✨Prologue✨
I flew high above the trees, fairy dust trailing behind me. This was my favorite thing to do in Neverland. To see the beautiful blue sky and just-- oh! Where are my manners? My name's Robin Pan, daughter of Peter Pan and Wendy Darling! I live in Neverland, and wish to go to Auradon... but I can't go. Mom would probably let me go... if it wasn't for dad. Ever since King Beast's uniting of the Kingdoms of Auradon, dad's taken his job as "King of Neverland" very seriously. Maybe a little too seriously, in my opinion. I got grounded last week for stealing a tiny piece of pixie dust from the fairies. PIXIE DUST!! We've got plenty here!!! According to mom, he used to be just like me. Fun, adventurous, and... a bit imature. He he!
"Robin? ROBIN?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I turned around, still flying in the air. I waited a little longer, trying to hear who was calling. It was always so hard to hear when I was up so high.
"I CAN SEE YOUR PIXIE DUST TRAIL, DON'T THINK YOU'RE TRYING TO HIDE!!" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I swooped and snuck up behind the caller, my mother. As usual, she thought I was trying to hide from her or dad when I flew up there. The truth is, I just wanted to fly.
"Hey mum. What's up?" I ask, trailing pixie dust behind me as I float in the air behind her. She jumped in surprise and turned to face me.
"There you are, Robin! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Mum said, squeezing my hands and slightly falling off the ground from me still floating.
"What's happening?" I asked, coming down to the ground and looking at her excited expression.
"Come with me! We have to tell your father!!" Mum replies, not answering my question, probably too excited to answer. Whatever it is, if dad is involved it can't be good.

I was wrong. This was good, really good!
"I'm going to Auradon Prep?!" I exclaimed, rereading the letter again.
His royal majesty, King Ben of Auradon hereby requests the pleasure of your company, Robin Pan, to attend the current academic year at Auradon Prep. Please notify his majesty's couriers of your response.
Can't wait to meet you, Robin! Hope to see you there.
~King Ben
I jumped up and down, squealing in excitement.
"Wait... wait! So... you both agreed to this?" I asked overwhelmed with excitement, glancing quickly at both of my parents. Dad smirked.
"Yes. I'll let you go. You have to leave the nest some day, or at least that's what your mother keeps saying." Dad says while standing up from his seat and glaring at mum. As usual, dad being dad, he had to be childish-- and protective. My mother scoffed, rolling her eyes and turned to me with a smile.
"I'm so happy for you, sweetheart!!" Mum said, coming over to squeeze- I mean, hug, me.
"Mum. I know you're excited, but I can't breath!" I explained, starting to lose breath. She continued to smile and let me go. I let out a breath and smiled happily at the thought of going to Auradon. This was my dream!!!
"I'd love to stay and chat, but I've gotta go and tell some people the big news!!" I explained quickly as I skipped out the door. As I left, I heard mum chuckle in the distance.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
"Auntie Tink? Auntie Tink?!" I exclaimed as I snuck around the outside of her hut.
"Hello, my favorite niece!" I jumped and turned around see my Aunt Tinkerbell standing in front of me.
"Haha! Auntie Tink, I'm your only niece!"
"Oh who cares! I'm just glad you're here!" Aunt Tink replies rolling her eyes and giving me a hug.
"I have big news!" I explained as she began to flutter upwards.
"Oh! What is it?" Aunt Tink asked, curiosity and intrigue glittering in her bright blue eyes. I floated higher to appear taller and looked down at her.
"I'm going to Auradon!!!" I exclaimed and Aunt Tink gasped.
"That's amazing! I'm so happy for you, Robin!" She said with joy as I spun around in the air.
"I can't wait to fly around places that aren't Neverland!!!" Suddenly, Aunt Tinkerbell's face changed.
"Auntie Tink?" I questioned, titling my head as I floated down the ground.
"You know how your dad cut ties with the kingdoms?" She asked nervously.
"Yeah?"
"Well, you see... they don't allow magic." Aunt Tink explained and my eyes widened in shock.
"What?! How can they not allow magic!"
"King Beast wanted future generations to not rely on magic." Aunt Tink explains as my shoulders slump and I groan.
"I'll be back!" I explain, giving my aunt a small wave.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
"Dad? Dad?! DAAD!!!"
"Quit shouting, Robin! I'm over here!" I turn around and head towards my parents' room.
"What are you trying to do? Wake the Lost Boys up?" Dad asked, holding his pipe in his hands seemingly ready to play at any moment as I literally stepped one foot into their room.
"I don't care about them right now! Why didn't you tell me that you cut ties with Auradon because they didn't allow magic?!" I snap in a demanding tone, my gaze shifting between my mum and dad with clenched fists.
"You didn't ask. It didn't matter." Dad replied. I sighed in annoyance.
"Maybe I just shouldn't go." I mutter and walk out of the room.
"Robin, wait!" Mum says as I start to walk out.
I went outside, deep into the woods, and of course Mum followed.
"Dear, please talk to me! Why wouldn't you go? This is your dream!" I turned my head slightly to face her (because my back was turned) and sighed.
"What am I without flight? I'm no longer a Pan!" I explained with a pout and slumped shoulders, turning around to look at Mum face to face. After a few moments of silence, she finally spoke.
"No, you're right. But remember, you're also a Darling." Mum pointed out. I smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah. You're right." She was right. I am part Darling, part human. So I would survive. I wouldn't be able to fly, but at least I'd have my adventurous and kind spirit like mum. I hugged her and we walked back to the Lost Boys' camp.
