Lookism Ep 85, 86

Third POV

A few days have gone by since the new addiction for the gambling site started. Jiho was becoming even more obsessed on winning even more money, but unfortunately for him, his so-called friend, John, had to stop giving him information about the next win. So Jiho started to lose money; creating a debt that increased every time he played. 

And as of then, (Y/n) was even more suspicious of the games. She had noticed in one of the classes that Jiho looked almost lifeless. So, (Y/n) thought that it was time to finally go ask some questions.

(Y/n) decided to go out and visit someone, and she knew just where they would be. After walking thru the door of the establishment, she proceeded straight to the person. Once she was by the person's side, she said...

"Sorry, but I don't think she is interested."

The person turned to look at the one who just spoke. That person was non other than Crystal. She was on a cycling equipment; working out. Crystal was surprised to see her friend since she had not asked (Y/n) to join her today at the gym.

"Just what are you doing here?"

Another voice said, it was Gun. He was also working out in one of the equipment's and was not wearing a shirt.

"And I could ask you where your shirt is, but you don't see me doing that." - (Y/n)

"I could ask the same about you and your clothes." - Gun

"I am wearing the same as Crystal! How am I any different!?" (Y/n) said, annoyed. She was indeed wearing almost the same as Crystal's clothes. (Y/n) was wearing a black sport bra, some black leggings and a pair of sneakers.

"It's good to see you (Y/n). But why are you here?" Crystal said, interrupting the conversation between the two.

"Why are you acting like I haven't seen you in weeks? I saw you a few days ago." - (Y/n)

"Just tell us what you want so you can leave." - Gun

"What if I told you I wanted to do some exercise today?" - (Y/n)

"You do that like once in a full moon." - Crystal

"Now that is just mean, yet true. I did come here to ask something." - (Y/n)

"What do you want to ask me about?" - Crystal

"I came to ask Gun, not you Crystal." - (Y/n)

"Now that is rare. What do you want to know?" - Gun

"It's about this." (Y/n) said, pulling out her phone from her bag to show Gun what was on the screen.

Gun looked at the screen and saw the 'log in' for the illegal gambling site.

"What? You in debt now? You want some money?" - Gun

"As if I would play such a scam. I want to know if you know something about this." - (Y/n)

"Why would I know such things." - Gun

"I don't know. Maybe it's one of your so-call predecessors? Or one of the crews?" - (Y/n)

"What makes you think that?" - Gun

"You are the only person that would ask an incredible amount of money from people, making them find a way to pay you." - (Y/n)

"That is true. But if someone is trying to be my successor, one of the requirements is to not get in any illegal activities." - Gun

"Maybe they got blinded by money thinking about the craze of millions of dollars." - (Y/n)

"That is a possibility. But why would you be interested in this?" - Gun

"I just got a gut feeling. You know?" - (Y/n)

"Fine. I'll look into it." - Gun

"That's a good ShotGun." - (Y/n)

"Don't call me that." Gun said to the (h/c) haired girl next to him.

Then (Y/n) heard her phone ding, signalling that she just got a message. Looking at the screen, she saw that is was a text from little Daniel.

(Y/n) texted a reply to Daniel; saying that she was on her way. She then bid her goodbyes to Crystal and Gun. Leaving the gym in a hurry, she ran as fast as she could to the convenient store to see what was happening. When she arrived, (Y/n) was face to face with Zoe and Daniel. He then told the two girls that Jiho came by a few minutes ago and Daniel had asked him to watch over the store while he went to the bathroom, but once Daniel returned to the counter, he saw that Jiho had disappeared along with the money in the safe. So Daniel then texted the two girls for help since he did not have enough money to cover it. Zoe and (Y/n) put both their money together just in time for when the owner arrived to collect the daily salary from the safe. After counting the money, the owner left the store, leaving the teens alone.

"Are you sure this is okay?" - Zoe

"He just needed to borrow some money." - Daniel

"Daniel, he stole money. We need to report this to the police." - (Y/n)

"I don't want to cause more trouble for him. He said he was going to pay me back." - Daniel

"Are you sure, Piggy?" - Zoe

"I'll just wait for now." - Daniel

"Zoe and I are in the same classroom as Jiho. We'll talk to him tomorrow." - (Y/n)

"No, it's fine. I'm sure he will pay me back." - Daniel

"If you say so Piggy." - Zoe

"We should probably go home for now. Let's just hope he does keep his words. I'll see you at school, Zoe. Stay safe Danny, if something else happens; just call me." (Y/n) said, leaving the two of them in the store.

~Time Skip, Next Day at School~

On the next day, Daniel, Zoe and (Y/n) noticed that Jiho was not present at school. Daniel was worried that something bad happened to him. So Daniel decided to wait for the next day, and the next day, then the next one, and so on. A week passed and Jiho remained missing. Daniel tried to go to Jiho's house to see if he was there, but when he met his parents, they did not seem to be aware of the situation that was happening with their son.
