One Week Later...

Deciding to take my mum's advice, I try and talk to Lucyan. Sounds simple right?

Wrong.

The guy is harder to find than I would've thought! He isn't around now, not even in my History of Auradon class. I thought about all the places I have tried to find him as I put some of my books back in my locker. I haven't checked the library yet... but why would he be there? Hmm...

"Sis!" I jumped at the sound of Elliot's voice and see him leaning against the locker next to mine.
"Uh... y-y-Yeah?" I stutter, still spooked.
"I've been calling you at five times now! Are you alright?" I blinked, looking down and thinking about my response. I then smile back up at him.
"I'm fine. Why?"
"Did you not just hear what I just said??" He asks exasperated and I frown.
"Yeah, you just said you were calling me five times," I sigh agitated, "so what is it do you want?" He blinks at me in a cross between worry and confusion.
"I just wanted to say hi, are you sure you're ok?" Elliot questions, concerned. I sigh.
"Sorry- I've just got a lot on my mind." I reply, smiling at him softly in apology. I look up when the bell rings. Thanks goodness!
"I gotta go study for Chemistry, see you  later." I say, waving at him. Elliot doesn't look entirely convinced, but let's me go anyway. Since I was thinking of studying, I decided to go to the library for some peace and quiet.

Time skip

The library is huge with dark oak walls and ceiling, dark crown molding, and big bay windows (filtering in natural light). It's absolutely gorgeous! But in my trance I bump into a long, oak table, making it a bit crooked. I turn around to rapidly explain myself when I see that it's Sylvia.
"Oh hey! What are you doing here?" I ask cheerfully and she chuckles.
"Well, I was about to study for chemistry. This is a library after all."
"Oh! You're studying for chemistry too? Mind if I study with you?" I ask with a beaming smile. She hesitates to speak, looks me and down to question if I have ill intentions, then gives me a small smile.
"Sure." I beam again and sit down next to her. I didn't blame for her being hesitant, she was from the Isle- they probably don't receive much kindness there. I open my textbook and we get to work.

Two hours later...

At around 5 pm, our brains were fried with information, so we decided to take a break for the night.
"I'm going to get some dinner at the cafeteria. Are you coming?" Sylvia asks me, closing her book on the table and standing up. I stand up after and nod.
"Yeah, I'm just going to put my textbooks in my dorm. My bag is my room."
"Ok. I'll save a seat for you." Sylvia suggests and I smile gratefully, as we both go our separate ways temporally.

Time skip...

I decided to take my time going to the cafeteria as I wasn't particularly hungry and it didn't close til 7:00 pm, but not to long that I left Sylvia hanging. As I was thinking about my dinner, I accidentally bumped into someone. I look towards the person I bumped into and blink.
"Oh...hi... Lucyan." I say awkwardly, self-consciously tucking a piece of my red locks behind my ear. He blinks at me as well, in surprise that we met again.
"Hi... Robin. Where are you off to?"
"The cafeteria." I reply as quickly as I can.
"Cool. Listen, I... uh, I wanted to apologize the other day." I look up at him in shock and he continues, "I shouldn't have made you so upset yesterday, and... I'm sorry." I blink at him again. I gawk. Open my mouth but nothing comes out. Try again. Still nothing. I am speechless and am hesitating, trying to find the right words. I can't wrap head around it, he seems sincere and yet- then it hit me.
"My brother put you up to this, didn't he?" I question and Lucyan stands there, one hand in his pocket and the other scratching the back of his neck, before looking up at me.
"Sort of." He replies vaguely and as I try to ask him what he means, he says "see you around Robin." Before running off. A lightbulb them went off in my head. Dang it! I should've asked him where he's been and if we could talk!! I think mentally slapping myself for my stupidity and give up, sighing, and walking to the cafeteria.

I got back to the cafeteria and sat down next to Sylvia with a plate of chicken tenders, oatmeal and a few pieces of strawberries on my tray. I smiled at her and began to eat, but Sylvia squinted.
"Are you ok? You were taking a while."
"I uh... bumped into someone." I reply vaguely, taking a bite of my oatmeal. She smirks with an eyebrow quirked.
"Who was this 'someone' eh? Someone I know?" Sylvia asked, hitting me lightly in the shoulder as she ate a piece of toast.
"Mm... yeah." I reply vaguely again.
"Alright, who is it? I'm dying to know now!" I frown as I eat my food, not looking at her.
"You're not going to like it." I explain, looking up at her with a look of guilt and she frowns, giving me some version of puppy eyes and I sigh.
"Alright. I'll tell you- it was Lucyan." I explain and she blinks.
"Why do you care so much?"
"Because I-" I sigh and tell her all about what happened last week and my mum's advice.
"You wanted to actually talk to him? What for?!"
"Because I just wanted some closure-He even apologized and then just walked off! I don't know what I wanted, I just to know he would apologize!" I exclaim, a few different emotions bubbling up to the surface. Sylvia puts her fork down and pulls me into a hug.
"What does it matter if he doesn't give a reason for his apology? Screw him! It's ok now." She explains calmly and when I become silent and pulls me out of her lion hug and looks me in the eyes.
"Robin do you... like Lucyan?" I hesitate to answer and look away.
"Honestly, I'm not sure." Sylvia doesn't anything else to my statement. Despite how it seems, it's true. I don't know if do. I don't like him. Do I?

Author's Notes

Good morning everyone! (For at least for me it's good morning)

I was gonna apologize for the short chapter, but we got up to a 1000+ words!

Anyway, this is the only chapter I could muster. I need some ideas for the next five chapters, if anyone has any- please tell me!

All that talk of food has made me hungry- luckily, I have two blueberry waffles with syrup to enjoy😋

Anyway, was actually planning on updating this chapter yesterday, but time got away from me and suddenly, oh whoops, it's 1am gotta go to sleep now!

I'm just glad I got to sleep in til past 8 am and I'm going to see a movie later this afternoon. In the meantime, I have homework to finish and a chapter of Lucy Quinn to write (even though I'm dreading it- unfortunately)

Don't know when the next chapter will be published, I'm kind of hoping to stick to a plan of uploading Lucy Quinn, Princess of the Pridelands and Lost Girl each week, but that probably won't work out.
