Ayumi Watanabe is just trying to survive. Kiko Takahashi is constantly living life on the edge. And Megumi Furukawa is picking back up the pieces of her life.

The three women all had different backgrounds and paths in life. One was an average college student, the second was a rich girl with a thirst for danger, and the third was a disgraced idol now living a life in the shadows. But what they all had in common was that they seemed to be in the right place at the same time, noticing the sky burst into fireworks before the world suddenly turned black.

When Ayumi wakes up, she finds herself in a dark and strange world. One where she has to play deadly, strange games to survive. Thankfully, she manages to find a group of people to survive with - but it's far from easy. Ayumi constantly has to look over her shoulder, fearing both the games and the strangers who are just as bad if not worse. She and Megumi work together with the others, navigating the games along with their emotions day by day. And as time passes, the stakes grow higher and the games grow deadlier.

Oh, and Kiko? She's having the time of her life. This new and strange world was everything Kiko could ever ask for and more. She wanted to keep playing these games, even at the risk of her own life. The only thing that mattered was the thrill and Kiko was willing to chase after it for as long as she lived.
