Should the protagonist level up the Strength arcana social links to level 8, James will tell him about his struggles in the past. How he got yelled, bullied, ridiculed, just because he has a mental issues. It doesn't even help that his parents leave him in the orphanage alone. But, the real problem is that he also once suddenly goes rampaging. James expresses his hate against the people that ridiculed him, to the point he suddenly goes out of control and start attacking people. In the end, he got kicked out, because he knock the other orphans that bullied him into a coma state. Since then, he struggles to get a control over himself, to the point he almost kill himself. Remembering the past makes James chuckles sadly, before he praise the protagonist for becoming a friend that never try to get him out of control. By the end of the social link, James told the protagonist that he and Zack are on the same page. They have fun and he stated that he and Zack have a blood pact. Then, James thanked the protagonist for making him and Zack and realized that the bond between the two are strong. Then, James promise that him and Zack will always live together without having to start a fight and he thanked the protagonist for teach them the meaning of trust. Having his resolution changes, James' Persona Lu Bu transfigures into Mori Nagayoshi
