Hello guys......

Sorry for late update......but now a days I m a little busy....and won't be able to update frequently......I will try my best to update soon...but can't commit right now...

Right now I m more focusing on my other story Stars and Fireflies as the current track is little tricky.....so will try to update this one as well if possible....

"Manik" he whispered startling shreya making her think whether he is the same manik about whom nandini was talking.

"Ohhh acha......tum nandu ke class mate ho" she asked in an attempt to make a conversation.

"Ummm....nahi...nahi vo m senior hu uska" he said nervously.

Suddenly they heard sound of car horn.

"Rajesh agae sayad" shreya said while moving towards the door where she saw rajesh coming in the house.

"Achanak se barish kaise hogae ajj" rajesh complained while passing his bag to shreya.

"Ap bhege toh nahi na......m towel latte hu" shreya said while hurriedly moving inside. Soon she came with the towel and handed it to him.

"Appa" nandini came running towards rajesh making him smile at her lovingly.

"Mera baby kaisa h......" Rajesh asked while side hugging nandini making shreya smile. They were busy in their small family moment totally forgetting about manik who was looking at them with sad and vulnerable eyes.

"Manik" suddenly rajesh called as soon as he spotted manik in the living room making shreya and nandini aware of his presence.

"Ohho m toh bhul hi gae.....  nandini ka friend manik aya h ajj.....vo barish ho rahi thi na so he came to drop her." Shreya said making rajesh smile.

"Khade kyo ho beta sit" shreya said while patting manik back.

"Nandu appa keliye pani lao" shreya said making her run towards the kitchen. Soon she came with water and offered it to rajesh.

"So manik how are you??" Rajesh asked affectionately while ruffling his hair making him nervous. He awkwardly shifted in his place.

"Ummm....fine" he shuttered making rajesh and shreya exchange looks.

"Umm aunty....uncle its late m chalta hu" he said while getting up.

"Arre par beta dinner karlo phir jana" rajesh said.

"N....nahi ghr ..ghr pe wait karre honge sab" he said while looking here and there.

"Acha chalo .....I will drop you.....just give me five minutes" saying this rajesh went upstairs with shreya behind him. Now nandini and manik were alone in the living room.

"M....manik thank you so much for the help. Agar tum nahi atte toh m..." She thanked.

"No need " saying this he walked towards the door.

"Arre par......manik stop...please stop....sunto lo na ek baar. Please manik i sorry....please forgive me" she pleaded while going behind him.

"Ohh please stop this....I m not interested." He said in an annoyed tone.

"But manik..." She was about to say something more but stopped hearing rajesh and shreya voice.

"Come manik" rajesh said while moving out as it was just drizzling now.

"Nandu chalo bye bolo manik ko" shreya said.

"Bye manik" she whispered in a sad tone making manik turn towards her. Seeing her upset face sometime ached in his heart but he avoided that feeling.

"Bye" he whispered back and went to sit in the car. Soon they left while nandini and shreya kept standing there only.

"Chalo nandu" shreya said while closing the door. They made their way to the living room and sat their quitely.

"Nandu kya hua bacha??" Shreya asked on seeing her upset.

"Kuch nahi mumma" she whispered while side hugging shreya making her smile.

"Thaak gaya mera baby" shreya stated while kissing her forehead.

In the car.....

Manik was continuously looking out of the car lost in his thoughts.

"So manik" suddenly rajesh spoke making manik look at him questionably.

"Kha rehte ho tum" rajesh asked.

"The new blank colony" he said.

"Toh how is school"rajesh asked again in an attempt to make some conversation.

"Fine" he gave a short answer while shrugging his shoulders.

"Ok" rajesh said. Soon they were outside manik's house, he without saying anything got out of the car when rajesh stopped him.

"Manik.....if u need anything.....anytime let me know ok" he said startling manik. He was about to say something but stopped hearing shouting and fighting voices coming from his house. He immediately turned towards rajesh with shocked expressions as he didn't wanted anyone to know about his family issues.

"Manik ye kaise awaz h.....m chale dekhta hu" rajesh voluntierd while coming out of the car startling manik.

"No no uski koi jarrurat nahi h....ap please jao..." Manik said anxiously.

"Par"

"No thanku drop karne keliye par ap jao" saying this he hurriedly ran in the house confusing rajesh. He kept looking in manik's direction for sometime and left after few minutes.

"Wat the hell raj tum samjhte kya ho apne apko??" Came neyonika's shouting voice as soon as manik stepped in the house.

"Ohh shut up neyonika aur paise do mujhe" raj screamed angrily making manik flinch. He quitely went upstairs in his room and locked the door.

"U bitch.....kya mujhe pta nahi h tum kya karti ho office m" came Raj's accusing voice.

"Get out" came neyonika's screaming voice and then soon followed by the door banging indicating that either of the two left.

Manik's pro....

"Dadu" I whispered as I was missing him very much right now. Seeing nandini's happy family all my happy days with dadu came running back to me.

Her mom and dad are so perfect and mine are fighting like dogs and cats....
Wow seriously..

"Baba" I was busy in my thoughts when my house maid called while knocking my door.

"Yes" I said while opening the door.

"Dinner leau baba" she asked making me sigh as my appetite was lost now.

"No I m not hungry" I said.

"Par baba apka favourite dish bane h please khale" she pleaded making me sigh.

"Bola na nahi cahiye please leave me alone" I shouted frustratedly making her leave.

"Why .....why is all this happening to me???..

Kya jarrurat thi uski help karne ki...kya jarrurat thi manik uske ghr jane ki ab dekhliya.....u are not normal neither your family??? Tu kabhi normal nahi reh sakta..." I thought while scolding himself.

"No..no..I have to stay away from her. No....I can't go easy...I have to be strong yes manik" I murmured in determination.

Next morning

"Rahul....tu kaha tha raat ko..." Asked Aarav anxiously.

"M ghr chala gaya tha tune hi yoh kaha tha m usko lock..." Rahul was about to say further.

"Kya karra h dheere bol koi sunn lega..." Aarav said while dragging Rahul in a corner.

"Ab bol" he said.

"M toh lock karke chala gaya tha yr" he said making Arav eyes go wide.

"Kyaa....tu pagal h tu ruka kyo nahi yaha. Aur tune usse lock kardiya tha kya pakka se" he asked nervously.

"Haan kardiya tha yr...par ek minute tu aise kyo puchra h jaise tu vaha gaya hi nahi" rahu asked suspiciously making Aarav nervous.

"Yr vo m ja nahi paya.....it was raining aur m" Aarav said making Rahul worried.

"Wat are u mad....tu gaya nahi .....par maine usse lock krdiya tha...shit kahi no abhi tak vaha band toh nahi....Aarav are u mad....ye kya kiya tune....isiliye m kahra tha manik ke bina kuch mat kar...par tu" Rahul said sternly making Aarav angry.

"Tu kahana kya chatta h manik hi har kaam theek karta h ha" he asked angrily making Rahul roll his eyes.

"Ab kya karna h ye bata...vo vaha par locked h aarav" he asked worriedly.

"Agar kuch hogaya toh" he added making Aarav worried as well.

"Kuch kuch nahi hoga....hum school ke baad chalenge" Aarav said.

"Yr school ke baad toh bahut late hojaega kahi kuch gadbad hogae toh" rahul asked worriedly.

"Konsi gadbad ki baat hori h" suddenly a third voice came startling both Rahul and aarav. They both turned towards the person and saw it was manik, who was looking at them suspiciously.

"Ma...manik tu....hi" Aarav said nervously while looking and Rahul and through his eyes indicating him to not tell anything to manik.

"Hi" manik said while coming towards them.

"Tum log kya baate karte ho" he asked while eyeing them both.

"Kuch nahi....bas test ki....ha test ki baat karre the" Aarav said making manik suspicious.

"Acha" he said.

"Haan....haan manik...test ki baat karre the" Rahul said nervously.

"Test hi toh h.....why so worried???" Manik asked casually.

"Yaa" they both mewed worriedly.

"Come lets move in the class" manik said and with this they all started moving in there class.
The first two lectures were over while there third lecture was free, so they all moved towards the canteen.

Both rahul and Aarav were nervously looking at each other as they were worried wat if nandini was still stuck there.
They were busy in their own thoughts when Rahul saw something aur u can say saw someone he immediately shaked Aarav and pointed towards the door where they saw nandini standing.

"How come she is here??" Aarav whispered to Rahul who just shrugged his shoulders.

"Thank god....mere toh jaan nikal rahi thi subha se iska soch soch ke" Rahul whispered.

"Ha par ye..." Aarav whinced as he was not at all happy as how nandini was here, now he was angry as his plan flopped. He without saying anything further left from there angrily confusing both manik and Rahul.

"Isse kya hua h Rahul subha se weird kyo behave karra h" manik asked while looking in the direction where Aarav left but stopped seeing nandini on the entrance. She was laughing on something with her friends while her long hairs were swaying on her back. Suddenly she turned her face towards manik as if sensing his gaze on her making manik look at her with wide eyes on being caught. He immediately turned away from her feeling awkward on being caught staring at her.

"Kaha jarra h ab tu??" Rahul asked when he saw manik getting up.

"Umm...... washroom" saying this he hurriedly left from there. He was going down the stairs as the washroom was on the other floor when someone came infront of him making him look at the person with wide eyes.
