Sonakshi looked around standing in the middle of the living room, to see the emptiness that filled her house. Just few minutes back, this house was filled with chatters, giggles, laughs and now, just in a matter of few seconds, the silence had taken place. She sighed as she sat on the sofa with a thump. Just few days back, she was in her small city, surrounded by her friends who wouldn't leave a chance to tease her, to make her blush with the name of her to-be spouse who was now her very own husband. She was a girl who was looking up to her coming life with those dreams which were extremely special for her. That day came, when she had to get married to the man, which was choose for her by her parents and destiny. Her father's words still rang in her mind. "Aaj kal toh accha larka milna hi itna mushkil hai...uspe itni acchi family...Meri beti bohut lucky hai" And she smiled. For sure, her father was so right.

She was the only daughter of Mr. Bijoy Bose and Mrs. Asha Bose who were well respected in Panchkula. But when the people still follow the old tradition to think of a girl just as a machine who was born to give babies, nothing else and Education is strictly a No-No for them and boys were the only ones who were preferred, she couldn't thank God enough to bless her with such nice parents who loved and supported her all their life. Going against the wishes of the villagers and even their family members which also included her chachu, they allowed her to study and complete her bachelors in fine arts as per her wish but her mother also trained her in house-hold stuffs. And now, they chose this amazing man for whom her wishes, her dreams, her self-respect, her decision mattered the most.

They had been married for a week now and were settled in Delhi. Dev's small family stayed with her for a week, making her comfortable with the environment around while completing all the traditions. His sisters Riya and Nikki accepted her as a sister and adored her as a sister-in-law. They both took her out into the malls, cafe's, hotels to get her accustomed with the life of a big city and no matter how much she has already read about these things in novels, magazines & books, reading this and seeing this was completely a different experience.

Dev was driving back towards his small house after biding bye to his family who just left back for America. He himself was a USA return and now settled himself in Delhi as he started his own business of communication there. His parents themselves were from Panchkula like Sonakshi , but later moved out from there in search of a better future and were on a visit to the small place to refresh some of their old memories when they saw her and asked her for him from her parents. He still remembered how much excited Riya and Nikki sounded when both of them got back from the tour of the town and filled him with her description who particularly played the role of a guide for these NRI girls being the only girl who can speak English in the whole town. "Bhai, she was so beautiful...Awww...Mummy and Dad too liked her" Riya squealed. "And Unlike other small town girls, she is well-educated and so well-mannered...am so excited just with the thought that she can be our bhabhi" Nikki chimed in as the both girls hug and showed Dev some of the pics, they took. Dev felt his breath caught for a moment seeing that beauty and silently cursed his luck for sitting in that small room of the cottage and as to why the hell he preferred to miss the tour of the town that day. His parents came later and asked his permission that if they could arrange his marriage and he happily agreed and till now, that was the best decision of his life.

Dev while playing with his keys, got inside the house and closing the door turnes around only to be left spell bounded. There was sitting the most angelic face lady whose charm has worked their magic on him and his heart. She was sitting on the sofa, leaning her head at the back and her eyes were closed. She was wearing the beautiful purple sari having gold work on it. The light jewelry which included a pendent, he gave to her on their wedding night plus her magalsutra were gracefully placed against her neck and light dangling gold ear-rings were adding finality to it. Two gold bangles in one hand and a nice bracelet, in another. The henna print on her hand was still visible enough to approve her as newly wedded girl. Dev was in daze of her looks. "She is beautiful" he said taking a deep breath. He hardly got any time to spend with her last week as all the time Riya and Nikki would be glued to her saying we need to show bhabhi this, we need to take our bhabhi out for shopping. No matter how irritating her sisters were, he loved that they accepted Sonakshi from their heart.

Still admiring her, Dev moved towards her when Sonakshi shot her eyes open hearing the footsteps and got up. "App aa gaye??" She said with a little nervousness. "Sab aram se chalay gaye?" She asked as Dev sit on the sofa, shooing naughty thoughts from his mind.. "Haan sab aram se gaye..." Dev replied in his American accent. "Main aaj khane main kiya banaoon??" She asked further, still standing beside him. "Ummm" He wasn't in mood to eat at home. Damn from a week he was planning to take her out on dinner but someone or other would have to fulfill a ritual or would have to need Sonakshi for one thing or another. But right now, this EMPTY HOUSE, seemed like heaven. "Kuch bhi...jo tumhara mann kare" Dev replied with a smile and she left for the kitchen as if just waiting for his answer to run away. Getting into the kitchen, she took a deep breath. "Oh God!!...janay kyun inn ke saath ghar pe akele hone main kuch ajeen sa  feel ho raha hai...plz plz meri help kariye ga" She kissed her entwined fingers and tucking her sari's pallu in her waist, she got on to make a meal, that would take a huge amount of time so that can keep her occupied.

Dev went into his room and looked around. There was placed the merciless stupid couch that he was using in the night to sleep on from the last one week. He knew Sonakshi was scared and he didn't want to take a step ahead till she wasn't comfortable with him. And no matter how fast he wanted that awkwardness to leave the house, he wasn't given time to get close to her. But now, it's all his territory. He was just happy even with the thought that now Sonakshi's full attention will be on him. He switched on the small LCD that was stuck to the wall in his room to pass on the time till Sonakshi will be done with the food.

An hour passed on and no news from Sonakshi. Not a single voice. He was now getting irritated and flipped through channels again and again, but when that doesn't seem to satisfy him, he closed it and get up to have a look on what's going on in the kitchen.

Sonakshi was busy. Too much busy to notice Dev around. Two pots with closed lids were placed on the fire and Sonakshi was busy in making batter for cake, she planned to serve as dessert later on. She washed her hands and turned towards the stove, checking in the pots. One of the two things were done so she turned off a burner and turn the second one low and was back to her batter, mixing it with the help of the spoon. Dev was looking at her with desire. Her bare waist was now more visible the way she tucked it. She dipped her finger in to taste the sugar and licked it. "mmmhhh" she moaned in pleasure and that was the last straw of patience for Dev. He moved towards her with quick steps as she again dipped her finger in batter and grabbed her hand just before it can reach her mouth. Sonakshi looked up at him with shocked eyes. "App..." She was just able to say that when Dev moved forward his face towards her finger filled with batter and licked it, making Sonakshi tremble.

Sonakshi took a deep breath as her body tremble feeling his seductive tongue movement on her finger. Just a touch, and she felt her legs giving away their support. Dev felt the passion arising in him and also noticed her body shuddered with his touch. He felt her moving back taking a slow step when his hand slowly came around her slender waist. His fingers moved around it in their own rhythm as if playing an instrument and settling themselves at her back pulled her to him as her body hit his. With the sudden moment, her silky hairs fell on his face, He closed his eyes as he inhaled the intoxicant smell of the shampoo mixed with the smell of her, making it more divine. Sonakshi's heart was beating too furiously in her throat with their closeness. Dev nuzzled her neck still with his closed eyes. Sonakshi's eyelids too started to drop feeling his nose tracing pattern on her long neck. His one hand was still holding her while, the other one came around to untucked her pallu from around her waist. One soft pull and it was out from her waist grip. She felt the soft movement of her pallu run around her. Dev hand caught hold of her hand which was now strongly tied into a fist, trying to hold back. His fingers now started there torture out there as he softly traced her milky hand upwards with the help of them. Sonakshi felt her world turn around with his heart-touching movements. His fingers tracing her arm, his nose tracing her neck, his body close to hers. She was feeling short of breath. Dev smiled slowly as his hand came up and dropped the pallu of her sari from her shoulder that exposed her a little. She was feeling extremely shy and wanted to hide herself somewhere when Dev moved her head up, looking straight into her eyes. His thumb traced her shaking lips as she bit them. "Shhh" he said softly trying to stop her biting them and as she looked up at him, he closed the distance between their faces.

"Dev..." Dev felt a soft touch on his shoulder. Someone was poking him but leaving the thought beside he didn't dare move his face aside and keep on moving forward to capture her luscious lips in the hold of him. Sonakshi looked at him with weird expression. It seemed like he was having the time of his life in his sleep. "Dev...Please uth jayeie...Khana ready hai" Sonakshi again said but when he didn't get up she look at him with a confuse look and her eyes got a look of the glass half-filled with water beside the bed. She again look back at him, giving a last try but when he didn't get up, she caught hold of the glass and sprinkle few water drops on his face which wake him up. He looked around with dazed eyes and found Sonakshi standing in front of his with a frowning look. "Tum wahan kya kar rahi hoo...?" He asked slowly as still he was lost in his dream. That dream was too real to feel for him. "Matlab?" Sonakshi asked raising her brows. But now he realized that it was all a dream. "Damn" he cursed under his breath as he came to reality and shake his head. How he wished that it's all would have been real. "Khana laga doon..." Sonakshi asked once gain. "haan laga do..." Dev said shooing her away and raising her shoulders, she left. Dev get up and went straight to washroom to splash some water on his face so he can control himself. Surely the cold water provided him enough strength to bare the torture he is having now-a-days by seeing his sexy wife in front of him 24*7 but still he couldn't touch her. He knew she needed time and that's all can happen if she trust him enough to share herself with him. Trust is the basis of each relationship and to start this relationship, Dev decided that he would start slowly.

He took hold of the chair as Sonakshi served him the dinner. He said a small thank you and tore a bite of roti and dipped it in tasty butter chicken. "Mmm" He made a sound that truly indicated how mouth-watering the taste was. Suddenly his own moan made him remember the dream and a flash of Sonakshi moaning while licking her fingers run in his mind. He looked up straightly at her who was chewing her food, but feeling his gaze, looked up with a tensed face. She gulped down her saliva as she asked. "Accha nahin bana??" Her eyes showing dismay when Dev got that his action give her a wrong signal. He smiled and nodded in NO.. "Bohut accha bana hai..." A sweet smile played on her lips as she heard that and get back to chew her food with a slight blush on her cheeks. Dev adored her. Simple things and simplest gestures of LOVE. That's what she wanted, and that's what he is going to give her. After finishing up with the food, Dev helped her in cleaning the table and as she washed the dishes, he helped in wiping them. Though Sonakshi argued, but Dev was adamant. When they finished off with the kitchen chores, Sonakshi was drying her hands with a towel. "Sonakshi...Mere saath bahar walk pe chalo gi..." He asked out from the blue. Sonakshi looked at him and seeing his raising brows and blinking eyes, she can't help but smile. "Bilkul" and they made their way to the door.

They walk slowly, side by side. Dev's hands were tucked in his pant pockets while Sonakshi was rubbing her hands. The days were awfully hot in this month of April, but the nights, were still a lil chilly. The silence between them seemed like a permanent thing hanging and more than anything, Dev did not like it at all. Her voice was so sweet that it felt like honey dripping from her soft lips. Dev didn't mind hearing them each second of his coming life, If just it means, that this awkwardness and this silence is not going to take a place in their life. Quite opposite to those men who complain that their wives talk too much, rarely giving them a chance to talk, he was ready to hear her out as more than words, he will let his actions speak his desires. As on cue, A stone came in between her way and her heel fitted foot turned a bit. "Owww" she stumbled and took hold of his hand for support. He looked at her quickly and supported her. "Tum theek hoo...?? his concern made her smile as she nodded. Getting out from there lane, they saw a small park filled with plants and trees. Few distant bulbs were on providing enough light for them. Few couples were out for stride just like them. They too join them inside and take two rounds of the park. Now a small mud hump caught her heel and she again lost her balance. "I think, agay se main raat ko kabhi heels pehen ke na nikloon..." Sonakshi mumbled feeling bad as this was the first time she was out on a walk with her husband. She was newlywed so according to her hometown rules, Girls should keep on dressing up till few days of their marriage as a sign to show themselves newly wedded and wearing heels were a part of it. With her constant tumbling with it, he must be thinking what a clumsy wife he got. Dev smile seeing her babbling and took hold of her hand. Sonakshi looked up at him as his hand entwined his fingers with her's. "I promise, main girne nahin doon ga" His eyes spoke the truth and she trusted him instantly. Still holding her hand, he led themselves back to their home.

It was the first step Dev took to get her comfortable with each other. That night, though Sonakshi regretted when Dev turn to the couch with his pillow and comforter. "App bed pe so jayiye...Main doosre room main chali jati hoon" Sonakshi asked sensibly. That couch wasn't suitable enough to sleep on and she knew, he wasn't comfortable with it. Everyone left so they have a spare room in their home. "nahin...Tum bed pe so...main theek hoon" Dev replied. He can't bear the thought to not be even able to stay this close to her. She was in this room, his room, their room. This thought was enough to put him to sleep. "nahin main chali jati hoon" She took hold of her pillow when Dev replied in a strong voice. "Nahin, tum nahin ja rahi...Main couch pe theek hoon...aur waise bhi, subah maid aye gi cleaning k liye...Humain alag alag rooms main dekhay gi toh ye sahi nahin hai" Dev made up an excuse. Sonakshi thought over it for a minute and nodded. Dev went to the couch and lay down after putting the pillow and covered himself up, looking her way as she closed the lights of the room and lay down. Her presence in these few days had made a huge difference on him. Even though, they weren't sharing the bed, but just the feeling that she is nearby, he could smell her in the air around which was providing peace to his jumpy heart.

Dev was going to his office as an important deal had to be signed. He had hired two-three workers for the chores and would be back home in the evening till 5. He would help Sonakshi in cooking, cleaning, maintaining the house. "Tum ghar main reh ke bore nahin ho jati?" He asked few days later. "Ho jati hoon...lekin phir main yahan zyada kuch janti bhi toh nahin" She replied honestly. "Ok...Toh phir kal hum shopping pe chalain gay...Tum iss ghar ko decorate karne ke liye kuch cheezain le aana aur saath hi saath main tumhain yahan paas ke market bhi dikha doon ga...so agar tumhain kuch chahiye ho, aur main available na hoon, toh tum ja sakti hoo" He wanted to make her independent. She was a strong girl, he knew that. That's why she was the only girl in Panchkula that held a bachelor's degree but he didn't want to let her be depending on someone, even if that's him. "OK" Sonakshi agreed. They just settled themselves on the sofa when Dev's phone rang and seeing the caller, he got a smile and picked it up. "Hey little sis...How are you?" "Great bhai...you tell me how are you and your married life..." Riya voice was naughty that made Dev smirk. Before he can answer, he heard Nikki shouting in the back. "How is bhabhi...Ask him na" He look up at Sonakshi who sipped the tea and was looking at him. "Riya...We are fine and so our married life...and Nikki...your bhabhi too" He said the last part a little louder that made the girls laugh on the other side. "Great...OK, Hold on...let me get this call on speaker" Riya said and for few seconds, Dev just heard his sister chattering and finally Riya spoke. "Yeah...It's done...So bhai, howz your work going on...settled well in Delhi?" Nikki asked this time. "Yeah Nikki...Everything going on perfect" Dev replied. "But bhai, it is not like that you are giving all the time to your work, making bhabhi get bored in the house all alone...right?" Riya's concern for her bhabhi really made Dev happy. Just few days they spend together, and all right now they are thinking about is that there brother is not ignoring their bhabhi. "Yeah yeah Riya...it is not like that...Come on, you can confirm this from your bhabhi" He said sweetly as bhabhi word sounds so sweet to him hearing it from his sisters. Dev handed over the phone to Sonakshi, who take it with a warm smile and get on. "Hello" She said and them for a moment, she felt like a bomb explode in her ear as she pulled the phone a little away from her ear as the girls squealed "Hey bhabhi...How are you? howz your life...You feeling OK...you settled well in the city?" They both started on with these questions that made Sonakshi laugh and that was the first time, Dev saw her laughing from her heart. What a beautiful sight. He thought sipping his tea and looking at her from above the rim of his cup. "Hold on...1st, I am fine...2nd life is great...3rd...??" She thought what the 3rd question was but left it. "Never mind, I loved this city and we are well settled now..." Nikki and Riya felt relieved. "Ummm...Bhabhi can you please get away from bhai?" Riya asked a moment later. Sonakshi twitched her lips and looked up and with an excusing look get up, and went up to her room. "OK, I am alone now..." Sonakshi said as she slightly close the door behind herself. Dev didn't like the way she left but he knew, it must be his sister's plan. "Nikki...You ask na..." Riya murmured. "No, You should...You are equal to her age...I am younger, it feels awkward to ask this" Nikki said back in a serious tone. Sonakshi frown on the other side and not taking it anymore, she said. "Girls, please spill the beans...?" She asked. "Hmmm...Bhabhi, did you guys plan to go on your honeymoon...It's just we are asking out of curiosity" Riya asked with an apologizing tone. Sonakshi felt loose of words. From all the things after her marriage, the one thing she herself was looking for was their honeymoon but Dev didn't mention it yet. In the past few days, they had created a very nice relationship. Dev was supportive and nice man and somewhere or another, she started having feeling for him, who was unknown to her just before their wedding. Unlike most guys, she had heard from her friends, he didn't try to make a move towards her, making it clear that he wasn't after their physical relationship. He was working on the emotional one first and she respected him a lot for this. "Bhabhi...????" Nikki voice boomed in her ears as she was lost in her thoughts. "Yeah...NO ... Nothing decided yet...Your bhai is a little busy with his work..." Sonakshi said as of informing herself too. "It's not done..." Riya said with a stern tone. "Totally not..." Nikki agreed. "We will talk to him...No actually Mom is going to talk to him" Riya said but when Sonakshi tried to stop them, they didn't listen. Defeated, Sonakshi came out from the room and after giving the phone back to Dev, she left to the kitchen. GOD!! it's so embarrassing that her sister-in-laws and mother-in-law are planning her honeymoon with her husband.

Next day Dev and Sonakshi went on to shopping together. Dev keep holding her hand as they move from one shop to another inside the mall and didn't leave it until necessary. He made Sonakshi buy a sari of his choice and allowed her to choose two of her's. In between Dev excused himself for a couple of minutes while she was sitting in the sari shop and came back with a sweet smile on his lips but didn't say anything. He paid the money as they got out from the shop and made their way out, but he stopped in between, looking at something that caught his eye. Sonakshi looked up to see him looking on the displayed lingerie's of an innerwear store. It was a beautiful white silk one which was covering the body of the statue till its mid-thighs. Sonakshi looked away in embarrassment as her cheeks flushed with the view but then she found many men, accompanying there women inside that shop. Dev felt her face shifting away and too look away. No matter what he wished, he doesn't want to make her feel conscious. So giving a tight smile, he led them out from the mall. And getting back home, he took a long cold shower that can put his hormones on check.

Dev planned to go on a 5 day honeymoon trip to Manali. He make reservations with a help of a traveling agency which provide convince to look around in the city and give a detail tour. He was sure Sonakshi will love to move around and weather out there would be perfect for their honeymoon. He wrapped up his work quickly and get ready to go after 4 days. Sonakshi was excited as well anxious about their honeymoon. She herself loved his company but knew, they can't stay like this forever. He was waiting for her cue and now, she trusted him enough to get on with their lives as ONE.

The trip to Manali was a beautiful journey. In the bus trip, they met many newly wedded couples and instantly create a sweet bond with them. Dev loved it when Sonakshi fell asleep on his shoulder and was holding his hand throughout as if she was afraid to lose him and that give him enough hope that this trip is going to be one of the best trips of his life.

They reached Manali late in the night. The couples took out there bags and went to reception and getting there room keys, made their way towards their rooms. Dev and Sonakshi open there room door only to be left spell bound. They didn't know that the honeymoon package included these benefits too like burning candled room and on bed, rose petals were spread. A wine bottle was chilling on a side table and two glasses were placed beside. Dim lights of the room were on and that flowered air-freshener was making it more romantic. Dev's first concern was that Sonakshi would misunderstand him on this as it wasn't his plan but hearing the loud gasps of the other couples who just opened their room door, made it clear that it was a gift from there travelling agency. Sonakshi looked up at him in acknowledgment as if saying DONT-WORRY-I-GOT-IT...and Dev was not more than thankful to her.

They get inside and Dev went to take a quick shower as Sonakshi took out there nightwear. She handed Dev his towel and night suit that include a trouser and a vest like usual. Dev came out with his wet hairs, but before he can look at Sonakshi, she rushed inside, not giving him a chance. He felt strange at her behavior but shook the thought away and looked around the room. There was no couch or sofa in the room so tonight, he planned that he would settle himself on the floor. May be that's why Sonakshi was feeling awkward. He thought and then decided that he will relieve her from her uncertainty as soon as she will be out. He threw the towel on the bed and look at the wine bottle. "A light wine wont hurt much..." He smiled and open the bottle to pour some in a glass. he glass just touch his lips, when the washroom door open with a click and his gaze turn towards it and the scene in front made him forget all about his surroundings. Sonakshi was standing there in a navy-blue silk lingerie that was barely able to cover her long milky legs which she just waxed yesterday. The glass moved away from his lips as his wife was looking more intoxicated than anything he ever experienced. Her hairs were lightly tied in a pony. Her cheeks were flushed. Her lips trembling with anticipation. Her fingers playing with themselves. Her legs giving away their support after she just saw a glimpse of his facial reaction as she was feeling too shy to look at him later on. Dev was too lost in processing the view in front of him to say a word or make a move and that made Sonakshi pretty anxious. "Maine Riya ko kaha tha k ye mujhpe suit nahin kare gi...Main change kar k..." But before she can run back into the washroom, Dev gripped her hand and pinned her to the wall, making her shocked. Her dressing up like this did indicate that she was ready to take the next step of their married life. She looked up to find his smoldering eyes digging deep into her skin and making her shuddered. "You are looking beautiful..." He said in a whisper barely hearable but she heard that. Her heart was pumping blood in a double speed as his hand came around her waist, and traced up to here half bare back. The feeling was sensational as she bit her lip, trying to hold her emotion. Dev inched forward and placed his lips on her rosy cheeks. Sonakshi tried to move her face away but Dev didn't let her as his lips traveled down her jaw towards her throat. His hand that was caressing her back came up to remove the band catching her hairs, and make them easy. He nuzzled her neck as she gasped in pleasure and smiling gave a sweet love-bite on her shoulder. His fingers traced her hands and came up to remove the strap that was creating a barrier between his lips and her skin. Sonakshi's nails dig in his shoulder feeling the silk running down her skin and not baring it anymore, turn around. Dev was high on passion. All his inner desires were coming out from the box now. He removed her hairs from the back and placed soft kisses out there as his hands landed on her abdominal. Sonakshi's breath was getting ragged with these seductive movements of her husband. His lips were exploring her's own their own will, not leaving a place and with each kiss, she shuddered. She hissed as Dev bit her ear-lobe. "Tumhain kuch chupanay ki zaroorat nahin...kyunke tum mere liye...duniya main sab se khubsurat hoo" He whispered against her ears. He made her turned around and not able to look up, she hugged him tightly. Dev hugged her back and holding her up a little from her waist, lead her to the bed that was ready to hear another love story. He made her lay on the bed and get up to pull his vest off. Sonakshi turned on the bed in shyness waiting for him when she felt his fingers on her feet and with that, he took her to the heaven of their relationship. He cherished this divine beauty and made her feel totally loved with his kisses and soft and gentle movements. In the end, BEAUTIFUL was the only word, Sonakshi can call it before she fall asleep in the security of his arms.

The Honeymoon was as beautiful as they wished of it to be. Dev and Sonakshi went as TWO different souls, but came back as one. There shinning eyes, there never-ending smiles were enough to guarantee a beautiful beginning and to ensure a superb future. Dev Sonakshi were back from there blissful tour and dropped their bags in there room. Dev look around and took a deep breath. From tomorrow, it's going to be same as before. He will be off to work but this time, he will miss his wife like hell. These 5 days together made them so close that even he didn't see her for a second, he felt restless. But he knew, they can't lead their life like this. He needed to earn to fulfill each of their dreams. But he dismissed his thoughts and decided to go with a flow. His eyes fell on the merciless couch that hold the memories of his restlessness. He look at it with a side-looped smile and grinned. Sonakshi noticed that and look at the couch for a moment and then back at him. "Dev, kia hua?" She asked with a confused look. "Hmmm...kuch nahin...Was just thinking...that before this bed stores most of our happy moments, we should better teach a lesson to this devil of the couch" and his raising brow and teasy grin was enough to make her know, what kind of lesson, he want to teach that couch. She was tired enough from all the traveling but before she can argue, Dev held her from her waist and give a soulful kiss that shook her inside out. And she knew, that he knows, that whenever he used to kiss her like this, she didn't have the power to say NO "You love me na..." His voice sound of a cute kid looking for his candy...she smiled and gave in to his demands as he led her to the couch to teach that couch a lesson and to show her, how much he loved and desired her.
