Malhotra Mansion

Nandini woke up at 9AM. She sat on her bed and folded her hand to pray. Memory of last night came to her mind that made her sad. She get freshened up and went downstairs.

In the living room cabir was sitting with sleepy eyes. Nandini went and sat beside Mukti. As it is Sunday they don't have school today.

"Nandu bacha have this milk." Said neyonika giving Nandini glass of milk.

"Neyo mom I don't want to drink milk. It's yuck." Said Nandini making faces.

"Drink quietly, I will not hear anything in this matter." Said neyonika little strictly. And Nandini know in the topic of health nobody will listen. Therefore she quietly started to drink milk making yuck face.

"Mom where is Bhai. I haven't seen him." Asked Mukti to which Nandini also started to listen and waited for neyonika's answer.

" He has gone for his extra class beta. He will not return till evening." Said neyonika to which Mukti and Nandini got sad.

" But mom today is Sunday. Why he have to study so much? " Said Mukti.

"You know bacha he has his board exams this year." Said neyo to which Mukti noded her head understanding.

Saying this neyonika sat along with them and Raj also came. They all were talking but get interrupted in between by the knock on door.

Neyonika got up and went to open the door.

"Surprise.." they all listened and went to door. There neyonika and ishita were hugging each other.

"Mamma papa... " Shouted Nandini in excitement and hugged his dad tightly.

"Princess. I missed you." Said Raman hugging her daughter dearly.

"How is my princess doing?" Asked Raman.

"I am good papa just missed you alot." Said Nandini still hugging his father while Raman is stroking her hair lovingly.

"I think nobody had missed me." Said ishita faking sadness. Listening her mother's voice Nandini came out from her father's embrace and hugged her mother tightly.

"I missed you both mamma." Said Nandini hugging her.

After that they all came in hall and sat on couch talking.

"Where is Manik? Isn't he at home?" Asked ishita.

" No he had some extra class. So gone to attend them." Said neyonika.

"Raman we just talk yesterday but you didn't tell me that you guys are coming back." Asked Raj.

"Because we want to surprise you." Said Raman.

" For how many days you both have come." Nandini asked little sadly.

"We are not going back princess. Our work is completed there. Now we have returned to our home." Said Raman making Nandini happy.

"Really?" Asked Nandini excitedly.

" Yes princess. Now happy?" Said Raman.

"Very" said Nandini showing her teeth.

In the evening, Nandini returned to Murthy Mansion with Ishita and Raman. She was very happy with there return. After spending some time with her parents she came to her room and her thoughts drifted to yesterday night. On one side of her mind, she was feeling nervous to face Manik after whatever she had confessed last night but on the other side, she was desperate to meet him and see his reaction. She so wanted to meet him but he didn't returned till she was in Malhotra Mansion.

Next day
Morning

Nandini came to school with Cabir and Mukti as Manik already left for his early morning class. Nandini understood that he was trying to avoid meeting her. "Manik I know why you came to meet mamma papa in early morning. You want to avoid me." Thought Nandini sadly.

Next 3 days went with Nandini trying to meet Manik but he always avoided her.

Night

Manik was standing in the terrace gazing sky.

At the same time Nandini walked up to the terrace of her home and looking here and there her eyes caught a figure standing at the corner of the adjacent terrace.

She jumped to the adjacent terrace and walked near to the figure knowing it must be Manik.

Gathering up her courage she walked to him.

"Manik..." She said touching his shoulders lightly.

Manik stiffened listening her voice and stood still. Nandini tapped his shoulders to gain his attention.

"Why are you standing here all alone?" Asked Nandini.

Listening her Manik turned around with straight face.

" It's my house and my terrace I wanted to came so I came. I don't need your permission to come. Do I? " Said Manik rudely.

"Why are you talking like this? I was just asking." She said being hurt with his rudeness.

"Listen Nandini don't waste my time and leave." Saying this he started to go but Nandini hold him from back encircling her hands around his waist.

"Why are you being rude to me Manik." Asked Nandini with tears in her eyes.

"I have always been like this with you Nandini. This is nothing new." Said Manik removing her hands and turning around.

"Manik I love you." Said Nandini when Manik was leaving.

Listening her Manik was shocked will be understatement. He never thought that she will say it again. Nandini herself was shocked that she confessed again.

Recovering from his shock Manik said.

"Go away Nandini. Leave from here." Said Manik.

" No I wouldn't go. " She said stubbornly.

" I don't love you." Said Manik breaking her hope.

"It's just a crush you have on me. " Said Manik listening which she became angry.

"Crush. I know my feelings well. So don't you dare call it a crush. Here I am confessing my love for you second time and you are calling it a crush." Shouted Nandini.

"Listen Nandini. " Manik came forward to hold her but she snapped away.

"No you listen to me. Do you think it was easy for me to confess it. I was hell scared to come in front of you after I confessed it for the first time but I did and you think this as crush." Shouted Nandini.

"Nandu you are getting me wrong. I care for you and want to see you successful in life." Said Manik trying to calm her down.

"What do you mean Manik?How my success is related to me being in love with you? " Asked Nandini listening him.

"There is nothing like that Nandini." Said Manik.

"Ok if there is nothing then swear on me that there is nothing, say that you don't love me, say that I don't matter for you, say that you hate me, say that it will not affect you even if I die." Said Nandini when Manik shouted.

"Nandini. Shut up, just shut up. What nonsense are you talking. You want to know whether I love you or not. Then listen to me loud and clear yes I love you. I love you not from today , yesterday or a month, I love you from the three damn years." Shouted Manik.
