Chapter 3. The homesickness has taken its shape

The team trained themselves and they could open the gate successfully after 15 days.

In those 15 days, team Riko and some people learned sign language so that they can communicate with Amar. All of them realized how happy he was when he could communicate with them by his 'voice'.

In those 15 days, somehow Amar became very close to the musician delver.

Now it was time for their farewell.

"Why don't you join us on this adventure?" Riko asked Amar.

'When you finish your mission, just come back to visit me. I am here. It is very close though.' He smiled and continued, 'I will prepare a great party to welcome you when you return.'

Actually Amar felt that if it was team Riko, they would return very soon. They were the strongest team that he has ever seen.

"How can it be possible? It is..." Riko was so surprised after seeing the scene behind the gate.

"It is Orth, our city." Reg continued from what Riko skipped.

Behind that huge wall in the Seventh layer, their homesickness has taken its shape.

It was so sweet but so bitter at the same time.

Faraway was Nat, Shiggy and even Mitty in her human form who were waving their hands happily to welcome them.

When you found your 'value', your journey finished.

"She is real, sosu."

"He is fake, sosu."

"That guy is real, sosu."

"The girl in that corner is-"

Riko stopped Faputa "Hey Faputa, I knew that you can distinguish them by their soul's signal but may you speak smaller?"

Faputa nodded her head.

Reg said "All the members of our team separated to meet their clone friends. Is it ok?"

Riko wondered "What kind of place is it? It looks like all of our wishes are granted here."

"Let's go to the center of the city to ask the governor according to the instructions we saw on the streets." Reg replied.

The governor was just a big floating smoke which could talk like a human.

"This place is not the seventh layer of the abyss" He told us.

In front of our surprising faces, he continued.

"This place is a 'world', which lies between the border of the sixth layer and the seventh layer. Meeting a very rare ratio, you can enter this 'world'. If you want a description about this 'world', I can explain shortly as following 'Announcement':

Firstly, the time schedule in this place only lasts for 30 days. At the end of the 30th day, the 'world' will reset to its beginning. We called it 'Reset point'. You will lose all your memory through your past 30 days, be put at your beginning point and start a new memory experience. If a person dies in this 'world', they definitely re-live at the reset point.

Secondly, as you can see, all of your wishes are granted here. The people you love, the scenes you want to see, the things you want to have.

Finally, despite how beautiful this 'world' is, please remember that this 'world' is not the real world."

At their shocked expressions, the governor gave them advice "Please always ask yourselves these questions 'How many times have you heard this 'Announcement'? 'Was it really your first time?'"

"How can we escape from this 'world'?" Riko asked without any hesitation.

"Break it and you can escape. The only way is to use a sword called 'Amorydeseo'. You must have met Amar - the gatekeeper." The governor answered shortly.

It was so clear and so easy. However,...

"What will happen to the citizens if this 'world' is broken?" Reg had a bad feeling.

"Of course their wishes will disappear. The citizens will be brought back to where they were from." The governor continued "You must crush other people's wishes into dust to gain your wish which is to escape from this 'world'. That is the reason why everyone knows how to do it but chooses not to do it."

Reg's face was pale. "So much burden..."

Riko kept her silence. The situation looked like the Hollow village in the Sixth layer but it was more serious.

At that time, Riko liked the Hollow village. She could get out of it freely so it was ok for her to choose to protect the village.

However, if Riko wanted to get out of this 'world', she must sacrifice other people's homes.

Riko was hesitant.

"Can we borrow the sword from Amar, sosu? I remember he said that the sword was broken, sosu. Is it ok to use a broken sword, sosu?" Faputa asked the governor.

They are all surprised by her unfazed attitude.

At the gate, Riko team could see that Amar was making dinner to welcome them.

'7 days for traveling inside the place. You came back so soon.' Amar used sign language to exclaim.

Then he continued with a little bit of sadness, 'I do not have enough time to prepare for the welcome.'

Riko said to him in sign language 'Hey Amar, we knew about the nature of this 'place'. We want to escape from it.'

'Are you sure?' Amar asked.

'Of course, sosu.' Faputa confirmed.

Scanning other people's faces, Amar smiled and said 'I think Faputa is the only one who was so sure about it.'

He continued, 'Then Faputa wants me to use 'Amorydeseo'?'

Faputa nodded her head.

Amar showed his dilemma face 'If using it to crush this 'world', the attack will crush the sword into dush too. The sword is quite important to me. I do not want to lose it...'

Faputa was confused, she knew that he was telling the truth. By the way, she did not want to force him to sacrifice his treasure.

Amar burst into laughter while watching this situation. 'It is ok, if Faputa does me a favor then I will voluntarily use 'Amorydeseo' to help your team.'

'Wow' Faputa excitedly asked 'What is it, sosu?'

Amar bowed his head and signed to Faputa 'Please have a date with me, Faputa. I have an important thing to tell you.'

Riko and Reg felt like they dropped their jaws.

'Ok, sosu.' Faputa purely agreed 'But why is it a date? It should be a thousand dates, Amar. It is so fun to hang out with you.'

Faputa held Amar's hands without resistance.

Reg experienced from this surprise to other surprises.

Faputa, do you know what a date means? Riko and Reg thought the same thing.

Amar smiled embarrassingly.

'When will we start, sosu?' Faputa was so excited.

'Tomorrow, we will travel through the inside of the wall. There were definitely a ton of vendors selling good dishes.' Amar declared lively.

'But Amar told us that you can not enter the inside, sosu.' Faputa said.

'No, I do not like it so I choose to not enter. However, it is different this time. It is so suitable for a date so I like it now.' Amar replied.

Then he said his goodbye and ran away. 'I need to prepare for tomorrow, everybody just eat dinner and rest without me.'

Amar easily opened the gate with his bare hands and quickly entered the inside of the wall.
