(Just letting you all know, that Chapters are 1 episode of a cartoon... if this were a cartoon. Also, magic isn't like Superpowers, despite me Saying Powers. They're taught. Mack just didn't have interest in learning magic) 

Mack Was walking around a Forest, with her friends, Alex and Angeline. She swung her sword back and forth, not really caring a whole lot.  Angeline was humming a little song, and Alex just stayed silent, trying to act tough.... despite being the shortest of the 3.

"So, Why are we in the forest again?" Alex asked, breaking the silence. "Like, any particular reason?", He said, Stretching his arms

"No, not really, I was just bored." Mack answered, putting her sword back in her sheath, and pulling out her phone. She then went onto Twitter (yes, it exists), and going onto her feed.

"Oh..." Angeline responded. "So... we're not here to find treasure or other things?" They asked, Looking around. They were a bit quiet, but this is because they're already normally quiet

"NOPE! Just good ol' explorin' and waiting for the adventure to come to us!" Mack said, Coming across a small clearing. "And dont worry, Our parents know we're exploring. I texted them" She said, so they didn't worry. 

 Alex and Angeline followed Mack into the Clearing. Angeline looked around, for any danger, while Alex Looked at his own Shield. He looked up, and heard a Boom in the distance. "What was that?" He asked, alarmed.

Angeline and Mack Hastily looked around, before the Boom stopped. "I dunno...", Mack answered, not sure of what it was.

Angeline looked at a Nearby Pond, and made some water dance. "Well, whatever it was, it seemed to be a 1 time thing..." They muttered ",but we should check it out before it comes again.." they said, Running off towards the Sound

Alex and Mack swiftly Followed. Eventually, they all got to the noise's origin. 

"Hmmm... Doesn't seem like anything bad happened..." Alex said, before a small hole opened up. It wasn't a crack in the Earth, but more of a Void Portal that opened up. 

Quickly, Alex and Angeline jumped behind a bush. Mack would have followed, but her sword and shield weighed her down, and she fell. She quickly scampered behind the same Bush. Then, the Portal Opened up more, and out came a figure. 

"Shoot! Is that a demon?" Mack said quietly. She then went quiet as the figure loomed over them.

"Well... Hi!" The Figure said, doing a backflip in the air. 

The 3 teens had no response.

"Well, What did you expect?" The Demon asked. "Something scarier?" 

The 3 teens nodded. They all seemed to be freaked out.

"LIKE THIS? "The Demon said, as his voice and appearance changed to something much more Scary. They went from looking humanoid to an actual Demon in a split second. He then changed back. "Well, not from me. Hi. I'm Virgil. Virgil the Demon." He said

"Well.... hi.... Virgil...." Alex said, getting up. "Are you putting on an act or are you really like this?" He asked, getting suspicious. He looked around Virgil, seeing if anything was out of the ordinary for a demon.

"Well, one, Ouch. And 2, What act? You've never seen a friendly demon?" He asked, now curious. He stopped floating and touched the ground as the portal Closed.

Mack then chimed in. "Uhhh, no. From what we've heard from Pop Culture, media, and Books, Demons are.... Evil. No offense", she said, trying not to sound mean.

Virgil didn't look surprised. "Ooooh... That's fair." He said, cool with it. "So, now that you know my name, I think it's only fair that i get to ask you 3 that.", he said, smiling.

"Well, I'm Mack." Mack said. "This is Angeline. She's shy around people she's never met before." Mack said, Angeline Waving at Virgil. "And this is Alex." Mack continues. 

"Well, hi! You 3 seem neat." Virgil said, before noticing Mack's  Sword. "That's a nice sword you have there." He said, trying to pull it out, to see it, before Mack slapped his hand.

"Don't touch my sword please." She said, putting the sword back in it's sheath. "So, seen anything go Awry?" Mack asked, wanting to do something to help anything. 

Virgil thought for a bit. "Not that I've seen, He said, looking around.

Then, All of a sudden, The boom from Earlier happened to be closer, except This time, tree falling came as well, followed with some Smoke. It Was close.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" Virgil yelled, semi scared.

"Wait.. are you scared? A demon, scared of something?" Alex joked.

Virgil Blushed from embarrassment. "M-Maybe! Anyways, what was that?"

Angeline smelled the Air. "Based off of the smell, I'd Say a Dragon. And it's the stereotypical Fire breathing one." They said. "I Can control water, so i can definitely counter that." The muttered.

"And i Have fire powers. I can probably control the Fire, and send the fire from the trees onto the dragon." Alex said, planning what he was going to do.

"All i have is a sword. All i can do is try to swing at it." Mack muttered. "What about you Virgil? You wanna help us defeat this Dragon?... or at least calm it down?" She Asked.

Virgil looked braver. "I'll help With sending away from the forest. I could probably send it to a Mountain. But my portals don't last forever. And they Use up a lot of energy. We need to make sure we can send it, before i open the portal." Virgil Explained.

The 3 teens looked at each other, before looking at Virgil. "Got it, They said, All in unison, before running off towards the dragon. As Angeline had suspected, it was a dragon. It was a goldenrod color, with Red irises. It then noticed the Teens. it breathed fire out at Them. Angeline then Used her magic, and she blocked the fire with water. 

Alex Used Pyrokenises and took the fire from the trees, and brought it towards the Dragon. When it touched the Dragon, it Screeched, but not from pain. It Seemed that the Dragon was immune to fire... or at least its own fire. 

Mack ran off towards the dragon's leg, and slashed. It left a mark, but the scales were durable.  "This is kind of hard! Hey Angeline, You think you could lift me up with some water?" She asked.

"Sure!" Angeline responded. They rolled out of the way of the fire, before using her Hydrokinesis, and lifting up Mack, closer to the Dragon's back.

Mack jumped Swam out of the water, and gave a thumbs up to Angeline, signifying that She's OK. Angeline then Used the water, and smacked the dragon with it. The dragon let out a roar, and swung it's tail, aiming for Angeline. Angeline jumped out of the way, but got scratched a bit on their cheek. They rubbed it, before starting to hit the Dragon with more water. 

Meanwhile, Alex was fighting back some fire, and redirecting any fire it Breathed back at itself.  Alex seemed to be fine, until it tried to swing  one of it's claws/talons/whatever they're called at Alex. He took out his shield, and blocked it. 

Mack was slashing at the back of it's neck. The dragon seemed to be getting tired. "VIRGIL, NOW!" Mack yelled. 

Virgil's Eyes glowed white, and a portal just big enough for the dragon formed. Mack jumped off, and went up against the Dragon's Side. "EVERYBODY, PUSH!" She yelled, Pushing the dragon.

Alex and Angeline joined in, using their Magic. They all pushed the dragon into the Portal, and it fell in, before it closed behind it, and Virgil's Eyes stopped glowing white. He fell to the floor, breathing heavily. "That was a big portal..." He muttered, catching his breath. 

"So Virgil, that was pretty cool. Do you live around here?" Alex asked, wanting him to stay.

"I have Some folks who are somewhat related here. I wouldn't mind living here.." He answered Alex. "Besides, i think my parents enrolled me in school here. Wallow Ridge High, i think it was."

"We go to that school!" They all answered in unison. 

"Well, we should be heading back. You wanna come?" Angeline asked Virgil.

Virgil though about it for a second. "Yeah. besides, I'm not going to stay here in this forest and risk getting hurt." He said, as all 4 of them went off towards their neighborhood.
