicked a folder on the computer before she

opened the lunch box and started to munch in.

"Great," Hyoyeon read the file.

Sunny hacked into the system and got a list of the people they caught so far.

"What is this D letter on each names mean?" asked Sooyoung.

"Deceased," Sunny explained.

"Deceased!?" Sooyoung shrieked, "but it's on every name on the list!"

"So this is what Yoona was talking about," Hyoyeon muttered.

"Everyone that went in to that facility, died!?" Sooyoung gasped.

"It took me by surprise either. And I found some Junsu's files," Sunny clicked another folder.

The folder contained a transfer letter for Junsu from the facility to the central.

"So?"

"Keep reading," Sunny said with her mouthful.

"Yes, what are you expect me to find here?"

"The last file he read before he transferred."

Hyoyeon read from top to the bottom of the file again.

"Read it out loud, Hyo," Sooyoung said.

"He read the Potential file. I still don't understand," Hyoyeon looked at Sunny.

Sunny smiled, "here."

She clicked at a video file. It was a still camera and it was put on a high angle. The video was showing Junsu, sitting in an interrogation room. The date

traced back to three years earlier.

"Junsu."

He wasn't alone. He was talking to a guy.

"When did you first meet her?"

"Three months ago. I found her in front of my house. She was crying."

"And what did you do?

"I brought her in to my house. She was so innocent then! She didn't look like anything she is today!"

"Calm down."

"She killed my family."

"I understand. She's a wanted person in the world too. That's why we need to know every detail of her."

"Fine."

"Tell me everything."

"She was a kind person and we were in love. She kept saying that she has another person inside her that wants to rebel out but I didn't pay attention

to it. Every time she's upset, she would tell me to stay away and cursing, cursing to herself."

"Yes, and then?"

"She kept saying that she was a sinner. A criminal. I didn't believe it until tonight."

"Tell me about tonight. Why did she let you go? She never let anyone go before."

"She said thank you."

"And she attacked you?"

"No, I attacked her. But she didn't die. She laughed."

"Laughed?"

[i]"She said that she splitted herself into two persons, each one with equal power with herself. She said good luck killing them before you kill me."

The video ended, leaving the room in silence.

"Is this authentic?" asked Hyoyeon.

"Very."

"You're saying that Gaea couldn't be killed unless we kill the other Potentials?" Sooyoung stopped eating, "so that's why there so few Potentials out

there."

Hyoyeon stood up and started walking back and forth, "so he was originally stationed in the Blood Facility. He was looking for something, he was looking

for Potentials. And when he's sure that there are only two other Potentials, he moved to Seoul and started his little mission."

"Capturing Siwon and placing Princess to apprehend Taeyeon and then Jessica," Sunny continued Hyoyeon's sentence, "and kill Gaea."

Sooyoung summed up, "that's why he's here. He wants to kill Gaea."

Hyoyeon smiled, "I need to tell this to Seunghyun-oppa, send the files to my computer, Sunny."

"Done," Sunny grinned.

"Great! Thanks," Hyoyeon kissed Sunny's forehead before she ran out of the office.

Sunny giggled.

Sooyoung quickly rubbed Sunny's forehead with her palm, at the spot where Hyoyeon kissed her. "You like her or something?"

"Huh? What? Why'd you ask that?"

"Don't."

"Don't what?"

"Don't like her."

"Why?"

"I'll be lonely."

**

"It can't be," Tiffany teared up.

Eeteuk was holding a written record of Junsu interrogation before he entered the organization.

[i]She said that she splitted herself into two persons, each one with equal power with herself. Good luck killing them before you kill me.

"This is a lie, right?" Siwon asked. "This record is a lie."

Yuri didn't answer. She wanted it to be a lie too.
