After proving to you that he wasn't playing games with you, Marco had gone to his room to work on some things like always.

"Yo Ace"

"Let's play tag"

You said after quickly tagging him and running like crazy towards the doors that led to below deck. You jumped half the time because it was easier for you to get away from him.

"If you're gonna jump like that then I can use my devil fruit powers!"

"No it's not fair! You're too fast when I'm not jumping"

"Well should have asked someone else to play tag with!"

Ace used his fire to boost himself towards you, just as he was about to tag you your foot ran into one of the loose floor boards and you stubbed your toe. Not only did you stub your toe, you got a massive splinter in it that ripped the nail of your toe off as you went to lift your foot.

"Shit (Y/N) are you okay? hah"

Ace walked to you before realising your toe and the nail you left behind on your fall.

"Oh fuck!"

Words couldn't describe the pain you were feeling right now, you looked down to your foot to only see it covered in blood.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! ACE!!!!!!!!!! HELLLLPP MEE!!!!!!!"

"FUCK ACE!!!!!! MY TOE!!  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Your eyes began to poor out tears and they wouldn't stop flowing as your vision began to blur.

"HELPPPPPPPPPPP SOME ONE GET THE MEDIC!!!!" Ace called out as he kneeled down beside you. You began to yell and sob loudly as the crew rushed down and out of their rooms. A second later you passed out from shock, the sight of blood was always new to you.

"Ace! What happened! I heard (Y/N) screaming!" Marco said as he jogged over.

"Her toe nail got ripped off!"

Marco's eyes widened as he found your unconscious body on the floor along with the blood all over your foot.

"You piece of shit how could you let this happen to her!!" Marco yelled at him angrily before picking you up and running to his room to get you fixed with his first aid kit.

"Damn girl, I shouldn't have ever let you out of my sight"

Marco got out his kit and began fixing up your wounded toe.

You woke up 30 minutes later.

"Oh gosh I'm dead aren't I.."

"No you're not" Marco replied as he brought his chair to his bed side.

"If you remembered me saying don't play tag below deck this wouldn't have happened"

"Oh yeah...sorry.."

"Well you've learned your lesson I hope.."

"Mhmm.."

Marco kissed your cheek.

"Are you feeling better?"

"Y-yeah, it just stings a little"
