When Chloe drives us to the Blackwell is almost night.
The sky is dark blue and it's colder than before.
Chloe stops at the parking lot, where we met her.
"Well, it's time Max, _______."
Me and Max go down from the truck.
"I'm glad to saw you today after five long years, Chloe."
"So am I, Max. Hope to see you both soon. And not after years..."
"Tomorrow will be perfect, right ______?"
"Sure, if we will have time between all the tests..." - I say.
"Don't worry. It's the first week. The professors aren't that evil."
"Alright girls, see you tomorrow. Text me Max: maybe we can go to the diner for lunch where my mum works."
She waves her hand and goes. Max and I go ahead to the school.

The curt is the same and if it wasn't I'm not going to be surprised after this day.
There are less people because of the dinner time.
Now that I think about it I'm so hungry and I realize I don't know where to eat.
Maybe I can order some food online...
Suddenly my stomach gurg just before enter in the dorm.
"Someone seems hungry, isn't you?"- Max smiles.
"Actually yeah..." I smile back. "But I haven't planned anything."
"You can dinner with me, if you want."
"It's so nice Max, thank you!"
"No problem. Honestly, neither I planned something but I will take the food from a near shop. What do you want to eat?"
"Mhh...________________(food/y/w).
"I love it to! Okay, so I'm going to the shop before it close. See you in my room!"- she winks at me and goes.
"Wait Max! Here's the money for my food." I take some dollars from my pocket.
"Don't worry , _________! I'm paying for you!" - she screams at the end of the road.
I smile. I could't ask a better friend than Max.

I have enough time for a shower so I come back into my room for take the shampoo and other stuff.
When I enter in the bathroom I can see Kate brushing her teeth.

"Hi Kate."
"Oh, hi ________."
"You feel better?"
"Sure. And thank you again. The world seems to hate me..."
"Don't say that! You're a fantastic person! Don't listen to Victoria and Mr.Madsen's bullshit."
"Maybe you're right..."
"What you will do after the bathroom?" - I ask.
"Oh nothing... Just reading the Bible in my room."
"Have you already eat?"
"Uhm... Actually no. I'm not hungry tonight..."
She seems so weak and tired, poor Kate.
"I've wondering... Maybe you want to join me and Max in her room for a dinner togheter... What do you think?" - I ask with a smile.
"Oh... That's so sweet... So there are people who care about me?"
"Kate, a lot of people care about you." I take her hand. " I knew you and Max just this morning but it seeems like I knew for years... Let me just tell to Max you will join us..."
I take my phone.
"Oh, I forgot to ask her number. How stupid I am."
"Don't worry. Here, I got it."
Kate shows Max's number and I sign it.
"Hello?" - responds Max on the phone.
"Hi Max, it's  _______. Buy some food for Kate. She will join us!"
I'm so happy to spend a dinner with them.
"Wonderful! See you after _______."
"Bye!"
I end the call.
"I'm going to do a shower now. See you at the Max room in fifteen minutes."
I wave a hand and go straight to the shower.
"See you soon ______!"

The hot water hit my skin, making me ralax.
Ahh, I really needed this. After all the freaking day.

Finally I can rest and after eat without guns, the principal Wells and David Madsen.
I finish the shower and dressed up. Kate is not in the bathroom, probably she is already in the Max room. I need to hurry.
I take my stuff and go to my dorm to change my clothes.
The room is as I left it, but more darker.
I switch on the little lights above my bed and leave my shampoo on a shelf.
Then I open the armchair. Mhh... What should I wear for a dinner with girls?
A crop-top with this skirt would be perfect.
I put a little bit of make-up and do my hair.
I'm watching myself when a notification arrives to my laptop.
"Who could it be?"
I control the screen... "An e-mail from... Mr.Jefferson?"
How did he find me? Oh right, before enter this school to all students was given a personal school e-mail, wich consist in your name, dot, your surname and the name of the school. So it was easy for him.

"It should be fine." - I say sending the e-mail.
Then I close my laptop and lie in bed. Mr.Jefferson must be so appreceat beacause of his heart. None of my professors give me so much compliment and send an e-mail to ask if the first day was ok. Neither principal Wells was as nice as him. Here the mystery why every girl fall for him. If I have only a chance to...
"__________?" - someone calls me and knocks at the door.
I go to open it.
"________! Here you are! We'are waiting for you." - Max takes my hand.
She wears a cute pajamas with chickens on her shirt and a pair of grey shorts.
Behind her there is Kate.
"Oh sorry, I was overthinking like usual." - I do an embarrassed smile.
Then Max guides me to her room.

"Ta-daa!" - Max opens the door.
"It's full of food! Wow Max!" - I say watching the desk.
"Well, it's a girls' night, so I decided to take some extras of everything."
"Thank you for inviting me. Nobody did this before..." - says Kate.
"Anytime, Kate." - Max smiles.
We sit on her bed and start to eat the food. 
"Well girls, what do you want to do?" - asks Max.
"Talk about boys, listen music, fight with pillow..." - I say.
"Truth or dare, _____."- asks to me Max.
"What?"
"C'mon. Truth or dare." - she says with clever eyes.
"Oh okay. Mhhh.. Truth."
I know exactly what she's gonna ask to me...
"Do you like Mr. Jefferson?"
I almost split the food in my mouth and Kate laughs.
"Tell us the truth,_____. We're friends and I promise we will not tell anybody. Right Kate?"
She nods.
"Um..." I don't know what to say. He like him? Or it's because he's just only famous?
"I don't know... But he's pretty old for me, isn't he?"
"He's thirty-five. Not that old but non that young..." - observes Max.
"Alright it's my turn." I try to change the argument. "Max, truth or dare?"
"Obviously truth. I don't wanna eat ketchup with chocolate or something else..."
"Do you will give a chance to Warren?"
"I think yes... but I'm not that sure. After Nathan, Chloe...Everything is happening so fast."
"Who is Chloe?" - asks Kate.
"You absolutely need to know her. She's my childhood friend. I think you will be good friends, even if you're completely different."
"And you can help us to find Rachel Amber. We're trying to investigate but it's complicated. They, Chloe and Rachel, were best friends but one day she just disappear...And Chloe is so upsate. She takes medicines to feel better...- I explain to Kate.
"Oh, that's sad... I will be glad to help you."
"Thanks Kate." - says Max. "But enough of sad things... Think about having fun!"
She throw a pillow on me.
"Hey! Come here!" - I laugh and run after her.
Max throw another pillow on Kate.
"How about to make a team and take a revenge?" - I ask to her.
"I'm in." - she smiles.
For ten minutes me and Kate trhow pillows on Max and we all laugh.
Some papers from the desk fly on the floor, making the room messy.
"Okay okay. White flag for me!" - jokes Max. "Wanna see a film?"
We are thirsty, sweaty and with messy hair, so it's okay to take a break.
"Cool! What do you have?"
"When I was going to the shop I met Warren. He gave me his flash-drive again because he didn't need it, for now."- says Max putting the flash- drive in the laptop. "There are only fanta-science movies... It's that okay of everybody?"
Me and Kate nod, so Max places her laptop opposite of us and starts the film.
It's about some superheroes with laser eyes on the space... Not really my type but it's funny.
A take a sip of my beverage and focus on the film.

Something wakes me up. Something cold. Max's feet.
I lazily open my eyes.
"Huh...What's time is it?" - I say sitting on the bed.
Max is sleeping next to me but... no trace of Kate.

On the screen there are the author's credits. So it's not that late.
The laptop signs half past ten.
Where did she go? Maybe she was the only one awake and when the film finisced she just went to her dorm. Even if I barely know Kate I can bet she never acts rude, so she didn't want to wake us up.
I take a post-it and write a note for Max.

Goodnight Max, or it's better a goodmorning ahah?
Because you fell asleep watching the movie ( so am I but keep it a secret ) and I think you will read before go to school.
I'm writing this to let you know that the movie and the food was fantastic! Thank you for being so nice.

I stick it on the wall near the desk, so she will never miss it.
Still with sleepy eyes, I switch off the laptop and put it on the desk, cover Max with a blanket and turn off the lamp.

I never see Max sleeping before. She is so cute. Like an innocent baby.
"Goodnight, Max." - I whisper closing the door behind me.
