Third POV

After walking for some time Zack finally stopped and looked behind to see if little Daniel was still with them. When Daniel looked around he noticed that they were in an arcade. Zack walked in front of a machine, a punching machine, and he made a stance, like he was ready to fight. He then made sure that Daniel was paying attention to him so he could begin to talk to Daniel.

"Look closely. Guard your cheek with your arm. Your stance must be wider than your shoulders, then bring your arms parallel to each other. That is the basic posture."

Daniel listened as Zack explained and he looked at how Zack was standing. And so Zack continued.

"From here take one step forward. Put your weight in the order of pelvis-shoulder-fist. Then push your shoulder first and stretch your arm out."

And with that he punched the machine right in the center. Breaking the previous record; 892 points.

"That is a straight." - Zack

"Wow! New record!" - Doo

After doing the punch, Zack started burping. Doo and the other two decided to take Zack back home. Zoe said that she was also going back home. And then there were three, well actually two, to be more specific. Daniel looked at (Y/n), as if waiting for her to say something.

"What?" she said, looking at him.

"I-I, ah, just thought if you should go home. Won't your family worry?" - Daniel

"There's no one waiting for me. But I guess I should go. I'll return your flannel once I see you again next time."- (Y/n)

"I-it's okay. You can give it to Daniel when you see him at school." - Daniel

"Cool. Oh, by the way. What's your name?" - (Y/n)

"It's also Daniel Park." - Daniel

"Really? What a coincidence. Well, I'll see you around, bye~" - (Y/n)

And with that she left. Daniel looked at the punching machine, he took the stance that Zack told him and tried to throw a straight, but missed and only grazed the side. Looking defeated, he picked up his other body and started walking towards his home. What he didn't know was that there was a person looking at him. That person was Vasco, and next to him was his childhood friend; Jace. Vasco looked at Daniel walking away and then at the machine. He then stood in front of the machine, threw a punch and broke Zack's new recent record; 910 points.

"Wow! New record!" - Jace

Vasco looked at the machine, he looked at the palette that one was supposed to hit. Then he noticed that it had a tear in the same place that Daniel had grazed when he threw his punch. So, Vasco started thinking. 'Maybe that guy is strong enough to defend himself.' And so both of them walked away.

Coming out from the shadows was a figure. It was looking at where Vasco was standing. The figure walked up to the machine and threw a punch, breaking the record once again; 999 points. Turning around, it started to walk away, the bright light illuminating the face. The figure was (Y/N).

'Not bad. Maybe they can become even stronger with a little push.'

~Time Skip ~ Next Day~

(Y/n) POV

'My head hurts. I knew I shouldn't have drunk anything last night.'

I rubbed my head with my hand. I had sunglasses on to try and block the sun.

'I need to get something to drink, something that will hopefully help me.'

Walking down the sidewalk I made my way towards a coffee shop called Star Coffee. I walked towards the counter and saw the barista and noticed that he looked familiar.

'Isn't that Jace from the architecture dept?'

"What can I get you?" he asked. I looked at the options on the blackboard.

"I'll have a (fav. hot drink)."

"Sure."

After giving my order, I waited for my drink. I was looking down at my phone when I suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Ma'am, what would you like to drink?" the voice said.

"You seem really popular. Danny must be jealous. What are you going to drink?" a second, unknown voice, said.

"I'll have an americano."

"Amaykano?"

I lifted my head to look over and saw Daniel with an older woman with him. The two of them started whispering to each other. The woman looked a bit uncomfortable.

"Order what you want. My treat." the woman said.

Just when Daniel was about to talk again to the woman, I made my way over them and put some money on the counter before either of them noticed.

"I'll pay for it. As a thank you." I said, looking at them.

I could see that they were shocked with my action. I took off my glasses and looked at Daniel.

"Take it as a thank you for paying for my food last night."

"(Y/n)! What are you doing today?" - Daniel

"My, who is this fine lady?" the woman said.

"Hello ma'am. You must be this boy's mom?" I said.

"Oh my! You flatter me. I am actually his friend's mom. " she said.

"You're little Danny's mom! Nice to meet you! He is such a nice boy."

"Thank you so much for being Daniel's friend. Please treat him well!"

"Of course ma'am!"

"Why don't we sit down?"

After waiting for awhile, our drinks came and the woman seemed happy while she tasted her first americano.

"So this is an amaykano. I bet my little Danny would like it."

"You think so? Maybe I should bring him with me next time."

"You are such a nice young lady. I hope Daniel doesn't break your friendship."

"Don't worry. I won't let him. Daniel Are you okay? you seem distant." I said looking at Daniel next to me.

"It's nothing! It's just that is the first time I've seen you smile like that." he said, with a smile of his own.

I looked at him, feeling my face a little hot. 'Idiot! Don't say such embarrassing thing to me!' Then I felt my phone vibrate in my lap. I picked it up to look who send me a message.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I have to go." I said to them.

"Is everything okay?" asked Daniel.

"Yeah. Just a friend that wants to meet up. I'll see you at school. Bye Daniel, bye ma'am." I slide out of the booth, stood and bowed down to them. I straightened my back and I almost left the coffee shop until I remembered something.

"Hey Daniel, can you give this back to little Danny? He let me borrow it. I'll leave now. Bye!" I gave the flannel shirt to Daniel and made my way outside.
