Lookism Ep 24, 25, 26, 27

Third POV

(Y/n) was walking threw the festival. Most students were wearing the school uniform, but she was not. (Y/n) was wearing a spaghetti-strap white crop top, a flannel skirt, a black denim jacket and black platform heal leather boots.

Just then she decided to get some of the bread that was being sold at the Baking Dept. booth. She ordered two bagels from the department and then made her way around the festival, looking around- staring at the other booths. (Y/n) saw the long line for the Beauty Dept. and decided not to get a hair cut just yet. Then she heard a noise coming from the stage. Apparently it was time for the slave auction. The host for this year was a sophomore from the Baking Dept. He was also the highest bid last year.

First up was a guy from the Music Dept. He was sold for $65. Next was a guy from the Baking Dept. He was sold for $80. Then was Eli Jang from the Beauty Dept. He was sold for $500, breaking last years record, be was bought by the girls in the Beauty Dept. They didn't want to share Eli with anyone, apparently. Next up was Euntae Lee, aka Vasco from the Architecture Dept. No one seemed to want to buy him, they were scared by his face to even bid.

"$30!" (Y/n) said, raising her arm to buy Vasco. She felt pity for him.

"Sold for $30!" the host said. Vasco looked at the girl in the crowd and then started to walk away down from the stage. Vasco was wearing a shy smile and a red face as he made his way towards Jace.

"That's amazing Vasco!" Jace told Vasco as he looked at him, feeling happy for his childhood friend. Vasco could only look out into the crowd as he search for (Y/n) who bid on him.

Meanwhile, next to be auctioned off was a guy from the Vocal & Dance Dept. that was sold for 50 cents. And the last to come up was Daniel Park. The crowd was going crazy at the sight of Daniel. Suddenly , a girl named Lala appeared. The host turned to look at Daniel and told him that Lala was the one who did the highest bid last year. The host went on telling him of his worst past experience with her and prayed for Daniel to have someone else win him in the bidding. And so the bidding began.

"$50!"

"$70!"

"$300!" It was Zoe Park, she had saved money just for this day, so she could have a private date with him. But at last she was out-bid by Lala.

"$1,000" Everyone was shocked. Lala had broken her last year's bid. It seemed like Daniel was to be sold to Lala, but someone from the crowd held their arm out and said.

"$2,000" It was Crystal Choi. Next to her was Gun and (Y/n).

"$2,500" Lala said. Not wanting Crystal to out bid her. How wrong was she.

"$5,000" Crystal said, doubling the price. The crowd froze, they couldn't believe what she had just said. Lala tried to use her $7,000 purse to out-bid Crystal, but she was not allowed to since all the money won by the auction was going to charity and so they couldn't accept her purse. So, Daniel was sold to Crystal Choi for $5,000, making it the highest bid ever in the history of Jae Won High.

Changing into another location now, the four characters were now in the parking lot; Gun, Daniel, Crystal and (Y/n). Daniel wanted to say thank you to Crystal but was interrupted by her. Crystal insulted him and told him not to act all high mighty just because he was handsome.

"Come on~ Don't be like that. Here, I got you something." (Y/n) said to Crystal as she gave her a brown bag, inside was one of the bagels she bought.

"Let's just go." Crystal turned around to enter a black car that was parked next to where she was standing, Gun holding the door for her and (Y/n). Daniel stood there for a moment, processing what just happened. He tried to reach towards Crystal but was stopped by Gun. Daniel broke free from Gun's grip, surprising Crystal, (Y/n) and especially Gun. So, Gun went and threw a kick at Daniel. Daniel thought that he had blocked it, but it was a Brazilian kick so it landed on him. Suddenly, Vasco appeared to try and defend Daniel, but was then punched by Gun in the face. At that moment Crystal stopped Gun from fighting Vasco. And so Crystal went inside the car, then (Y/n) was going to enter the vehicle, but her arm was grabbed by Vasco. And then Gun grabbed Vasco's arm.

"Don't touch." - Gun

"Let's leave. I don't want to cause anymore trouble." - (Y/n)

Vasco and Gun just glared at each other. Each not wanting to back down.

"I said let's go. I am getting hungry. I want food." (Y/n) said, taking Gun's arm and pulling him towards the car. She then turned to Vasco and said.

"I'll talk to you later about our auction date, okay?~" And with that she got into the car. Then the car rode off.

Later in the day, Daniel and Duke preformed in front of a big crowd at school. The song that Duke had made became really popular. Even though the people at school were amazed by both Duke's rapping skills and Daniel's singing, the crowd paid more attention to Daniel thanks to his looks, leaving Duke Pyoen ignored by the kids at school once again.

~Time Skip ~ A New Day~

After the festival, Duke Pyeon made himself a streaming channel to talk about music and rap. In his first streaming he had little Daniel with him. But instead of the people being interested in the music, they were making fun of the two of them. Daniel did not understand much about the streaming service, but then Duke told him about the number 1 streamer in the platform, Yui Kim.
