lie detector
Request: I am begging for an imagine where Colson has the strongest feelings for the reader, but is far too stubborn to admit it. She joins the two guys for the lie detector test and they decide last minute for her to participate. When she gets hooked up, she literally gets asked all these questions about Pete and it makes Colson a tad jealous. But the last question is what reveals it all. Oh my goodness, I can't wait to see what you come up with, I'm in LOVE with your writing!
A/N: I'm so glad you feel that way, I hope you enjoy!

You sat down in the seat that was positioned across the table from your two good friends, Colson Baker and Pete Davidson. They both had their hands clasped together on top of the surface and their eyes steadily focused on you.
Especially Colson.
"I can't believe that you two actually tricked me into doing this," You complained as the workers were hooking you up to the machine. "I should have known."
"I feel like this is going to be extremely fun," Pete admitted, flashing you an amused grin. You narrowed your eyes at him. "We don't even know the questions we're going to ask you."
"Oh, that makes this even better," You grumbled sarcastically. Your eyes followed one of the workers walk in from behind you and hand two envelopes to Colson and Pete. You inhaled deeply. "I've never done this before, and quite frankly, I'm a little nervous."
"True."
Your two friends lightly chuckled from the response of the man reading the results. At least you knew that it was working. You just hoped that it wasn't going to ask you anything about relationships or falling in love. Frankly because the one you were in love with was sitting right across from you. The six foot four man with blonde hair has been the one wanted ever since you've met him.
At first, you thought that Colson was just kind to everyone, but lately, he's been treating you a little differently than other girls he hangs around. He would be blushing crazily, acting clumsily and stumble upon his words. But most of all, he would just stare at you from across the room. Others would find it creepy, but you found it cute.
You liked how Colson couldn't keep his eyes off of you. Although you've been hanging with Colson a lot lately, you've also been with Pete just as much. You and Pete have seen out in public before, which no doubt sparked the couple rumors. It was clear that the media wasn't going to let it go. Soon enough, once the paparazzi saw you, Colson and Pete out together, you turned from being Pete's "Girlfriend" to being part of the amazing trio.
Pete and Colson had tricked you into thinking that they were taking you to your favorite fast food, but you all ended up in a studio with Vanity Fair. Colson and Pete enjoyed torturing you together whenever they got the chance, it was something you had gotten used to. They've never pulled something like this though, and you were hoping the questions weren't going to be too revealing.
"Alright [Y/N], I've got the first question," Pete said, adjusting himself inside his seat. He cleared his throat and briefly skimmed the question before reading it out loud. "[Y/N], do you think that you and I would ever be a good couple?"
Colson snapped his eyes to the side and glared at Pete who was slightly smirking at you. You rolled your eyes and chuckled softly. You knew that that question was going to get asked. Colson glanced over Pete's shoulder and his eyebrows shot straight up as he saw that the question was actually what Pete asked.
"Yes. I think that we would make a good couple, Pete."
"She's telling the truth."
Pete laughed and leaned forward, reaching out for a fist bump from you. Colson licked his lips as he watched you and Pete fist bump each other.
"That was a weird first question," Colson mumbled, sliding out his first question. "[Y/N], what do you think of Pete's new tattoo?" Colson asked, soon pausing as he finished the question. "Alright, what's up with these questions? Why are they all about Pete?"
"A bit jealous I see," Pete joked, lightly nudging Colson with his elbow. Colson rolled his ocean blue eyes. He loved Pete, but not when he's the main subject that you're talking about. "Anyways, go on [Y/N], hit me with your words."
"I think it's sick Pete," You answered truthfully with a slight shrug. "You really know how to choose good tattoo's."
"She's telling the truth."
Pete nodded and threw his hand up in the air, retrieving a high from you. Colson tightened his jaw in anger. He wasn't enjoying the entire chemistry happening between you and his best bud. It was Pete's turn, but Colson interrupted with a question that wasn't written down. But he wasn't afraid to pretend to read it off a card.
"[Y/N], between Pete and I," Colson spoke, pointing between him and Pete. "Which one would you prefer to take you out on a date?"
You gulped in panic. You knew that Colson pulled that out of nowhere, but your first instinct was to lie. You inhaled deeply and tried to remain calm, knowing that if the machine read your nervousness, it would spike. You blinked and calmly responded with Pete's name leaving your mouth. Pete smiled widely. Colson's eyes lowered from yours, but the man read the results which made Colson perk back up.
"That's a lie."
Pete snorted. "I knew it."
You blinked and stared at Pete blankly who didn't seem to be reacting in anyway. Colson on the other hand was staring at Pete in confusion as well. Pete glanced over at Colson.
"Seriously dude? Even I knew the answer to that," Pete scoffed, rolling his soft brown eyes. "You don't think I see the way that you stare at [Y/N] whenever we go out? Or the way you act around her? Come on man, I know you."
"Wait, what about the questions?"
"All made up," Pete said, tossing the rest of the cards over his shoulder. He smiled at Colson who wasn't very happy. "I gathered with everyone behind your back and told them to purposely make the questions like that. We wanted to see how far we could get before you broke and exposed yourself." Pete explained, causing Colson to flush completely. "Speaking of, yo Danny! You owe me ten bucks!"
Colson cleared his throat awkwardly and looked over at you who was slightly blushing. You could already tell Colson felt the same, and you were extremely happy about that. You just couldn't show your excitement until later, you were just glad that Colson felt the same.
