MONDAY...

I got back to the dorm exhausted from classes... they give too much homework, I swear!

On the bright side, my brother is better and Bailey promised she would tell me if anything changed, but other than that, I needed to just have a bit of shut eye.

But before I can get into my cozy and warm bed, I am pushed against the wall by Stormcloud.
"Ah! What do you want?!" I demand, nearly laughing.
"Your date with Lucyan-what happened?" She demanded and my mind blanked for a moment... I was so tired I had no idea at what she was talking about.
"You went on a date with Lucyan on Saturday!!" She reminded me.
"Oh right! Sorry, my minds fogged up from class-Wait, how did you know about that?"
"Droplet told us-"
"Of course she-"
"Wait, us?"
"Me and Juno." I clicked my tongue.
"Tsk. I should've known you three would gang up on me!" I murmur and Stormcloud rolls her eyes, grabbing my shoulders.
"Forget about that! How was it??" I give a noncommittal shrug.
"It was fine. We just talked and ate. Why? Are you looking for something?"
"DID YOU TWO KISS???" She demands almost immediately, clutching my shoulders tighter. I shrugged her out of them, uncomfortable with the tightness of her grip.
"Uh... yes. What does it-"
"YES! I have to tell Droplet- Juno and Nama owe us!!!" Stormcloud says happily and then goes out the door I was up against. I sigh in annoyance. Oh well, at least I can sleep now. I think, planting face first on my bed and falling asleep immediately.

ONE HOUR LATER...

Loud banging at my door woke me up.
"Ugh, what is it?!" I demand, opening my door to find Elliot standing there.
"Oh hi. How's your cold?"
"I-it's fine. Never better. The question is, are you alright?"
"Uh... Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?"
"Look... is it true that you went on a date with Lucyan?"
"No, of course not." I reply a second later. Whatever lecture my brother had was gone-he clearly did not expect me to say that. Yeah, I lied to him and lying is bad but desperate times call for desperate measures!
"Oh... well. What are you doing right now?"
"Well, I was sleeping before I was rudely awoken by someone!" I snapped and he chuckled.
"Right, sorry. But hey, if I hadn't awoken you, you could've ended up like Aurora!" I roll my eyes at his joke.
"As if I'm so stupid to prick my finger on a spinning wheel!" I retort before closing the door. A few moments later, the door is knocked on again.
"Ugh, Elliot go-" My eyes widen as a new (and welcome) guest is at my door.
"Lucyan! Hi."
"Hi... do you have the notes on Cinderellasburg?"
"Is that all?" I question and he smirks.
"Sorry, that's all, Lost Girl." I close my eyes.
"Ugh! Forget I asked!" I say in mock disgust and grab my notes for him. He hands them back to me afterwards.
"Thanks." He says and I nod. I glance around and then give his cheek a quick peck before he leaves.

Closing my door, again I glance over at my backpack... maybe I should start my homework, huh?

A FEW WEEKS LATER...

Elliot was continuing to grow suspicious and I was continuing to date Lucyan in secret.

Unfortunately... the guilt was getting to me and I asked Lucyan to meet in the dorm hallway.
"I... I can't do this."
"What? 'Us'?" I nod.
"My brother is getting suspicious and... I don't know how much longer I can hide it." I explain sadly. Lucyan eyes widen and he gets closer, squeezing one of my hands.
"Well, I'm not giving up! And you shouldn't either... so why are you?" I close my eyes and think about a response when... it clicks. Why else would I take this risk?
"Because I love you."
